Can any one explain to me in exact detail how to addon terrain mesh when also adding on additional scenery to the same area. EG Tony Argumonts Cauba or the latest St.Maartin scenery. Can i just put the terain mesh bgl file in the fs2002 scenery folder and the rest in the fs2002 addon folder in the apropriate folders, or do i need to put the terrain mesh bgl in the addon folder as well. Do i need to activate the terain mesh bgls od just the addon bgls. I fing this quite confusing.Thanks in advance,Stuart!!!

Hi allI've just purchased Lago's mesh terrain for Southern Germany and as I am not familiar with that country I would appreciate any suggestions for airfields to fly from in the forest areas of Bavaria etc.TIADavid

I'm using the dreamfleet 737-400 and I want to know where I could find a good 737-300 that is compatible with dreamfleet. I'm also looking for a .air file for the 737-300. Anybody know a good gmax model or anything. Maybe in America West liveries. Thank You

I may be out of my mind, but I think we should. Over the last few months I've found it increasingly impossible to get anything from that site without getting the rip-off membership. You simply cannot download anything. I think Ferdy, the webmaster, is doing some shady business. He rips off aircraft from other website, not including AVSIM who wisely blocked his IP address. He takes files, and does not give the author credit. Plus, he has a link on his website that points to a company that takes freeware files and puts them on CD's!!! I've written him constant e-mails telling him that continuing like this will get him no where, but I don't get any responses from him. …

Is there a utility that compiles and decompiles the FS2K2 .mdl files in the model directory? What do designers use when they design new aircraft? The data.cfg and aircraft.cfg are both editable with Notepad, but the .mdl files are comiled code similar to .bgl files.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!Keith

One aspect of fs2002 that I really enjoy is taking virtual flights around places that I've only visited on the ground in Real Life. This summer we had the good fortune to spend some time on Pender Island in British Columbia, Canada. It's one of the "Gulf Islands" between the mainland of BC (nearby city = Vancouver) and the massive island called Vancouver Island (nearby city = Victoria). Hi,Having wondered for a long time that it would be good if you could put a PCI graphics card in your pc as well as an AGP card, I was amazed to find out recently that it can be done. I bought a GeForce 2MX400 64MB PCI card to complement my GeForce 2Ti AGP card and managed to get it rigged up. I had to change the bios to see the PCI card as Primary, then changed it within XP back to the AGP card. I downloaded a useful piece of software called Ultra-Mon, available from www.realtimesoft.com. When I boot up and use ENDITALL at the start of any PC session, I have 91%-94% system resources and 98% GDI resources. But after using IE and then closing IE down fully, the resource figure is usually around 81-83% max. Sometimes, after a massive IE session with tons of dowloads, the resources drop to 75-77%. I cannot increase them without rebooting the PC.Is this the so-called "RAM leak"? Is there a cure or fix for it?Thanks!JS

Recently I have had the following problem. During the takeoff roll, my plane will crab to the right about twenty-five degrees and remains that way until it has been in the air for thirty seconds or so. Then it straightens out. This is happening with FS and third party airplanes. I have the wind set to zero, have recalibrated the flight stick and tried autorudder both on and off. I have also tried forced feed back on and off and reset the flight stick sensitivities to default. Nothing seems to work. Thanks

im looking into buying a new control set. my USB sticks keep conflicting with my modem. anyone have any recommended ones that dont use the USB port.looking for something with rudder pedals but under $100.00 USrudders are optional but prefferd. and not looking for a fighter type stick.

Within the past few days I have not been able to get any files from AVSIM. Is it my Company's firewall that's blocking the access? How can I get around this? Has AVSIM changed something?I'm missing out on all these new files. This is not fun.:-fume

Hi Blue screen about 15 to 20 minutes into a flight. Just installed an earlier version of FSUIPC and so far so good. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this problem. Hi, I've been reading the Avsim forums for a few weeks now & thought I'd finally ask a question. I see in the file library that Chuck Dome has release a 4th version of his Mig Advanced Trainer (mig-at4p dated 6/5/02), but I've got a question about the one I'm used to --- version 2 (migat2 dated 11/29/01). When I use the Nav radios to tune in a VOR and an ADF, I see the VOR 3-letter code displayed and a green radial bearing, as well as the ADF code and a white radial bearing. What I can't seem to do is find a place to adjust:1) the heading (i.e. I can't find a functional heading bug adjust)2) the VOR radial (also no adjustment knob).Next question is about the textures …

I did as the readme said and put the 767 aircraft folder in the MS "aircrafts folder" but... all I get is the exterior views of the plane. The sound is that of the default 172 and the panel looks to be a "blank version of the 172 panel. The flight dynamics seem to be those of a 767 though... Can someone help me get the sound and panel for this aircraft? Do the sounds and panels not come as part of the POSKY model package?

G'day,Has anyone else booted up FS one day and recieved this error:"FS2002 has caused and error in AI_PLAYR.DLL. FS2002 will now close"I have tried replacing the dll with the one from the CD, but to no avial. Does anyone know how to resolve it?
