Hi there,I have the Cheyenne and I think I am mastering quite well the startup, taxying, takeoff and flying it around all manually. However I am still very far away from making a greaser landing with this beauty. I am either too fast or too slow that I just stall and slam it in the ground.Could someone out there please post his actual procedure including speeds, throttle settings, flaps and gear deployment for landing the Cheyenne as all the fun I get out of it suddenly disappears when I come for the landing phase of a flight. Also does the APPR function of the autopilot work correctly? The reason being that whenever I tried to use it the aircraft descends far too fast on …

Dead in the water now. Took my Wingman back and, after going through three of these things, got a full refund. But now I'm without a joystick.Searched the stores in two towns here and came up zilch. Now I'm browsing Ebay auctions and have seen two that really caught my interest. There were a number of Saitek X36 available starting at $10 and up.http://ebay0.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_EBAY_4...b9ea8c6/i-1.JPGThere was one Saitek X45 at $65 with still 4 days to go so it will probably sell for far more than I can afford.http://www.cs.sunyit.edu/~augustm/ebay/sai...ottle_stick.jpgDoes any of you have or have had experience with these sticks who could give me some insight on them?Or…

Hey everyone, I finally took the plunge into AFCAD/Traffic Tools/Project AI. It's freakin' awesome!....Seems like I spend more time "spotting" than flying now. I've downloaded all the Airline sets/flightplans from www.projectai.com. My questiion is do sets exist for the following airlines: American, American Eagle, Continental, Delta, Northwest, America West and any other US carriers that PAI doesn't have up yet? Thanks!Fiveholer :-jumpy

I've been out of the FS2k2 loop for a bit. I am ready to graduate from the C172 I've been flying in the sim, but none of the other built-in planes are capturing my interest. I tried the Baron, but don't really like the view from the virtual cockpit (Scenery is obstructed by the wings and engine cowlings), and it just feels a bit more advanced than what I am ready for.I want to stick with a single-engine prop plane, but something with more speed and umph than the Cessna. I used to enjoy flying the Mooney Bravo in FU3, but I don't see any Mooney's available in the file library here. What's important to me:* Good virtual cockpit* Good visibilility (I like a nice field of view…

Well, I took the plunge yesterday and made a start with Project AI. Spent an hour or so downloading the base installer and then downloaded three airline auto installers, BA, KLM and Lufthansa. Opened the zip file to find the base installer exe file and no documentation. OK. So, deep breath and I installed it.No problems so far. Opened the BA zip, again the installer and no documentation. Hmmmm, OK, clearly on my own again, so double-click and off it goes. Seems a good bit of kit, installs the aicraft and does all the TTool stuff, very clever. So, can I run another airline installer? Absolutely no idea, there is no documentation with the files after all! So, I run …

Tom, once again you have outdone yourself. Just beautiful! I might move to Alaska yet!!Screenshots to follow.Moser BayFile Description:FS2002 Scenery - Moser Bay, Alaska. Located at the south end of Kodiak Island this is an enhancement of the default seaplane base. This scenery is fictional but it is very loosly based on what you would find there in reality. There are five start locations, two on land and three on water. Many custom objects were created for this project. Photoreal textures with seasonal and night lighting changes. This weekend as I was completing my preflight for a long haul EGLL-KORD my purter died on me - I think. Everytime I try to restart it it says there is no primary hard drive. I didn't make any changes to the jumper settings so my fear is that the HD may be dead. It recognizes the secondary drive and when I start the computer the light on the primary drive comes on and I can hear the disc turning but the computer says there is no primary hard drive. I know this is not a lot of information for a diagnosis but as I sit at work waiting for the day to end so I can take the bloody machine in to the doctor I wanted to see what you guys think the problem could be. 2100+ AMDWIN X…

AllThere are some very exciting homebuilt/kit aircraft out there waiting to be modeled. The GlassAir comes to mind or maybe an RV-6 or 8. Abacus modeled a Glassair but well thats another story. The GlassAir III is one beautiful high performance A/C. Never Exceed Speed (VNE): 335mph Max Cruise / %Pwr / Alt: 280 mph / 75% / 8,000 Ft. Econ Cruise / %Pwr / Alt: 264 mph / 65% / 8,000 Ft. Max Climb Rate: 3,000 + FPM Stall Speed: 74 mph Range: 1100 Miles I would love to have this one in my hanger.

I'm curious. We all love FS2002 and we all know that it has a lot of problems we'd like solved. We also know that the FS2002 team is not going to help us out with a patch. With all the open ended programing and the SDK's being released, would it be possible to have freeware, or even payware developers patch a few bugs in the simulator itself? What do you ladies and gentlemen think?Obviously there would be some trouble initially with copyrights and all that, but if FS is truly open-ended, why not let the real wizards have a crack at it?>:-) In this instance, "real wizzards" does not include me. :-lol

My computer specs areP4 2.0 Gig256 MB RamGeforce 2 MX/400I was getting better frame rates with my celeron 700 with less ram, and the same video card! With the 700 the frames were about 10-30.With my new system, the frames are 5-10. I don't understand it.I have Windows 98. Maybe it is a driver problem, but I don't know which drivers to get or where to get them.Any help would be appreciated!http://www.webspawner.com/users/ahay/FINAL%20BANNER.jpgRegards,Aaron
