Hi all.Downloaded Antti Pankkonen's brilliant Dauphin last weekend and have found that when ever I operate the wheels the sim pauses for a moment.Has any one else found this and whats the cure?Thanks for your helpBobIsle of WightEngland:)

I decided to take the short field test with the simubuild 340-600. I went to Meigs. I had all 5 tanks topped, full flaps, full up trim, full power, full aft yoke and held brakes until I reached 100%.....somehow I got off the ground! All that happened was I scrapped the entire bottom of the tail. As soon as I was off the ground I raised the flaps fully and got the gear up, then nosed it over for 10 sec and then put it into a 20 deg climb......I was up at 25000ft in about 1 min!!

Would any of Fs meteo users please send me a sample weather file with world weather downloaded using 'download weather and disconnect' option. Any file would do. OK, we had several people join up for the final leg of the ATW challenge and i'm not going to name names as I know i'll miss some one, sorry ;-)We departed EGCF and flew south at 4000 feet at 180 knots. We decided to have the baton land last so i did a few flyby's as everyone landed at Heathrow. After everone landed I came in on full manual control with a crappy frame rate and everone watching me ;-)))made it down and handed the baton to security, gave me a bretholizer (I think I passed) ;-)Then we went to the bar in the good ole tradition of America West! Hello,I purchased the Dreamfleet DF737 but I think the exterior model is eating up frames. So that's why I am looking for an alternate B737 to go with the DF737 panel. Maybe somebody out there has some tips for me, I would be very thankfull. Regards Frank.By the way, I allready tried the AFG 737 and I am not really comfortable with it.

I consider acquiring RealityXP and would very much appreciate comments from persons that are already using this addon. Any aspect of the program such as stability and handling, how it affects the running of FS2002, frame rates, compatibility etc. Are the XP panels simply displayed on top of the FS2002 aircraft panels and possible to displace/ remove to display underlying FS2002 panels?Mats B

Hi,I have FS2002, a MS Precision pro (USB) joystick and and MS Precision Steering Wheel... I was wondering if I could get the pedals that came with the wheel to work as rudders in FS2002. In the control menu it only lets you select either controller, but not both - so I cant assign the rudders to the wheel. Any ideas? Maybe a module or a different driver. I'm using Windows XP.ThanksRyan

Much has been written concerning PF2000 and getting it to work with FS2002. Having just accomplished the task. I must say it is a delight to have this program functional once again. In my opinion, FS2002 ATC is ok for GA within the U.S. However, for the serious long-range international guy, PF2000 is a must with the various international carriers and the appropriate accents. Afterall, U.S. Southern accents don't really cut it when your somewhere in the Indian Ocean.In addition, realistic altitude assignments are now a welcome relief. At present, a B777 LLBG to KEWR mission is going flawlessly with PF2000 in FS2002. I saw a post the other day where a guy was quite desperat…

I know, there've been a hundred posts on this one, but all the Avsim search engine comes up with for me are loads of posts about Ducks. Must be my aquackic heritage. Sure, I love 'em and waddle a bit myself. But, in the meantime, can anyone remind me if there's any easy fix for the increasing "size" of nav and beacon lights as one moves further away (i.e. in SPOT view) from any given aircraft? Hi there gang,just wonderin' -- dont know it this has been posted before, but many times when I decided to just fly, without much planning or using the preflight flight planner, and If I wanted to do some quick in-flight-planning while paused (FS2002 is sooo convenient :-)) I was forced not to put a navigation plotter on the screen to plot, lets say, an outbound VOR radial to the next intersection. :-) You know, the stuff when you dont need to know the course to a VOR station but need to be on a certain radial of a VOR station to reach an airway/the right route/whatever.So is there a built-in way to do this? A nifty "navgation aids" menu hidden somewhere? Did I miss somet…

Hi All,Trying to locate Tom Parsons, who repainted the KC-135 R which was offered on AVSIM some time ago. Sorry for a question not directly related to flight sims but any answer might be of interest to others here! I just had a crash of my own today. Blue screen of death. So I reinstalled win98 and all the basic goodies, drivers, etc. Does anyone know of a program or way of making an image exact of the c drive (550megs) onto a cd so it can be reinstalled in minutes instead of hours.
