Folks,Has any one got the same combination as mentioned in the subject line? I have been trying to get my joystick working for the past couple of hours with no luck. Can anyone with a TrackIR tell me if you can invert the movements so that the view pans left if you move your head right and vice versa.I've only seen descriptions and reviews where moving your head left will pan left. I can see how this would work, but I think the other way might be more realistic...The monitor represents your cockpit window. If you move your head left in the cockpit (not rotating it, moving your whole head left) then you'd see more of the scene out of the right hand side of the window (ie, to the right of the aircraft). So you'd really want the view to pan right when you move your head left.PaulEGJJ

At some point in the not to distant past, I used to be "bothered" by aircraft not vacating the runway causing go-arounds, waits at the take-off point and taxiways, tcas traffic, and other A/c on the ground as i was taxiing ... now these things are not there and I miss them ... I recently got a new system...AMD Athlon XP1700, 512Mg PC2100 RAM, 80 gig HDD, ect ect, and, also, I got a new Ti4600. I thought that it would blow my old Tnt/Tnt2 card out of the H20, and it does. Silky smooth framerates, awesome performance, stunning visuals. But i am NOT happy with one aspect of the FS performance. Textures far away from me plane. I have downloaded GTU, and have modified my settings as follows, MipMap LOD -3.0, Antiscropy 32 Tap, and make my Antialiasing 4xS. I am running FS at 1024x768 resolution, with 32 bit colors. Hi all,Is there a way to save the data that is downloaded while in the Weather Window after one has downloaded weather data? Reason for asking, is I would like to have some realistic weather start up each time I start the sim. It appears that whatever real weather is downloaded, is no longer available once one exits and restarts fs2k2.I had unchecked the clear cache box in the Scenery window thinking that this may store the stuff in whatever cache file (never see a cache file generated under the subdir cache.........) which is another question I have.If one does not clear cache upon exiting the sim, shouldn't one see a cache file show up under the fs2k2 cache directory…

I installed Project Airbus' A320 and it crashed my FS2002, which has worked perfectly since I installed it. ALL my favorite aircraft were add-ons, I had to completely uninstall FS and spent five hours re-installing everything, and it still won't work right, even after deleting everything. Thanks.

"FS2002 Annonymous" is what i need now. Only owning this game for just 2 weeks and i need to be institutionalized already!.......I love it. :)But there are a few things i would like to see in the next MSFS. What comes to mind first is better damage modeling, or stricter rules for unauthorized landings and take-off's. Maybe different camera views etc. Also if you can incorporate the flight model of this game with damage modeling of CFS2 or IL-2, Wow i think i would have died and gone to heaven, then top it off with a good multiplayer setup.What would you like to see?....:)=Swivet=

I read the installation directions and it said to install the "gauges" in the gauges directory. I noticed in the Winzip there is a directory heirarchy. I'm a bit confused about what files go where. Can anyone help?pb4ugo :-scatter

Hi I have just been setting up AI-UK on my puter and it was whilstdoing so I noticed that in my aircraft folder is a folder for the MD-83 but in the select aircraft menu it doesnt appear so I cantselect it. Puzzled by this I installed FS2002 on my other 2 computers and each gave me a MD-83 folder but still no option to select it in theaircraft selection menu, It just doesnt appear in the listany ideas why ?I prefer an answer by email if possible as often dont have a lot of time to search forums for possible repliesCheersDon

Hi,I'm trying to figure out what causes my rudder problems in FS2002.I am using the CH USB yoke and rudder combination and never experienced any bugs in the past.For some strange reason, the rudder stops responding after using the sim for a few minutes and the rudder control surface (on the aircraft tails) locks itself in a "full left" deflection.I use Win XP Pro. Any ideas on how to correct the problem ?ThanksTwister

I have a bunch of FS2002 planes, both GMAX and FSDS. This is the first time I have ever seen such a problem.The Virtual Cockpit turns out completely pitch black. Only the gauges show up.In the exterior model, all the textures turn out messed up.I copied and pasted the 3 different folders (effects, gauges, aircraft) in the appropriate folders. I did not touch or tamper with ANY of the files. Everything is as is.I've installed nearly 50 FS planes already, so I know how to install them pretty well.I have a Voodoo3 3000 AGP 16MB card. It's not a great card, but it works fine for FS2002. I don't have any problems with it.I have POSky's A330 and 767-300ER GMAX models and they t…

Hi as I do not think any others have mentioned this i will say I download it from his site ,installed it and took it for a circuit around meigs .It looked beautifull and flew really nice and as a bonus i hit the water on my approach which killed the engines which gave me a good oportunity to look at the sexy new proppelors !(the airport manager was SO pleased !!!!!!)This is a amazing piece of work and to think it is free !!!!I then put a few of the textures of Anniette Aviation and tried them on the new Aircraft and these made it look more beautifull and the continental is already labled as a 500 lol,could it get better !!!!The American Eagle looked real bad and really mu…

Hello folks, I just discovered (again) this extraordinarily large (136MB) file that replaces the ATC Voice and adds airlines (such as America West, British Airways, Southwest, and Frontier) to the list that is recognized by ATC. Has anyone downloaded and installed this file? How come when I create a flight plan within FSNavigator and export it to FS2002 ATC never gets me on the runway i picked, OR, clears me for the arriving runway either. I create the flight plan with one runway, and have the ILS freq tuned and then last minute I have to change it cause I never know what they're going to clear me to. Is there a fix for this??? Hi all. Despite the feeding frenzy re PIC's A320, I merrily whiz along creating my own EAA fly-in flight plans. A few months back, somebody posted air and .cfg files that would allow use of the CFS2 AI aircraft in FS2K2 as AI(B-24,B25,G4M2,P-39, etc). I've run searches in the file library and have come up empty-handed. I know they're there somewhere.Can anybody direct me to the files? Please!Thank youRick
