I have recently taken active attention to the fact that since the Splash Screen Randomizer (SSR) by DreamFleet has come out, that most uploads to sites such as Avsim and Flightsim have been replacement splash screens...I have created a template similar to DreamFleet's, but with the CFS2 logo on it. I am currently working on getting SSR to work in CFS2, but no luck as of yet. I have asked cooperation from DreamFleet in modifying this. My request has been declined by Lou Betti, but said to ask Tom Main.I am looking into this.S!Ridge

Hi.I finished my repaint on Lou volland's B707 and send him an E-mail to ask permission for uploading it.but after about 5 day's he didn't answer me!.i tought maybe his e-mail address([email protected]) has been changed.If anyone know any other address of him please let me know.

Do anyone have a solution for floating gears on FS2002.I was so worried that I e-mailed Microsoft to report it.They recognized this Charachteristic but they didn`t answered anymore.

Hi! I am thinking about doing a fresh install of FS2k2 and since I have an abundance of addons (sceneries, textures, meshes, aircrafts and so forth), when I uninstall it will the files not originally part of FS 2002 be deleted or remain? I remember doing this sometime ago and I forgot what happened. Thanks!Julian

I was not entirely happy with FS2002's performance with a newly purchased GF4 Ti4600 128mb so I installed and ran this program. I've downloaded this airport scenery from the Avsim / Greece site but have noticed that the taxiway edge markings / centrelines / taxiway signs do not appear at all. Everything else is fine - has anyone else seen this as it is supposed to be one of the features?

Hi all, Today, I tried to make an archive copy of my MS2k Pro CD's so that I can store the originals off-site [something I try to do with all my software-prevents catastrophes]. Anyway, when I tried to install as a check, FS2K2 gave a message that it was 'unable to verify the media' and would not go any further. Has anyone else tried this and had the same error message?? Does any one know why when landing an aircraft on the runway, or ground,or water, it stops abruptly. i think it happened to me in fs98 but i cant remember the cause.Thanks knute

Yes...what a big difference! As you real pilots would attest, I still may not be able to experience the actual feel of flying an aircraft but at least my arms, hands (and now legs) are going through the right mechanical motions (or at least endeavouring to) :-) Now that I have all the controls I've been spending a fair bit of time in the Sopwith Camel. All I can say is I need a lot more practice. I haven't actually detroyed it yet, but I think my mechanic would have needed to do a fair bit of undercarriage maintenance over the last two days :-eek I'm using the pedals in combination with the Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick. Some time ago I made a series of FSNav plans for a round-the-world trip and exported them to 2K2 format, so that I could call them up in the flight planner. I made these plans with a Learjet in mind, and thus I set out on the first two or three legs with just that plane. However, for some reason I just cannot really feel at home in that plane, since I try to imagine I would really have to live and feel comfortable in that plane if it wasn't only a virtual trip. Therefore I am thinking about starting all over again. But before I do so, let's do a little poll :-) ... Thanks to FSD for a fantastic and free plane.The plane is pretty hot on the landings and must be close to reality.I suggest flying the Fouga Magister primary jet trainer first.To make the sounds more realistic try tranferring the whole sound package from the Magister. You will be thrilled...Good flying !
