I SURVIVED A SONY VAIO DESKTOP COMPUTER CRASH! ahhhhhhhh im reinstalling everything now :-bat :( well i'll see you later guys i plan to come back in a bang and should be up and running by tomorrow.p.s it took me 9 hours to kinker around ms dos :)

For some reason I've grown bored with the heavies and have taken to putting about the virtual world in aircraft not horribly dissimilar to the one that I earned my PPL in. I'm likely to buy myself the Archer for my birthday (since that is the aircraft in which I learned) and I've already downloaded the excellent B1900D and a few textures for it.What other props (singles, twins, whatever) are worth the download or purchase? I'd prefer something with a panel and sound package included if at all possible, but I can suffer through digging for one (or, shudder at the thought, alias a default panel).

Has anyone put together a chart of v-speeds that would apply to our flightsim aircraft? :-kewl

Let me try asking this question another way.When I have both of these devices plugged in the throttle on the Stick will not work with the Bell Helo. It does work with other aircraft. If I unplug the Yoke the throttle works fine on the Bell Helo.Does anyone no of a compatibility problem like this.Thanks in advance to all who reply.Regards!BillP4, 512 memory and XP Home OS

It was a great practice tool and confidence building aid. But raising kids and related/non-related stuff (including restoring a family heirloom Cessna 120) took precedence, and I drifted away from the simulator for a while. Hello, I have a big problem. After a takeoff 2 out of 3 times my PSS Airbus flies strait ahead only, regardless of what mode I select (HDG select or "VNAV" (I know it's called different by Airbus)). I can't do anything about it. Everything is programmed right: FMC: ZFW, flight route, V-Speeds, FOB...). It only happens with the PSS Airbus. Maybe someone can help me. My Ops is WinXP and what might be of interest is, that I use the Saitek X36 Combi Flight Stick.Thanks for every reply.

hello,Today I decided to go back to fs2002s default clouds instead of using the fsw clouds for performance reasons. They looked great but I felt they just completely killed my frame rates. Especially the monster thunder storm clouds beutiful but........ deadly on framerates. Where are the default fs2k2 clouds located? Thanks,Andrew :-wave

Been playing with the Reno Racer and discovered there's a third way to adjust torque and balance. They can be adjusted out or in through the flightmodel menu by increasing or decreasing the torque and P sliders. But, I often find though that even after nulling out both sliders all the way to the left there's sometimes still to much torque or sometimes torque where there shouldn't be any (ie: twin engines). In playing with the P51, I started monkeying around in the aircraft cfg Weight & Balance section with the CG settings:empty_weight_CG_position=0.0,-0.3,0.0I noticed that by decreasing the center number which moves cg to the left, I can create more left torque and…

Hello when i try to join someone elses ip in multiplayer i can't and when someone tries to join mine, they can not neither. I put my firewall to allow all, and even stopped it, and still nothing, does anyone know what the problem might be? I can connect to someone elses ip in Roger Wilco but when i go to see the basestations 0 servers are up?? And now i have trouble connecting to VATSIM when i want to take a flight. Anyone got a hot tips for this card?

I was downloading some files from AVSIM and realized that Internet Explorer, (v5.x I think) is no longer prompting me for a save. After spending an hour in the IE help feature, I've learned that a checkbox labeled "Always ask before opening this type of file" should be turned on and I am assuming that I somehow un-checked it.What it doesn't tell me is where to find that bloomin' checkbox! I looked in the IE Security provisions and the IE options but I don't see it. Does anyone know where to turn this back on?BobL

FS2002 at 1880 x 1440 x 32 usually locked at 21-22 with ALL hardware features active, and most sliders to max, and never ever ever ever locks up, even o'clocked to 110%? The same is true for Soldier of Fortune II, RTCW, Links2001, and all the rest, including flawless full screen DVD playback?The driver issue is such a rediculous issue at this point. hi guys,I posted earliar about a GeForce2. i really want to get a GeForce2 64mb AGP. i did post earliar but i have a little more info on my system. Its a compaq presario (733mhz, 128mb) with currently an Intel 810E graphics card. does anyone have a similar system and has tried a GeForce graphics card. someone said that i need to check if i have an AGP card that can support a G2 64mb. I had a little trouble finding info on google. Is there any one out there that has a similar system, that got a GeForce2? Thanksp.s. if there is someone out there that can help, with this configuratio usually what fps do you get with the G2?
