I've searched the forums and found few references to this, which I find a little suprising. In FS2K2, the selection of engines on multi-engine aircraft seems extremely flaky. If keys E-1 are selected in sequence, for example, to select only that engine, the sim seems extremely reluctant to then accept E-1-2 to reselect both engines on a twin. I've tried holding the keys down for a second or two, hitting them all simultaneously, hitting them very rapidly in sequence and sacrificing a goat at midnight, but success seems to be completely random. Hi All,Been away on a month of vacation thus out of the Flight Sim circle. It really is great to be back again. Going through my mail ( not E-Mail ) and found a copy of " Sim-Ware-Simulation Newsletter. To my surprize the letter states: "A320 Pilot in Comand " will be ready for sale and a " Demo video is available at www.simw.com " I did check it out and could not find the demo video. I am sure it will be out soon. One thing forsure IMHO it looks as a new standard is being born once again. Glad I held off on the PSS offer. I recently upgraded to a P4 2ghz, Intel 850 motherboard, (400 bus), etc, etc, etc. The mobo has onboard sound. It works. I still have a SoundBlaster live card left over. Should I install it to relieve the mobo/processor of sound duties, and also, give the system a hardware sound buffer? Carl

Hi everyone.Recently i've upload my file("RB734.zip") wich is realistic flight dynamics for default 737.i creat it from real 734 datas and have about 17 houres test flight without any problem.but after final changes(adding more station loads),while autopilot's vertical speed holder is working,the plane going up and down like a twist!.but strange thing is that this problem appear only in good and normal weather!!! and there is no such a problem in stormy situation!.dose any body know how can i fix it?Regards.Kaveh.

Hello.I live in Venezuela, and of course I like to fly within the country. The problem that happens a lot, at least in the Venezuela scenery of the FS 2002, is that in some point of the game the altimeter starts to go wild, the altitude showed starts to increase or decrease without any reason (the aircraft is leveled). Of couse this has consequences in the ATC, who starts to tell me to get back to the required altitude, until my IFR plan is cancelled.Even the AI traffic is affected, and the ATC cancel all the IFR plans. The Barometric Pressure goes wild too, cuz the info retrived from the ATC when the first contact is made can be as crazy as 17.80 (not 29.92 or 30.03 or…

Are there any developers out there working on improvements to the basic ATC engine within FS2K2? It would be great to see SID/STAR support, HF communication and controllers with authentic accents. I for one would be happy to pay for such a program, I am sure there would be sufficient interest across the FS community?

When I fly IFR, the ATC always sends me off in the wrong direction, especially when I get close to the airport I'm supposed to land at. I just want everything to be as realistic as possible. I don't want to fly a 747 on VFR. ;) Am I doing something wrong to make it this way, or is it just another flaw in the FS2002 ATC system?

My canopy glass appears too transparent. Im using a Voodoo 5 so Im sure this is it. Anyone have any idea how to fix this, otherwise these are very beautiful aircraft. Im thinking its time to part ways with the Voodoo...too many little things cropping up :) Is this a reflection issue or can the Glass_T bmp be made a bit more opaque for the Voodoo. I DO see a tiny bit of glass effect, but most of the time it looks like its not there. Just got FSNavigator latest version. I see that MP aircraft are supposed to be able to show up on the map but they don't for me. I checked through the help files and there wasn't any information on how to get it to work, anyone have any ideas? ThanksJustin E.

I was flying a short route from KBOI to CYVR. I did all of the usual procedures for landing, then landed like the ATC told me to. While decelerating, the ATC had a Dash-8 take off right over me! It only cleared mt by a few feet! Well, I think that the ATC needs a little work... ;)

I have set the frame rate, for FS 2002 Pro, at 30 fPs. However, I just read that the ideal setting is around 18 or 20 fps. Does anyone know what is the recommended setting in FS 2002 Pro for the frame rates?Thanks.Stanner
