Is there anyone thaqt is willing to help me geet the ai aircraft I've done everything in the menu that I can see,Do I need to go to a busy airport or what?

Hi,I have tried to search through past archives but nothing came up.Is there any way to make the overcast-to-visibility transition any smoother? I mean, when I descend through overcast the base of it seems flat like a table. In real life it is a gradual process. Another issue somewhat related to the above is the gradually changing brightness of the cloud while flying through it. It seems constant to me regardless of whether you're just about to break out on top or below the cloud. Brightness of the cloud should change from very bright near the top to heavy dark close to the base.So, to me, it might be an issue of certain setting I am missing. Your help would be appreciate…

I was hoping that after moving back to the Intel chip (P4 2.2 GHZ) from those hot (temp)AMDs (1800 XP +), I might not see those freeze/lock-ups while flying FS2002.Well that is not the case as this system locks up too. The only thing it does not do is to reboot on it's own as the last one did. The only common items brought over from the old system were the 3Com network card, the Sound Blaster Live audio card, the eVGA Gforce 3 Ti-500 video card, and the files off the hard drive (ghost program but still had to install Windows XP Home over it on the new hd. Hi all,What is the difference between the DC-9 and the MD-82? Looking at pictures, they look the same and have the same flight deck. Continental flies MD-82s. On my last 2 flights, my 737 has covered about 1 mile every 2 seconds -- about 4 times faster than it should. I flew from Austin to Dallas in about 7 minutes. My groundspeed read in the 430 range, and my sim rate (I checked and rechecked) was set at normal. The "normal" sim rate was confirmed by the fact that the clock was running normally.What's the deal?I have no idea what to do. Someone please help.

Hi there, I just downloaded the Challenger 604 from the AVSIM library and it seems that when I load the plane, all it does is just go all over the place in vertical 360's ... I was using GPSout with FS2002 and MS Streets & Trips and all of a sudden Streets and Trips says it's not getting any signal from the GPS receiver. (FS2002)To get it to work to begin with I puchased a PCI card with 2 serial ports which I think became ports 5 and 6. I connected them with a null modem cable and changed the statement in the GPSout.ini file from Port=Com2 (the default) to Port=Com5, and I set Streets and Trips to receive on Com6 and it was working fine.I set the speed in GPSout.ini to 4800.Does anyone know what is wrong causing Streets and trips not to receive a signal?Stationair

Hello!As all of us Geforce 4 MX440 users know, we have had some problems with getting the water/ aircraft reflections and water MOTION working.I have been using the key combination in full screen mode while at the aircraft selection box to get the aircraft reflections working. I downloaded project freeware's A310, & installed it according to the readme, but the textures do not load properly (see below). Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? Thanks!

I've only done a little bit of aircraft painting in my time, but I've always been disappointed at the FS2002... how difficult is it to not repaint, but just change the textures of the default aircraft to the reflective textures? Also, to make the lights look better. I'm tired of the wingtimp lights both being red when the camera is approaching the plane :-( Thanks!Kenneth

Avsim clearly, and righly IMHO, are against their forum being used to encourage the boycotting of FSPlanet.
