I have a problem with the F50 with apu for FS2002. When I pull back on the joystick, the elevators move OK, but then go back to level position even if the joystick is still pulled back. On takeoff, the nose goes up a bit, but when the elevators go level, the nose bangs back onto the runway. This only happens on the F50. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, David

Hello allI have got FS2002 Pro, don't have too many add-ons installed, most of them are scenery. With what ot how do you guys create the common flight plan? Do most of you use the default FS planner or third party tools. The reason I am asking this is when I creat a FS flight plan it is basically a line from one place to another. So you colide smack into the destination airport without even being properly lined up with any runway. What am I missing or doing wrong? I have Ultimate Airlines which is quite good but it only imports properly when you have a pnael with an FMC, like PSS 747, 777, A320 or Dreamfleet 737 panels. Hi:I had FS2002 installed on my old system, and the runways would retain the actual skid marks of where my aircraft touched down. That was with Windows 98.Now I have a brand new system with Windows XP and have installed FS2002. However, the runway markings do not show up on the ground anymore. Not happy with the night cockpit lighting in your DC-3?Using notepad, add this:Day=255,255,255Night=100,75,0Luminous=200,200,100to the bottom of the text in your panel.cfg file.It will remove that bright overhead lighting look and reduce the panel to a soft instrument lighted glow. Much easier on the eyes when night flying.I haven't tried this with any other aircraft so in that regard, you're on your own. Easily removed though if it doesn't work out.Of course, those numbers can be tinkered with to get different desired results.Cheers!Heather

I was just wondering what the cab files in the gauges directory are for, as they seem to be in .xml format. What are they for and more importantly, I guess, do I need to unzip them into the gauges folder, or can they be deleted. Regards Chris

Hi!I've recently upgraded from Windows ME to Red Hat Linux 7.2 and now can't run FS2002 as a native program. I've tried Wine (WINdown Emulator) which should allow me to use Windows programs under Linux. Unfortunately, Wine doesn't support version 7.2 very well, or at all, and now I'm stuck with no FS. That's a problem for my airline - CEO doesn't have FS!I'm on Linux now, not that you can tell. Does anybody know how to run FS2002 in RHL 7.2? Should I use the advantages of Linux (being open-source) to make a piece of software to run FS in? We could pioneer and I'll be the originator of the 'FS in Linux' age. I've installed FS Scene Europe, FSLandclass Europe and I really like the textures that it brings. My question is, how can I use Lennart's textures, but make them only usable in the U.S. and Canada, and not over my FS Scene textures. Anyone know how I can do that?thanksLobaeux

Hi!I have a question that I need to have an answer for.If a target does not show up on the radar screen despite the fact that it is within the radar beam, the reason could be:A: The target is smaller than ten times the wave lenght.B: The attenuation of the radar pulse in the atmospher, especially if it is raining.C: The target is approaching the radar station head on.D: The target is using a VHF radio transmitter which disorts the radar pulse.Would appriciate answers that explains why the one selected is correct.Best regards and truly thankful!Per Tufvesson

Is there a way to add CFS2 aircraft as AI in 2K2?I can use the flyables in CFS2 in FS2K2, lots of fun. But adding them, and the AI aircraft from CFS2 into FS2K2 causes TTools to reject them. It says the aircraft # is invalid.Any thoughts?Much obliged!Rick
