I recently installed a new panel (raylear2.zip) ((not suggesting the problem is with the panel)) and found with that plane, when loaded, I got a frame rate of 1 or zero! after just a couple of seconds.I believe I followed the install instructions and just before the panel install everything was fine and flying.I then removed the panel and set the airfile back but no change. Moreover any aircraft now exhibits this same effect.Is there an obvious reason for this or shall I have to re-install FS2002?ThanksNigel

I downloaded the excellent NAMC YS-11 from the AFG website (http://www.alliedfsgroup.com/). It's got everything except smoke on touchdown. Does anyone know how to add this?Thanks,Gary Davis.

I am a VFR pilot, and as much as I love FS2002, I realize it was not designed to be be a trainer for instrument flying, which is what I really need at this point.I find myself scratching my head on a LOC BC approach in FS2002. Rod Machado doesn't even address that in the ground school section.I need another program to go along with FS2002, that will actually teach me instrument approaches.What is the best software that will do this for me. The IP from ASA? Elite? Any others? Any recommendations?Thanks,Mike

Do somebody have those planes? Please write there so many specials about those planes how much you know. Specials, that dont are in the default FS2002 planes. I know only Piper engine hood disassembling. Someone told me that I can move around in those cockpits too, sit in the passenger seats etc. How I can do those operations? Thank you for helping me!!!

Hey folks!I recently downloaded this model, and visually, it is awesome. I also added the Thunderbird "smoke" utility to it to add a "show" flavor to aerial maneuvers.The real question I have (hopefully someone else has flown this model) is "How do you set any of the instruments (e.g. VOR, NAV, etc)?" I can't find a control in the cockpit panel that let's you change anything other than turning the power switch off and on. Documentation with the aircraft only relates to aircraft specs and history of the plane. No directions on anything else are included.Some of the standard FS2K2 keys control things like flaps, airbrakes, gear, etc. Perhaps I better go back and review ho…

I am asking this question in a number of different areas. I am doing some scenery for the Bolivia area. Very High altitude stuff at times 13,000 ft. Is there anyway to get the Autoget to work up that high? There is obviously little vegitation but would like it up there anyway. Any ideas? ThanksFrank.

I need help! My ground detail structures are gone! You know when standing on the runway you get some more details of the surface, not so smooth. It's turned on in the display options, I checked the FS2002.cfg and use the default textures. I also don't get the hi-res ground textures anymore. The sim loads the second best I guess anad then stops although my target frame rate is reached all the time. I got the hi-res textures all the time, but now they are gone. Maybe I should reinstall the whole FS2022? Hi all,I've just uploaded Rotax 503 sounds created from actual recorded samples of the real thing. I could not find any true Rotax sounds for Microsoft flight simulator so I decided that if I wanted it, now was the time to create it myself. Those with real-life microlight flying experience should be very familiar with these sounds.It should show up in the AVSIM file library as "Rotax_503_sounds" soon.Enjoy,Hennie

I've noticed recently when using the default real-world WX and I'm on approach to an airport, the wind gets very erratic usually below 2000'. I mostly fly the PIC767 so I can see the wind direction and speed. For example, today I was landing at KIAD and the winds were about 7kts. There is a point where the wind will start to circle from every direction and it makes the landing approach darn near impossible, even with light winds in a heavy. I've noticed it quite a bit recently. The WX works fine otherwise. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not sure if there is somehting I can do in FSUIPC to correct it. Thanks!Eric

Is there any update to the Simflyers KLAX scenery? The scenery has the runways and taxiways displaced from the default centerlines. My AI planes takeoff from the taxiways. Thanks, Bob.
