Hello,When I'm flying with autopilot on (FS2k2), but without any of the HDG or ALT buttons on, I am not able to turn at all. It just keeps the plane level at all times. Also, the second I turn off the AP, the aircraft goes beserk - going into a spin and diving straight down. It didn't do that in FS200. Am I doing soemthing wrong or is there a bug with autopilot. I am using the default cessna and mooney aircrafts.

I was just looking around only to discover that there are virtually no quality DVD's/documentaries for low & slow aircraft or GA flight in general, Cessnas, Pipers, Bonanzas, etc. That's very diappointing, but I wonder, how many of you guys are actually like me and prefer flying the low & slow aircraft as opposed to heavy iron? I don't want to fly too fast and miss the scenery ;-) Feedback welcome, on both whether or not there may be some DVD's on the subject or your experiences as a lil' GA pilot.Oh yeah, and how many of you guys have done round-the-world flights in the lil' guys? Is there a way to add the new A340 as an AI aircraft?

I'm not sure that this has been dealt with, but I've finally grown irritated with this mouse effect: every time I click on my panel to set any thing, it pauses Fs2002 for a second.So, what starts out smooth and fluid becomes interrupted as I start to configure the Aircraft for TO or landing. Has anyone else had a similar confict? Is It some thing in the sim or can I blame my mouse?! Cheers!

Hello,I like to do intercontinental flights with the FS 2002 (German version). My preferred take-off airport is Frankfurt, Germany, from where I fly to Calgary, Alberta or Vancouver, B.C.I am using the default 777 for these flights, I use the autopilot and GPS, fly at 38 000 feet and circa 0.83 Mach. I don't use any time acceleration, I fly with normal velocity.Sometimes, when I am finishing the flight and when I'm circa 150 nm away from my destinations, I open the Map tool and then I get a blue screen. HiToday I am taking my first long flight in more then 2 years. Once at cruise altitude I get bored staring at the gauges for hours. How do I let FS2002 Pro run in the background while I go on the internet?I made it into windowed mode and I made the window small (1/4 of the scrren size) and I put in the corner so I can keep an eye on it. It works fine but when I open another window for the internet the FS window disables Hardware Acceleratoin and the graphics look like FS5. That's not too much problem because I can still see what's going on but when I open the internet window then there is no more sound coming from FS. I need sound to hear the ATC talking to me. Hey Guys,So far, the support from the flight simulation community has been phenominal. So far, we have passed 17GB of data transfer for the Airbus 340-600 alone, so I trust that you all are enjoying it, and I hope that it was worth the wait, while we developed and refined the aircraft.Now on to my point. With happiness, comes dissapointment I guess, as some have privatley (and publicly in some places), bashed our aircraft. Now, personally, I have no problem whatsoever with comments and constructive critisism, it only helps me to do better with everything that I make, and I am sure the team feels the same way. Hi allCould someone please help with a little bit of advice?Over at viatech.com there are update files under the headings of BIOS and Drivers and the drivers section has two files under it described as 4 in 1 and Audio.If I were to go for updating my drivers do I need do download all of these? I don't want to go messing with the BIOS if I don't have to as it is working fine for me.Also, audio is fairly self-explanatory but what do the 4 in 1 drivers do?Thanks for any help.David

Is it just me or does the A346 by Simubuild need a different air file ?..because its to touchy to anything, and i cant even land it without crashing because when i get to landing speeds the nose wants to dive? matt

It's been over a year since I last played a little bit with fs2000 and I have since then forgotten pretty much everything about flight simming. As someone who has just installed fs2k2, I am looking for the really must have (free) downloads such as patches (if any), some really good freeware aircraft, gauges, panels, texture files etc. I know there is tons of great stuff in the library, but surely there must be some list which could tell us what is *really* worth downloading (from a newbie's perspective).

I am in the middle of a IFR 747 flight from KRNO to KLAX. Right now I am level at 33000 heading 100 - not exactly near my flight plan or in general direction of KLAX. I am almost 130 miles ouf of KRNO now.Anyone experience this? Should be patient and wait for ATC?Thanks,Myles

Could someone help me please, as my FS2002 is crashing since a week and no one (in Compaq, XP or Creative labs) seems to know about my problem.I run FS2002 on a Pentium 4, on Windows XP, with 516mb memory, using a Creative TI4400 graphic card.
