Just curious if anybody is doing a paint job of the launch customers first A340-600? There are some great close ups available over at Airliners.net (as if you didn't know that already!)Basically I don't really feel like downloading the one available at Simubuild as I only have a 56K! and I want a Virgin now! Hi all,I just downloaded and installed the A320-111 from Project Airbus and abolutely love the plane.On the website of Project Airbus and in the readme file there is a reference to a seperately available Soundpackage for the aircraft, however when I am trying to follow the links provided on Project Airbus to the AVSIM file library I get the message that the file is no longer available.Has it been moved or is there a problem with it?Thanks for letting me know.

I know this who addon program is based upon these ready made GMAX modelled a/c, but as i've yet to d/l the program, is it possible to add any a/c to the collection that one flies? eg. say the new A340 for example..I know this would effect FPS, but i'm just interested to know if it's possible.ThanksWill

Hey Y'all,I have a problem that has me pinned down, grounded, frustrated etc. I recently rebuilt a system -- complete upgrade of motherboard, video card, processor etc -- to replace the trusty machine I have flown with for many years. FS2002 worked beautifully (but slowly) on the other machine. But when I loaded it on the new system, I now have full engine sound only for the Cessna. All sound files are present. Windows media player is installed. I assume that since the Cessna sound works just fine, I don't have a sound card problem or a volume setting problem etc. It just works with that plane and none of the others. hey guys!!here's my problem: today i bought a msi geforce 4 ti4200 64mb ddr and now i wanna have VERY good settings! so what do you suggest? 1600x1200 with full details? i tried it out at frankfurt/main (german airports 2) and got frames about 27! that was pretty okay. I am a new user of FS2002. I have just downloaded Simubuild's A346. What a wonderful aircraft! However, I cannot see the virtual cockpit when I selected it. From my understanding, Simubuild included the VC in this model.My next question is not related to the previous one. When I fly from KLAX, the textures/skin for the whole terminal building did not show up. I can only see grayish buildings all over the airport. However, the secnery around LA is just fine.Anybody can help me?JAP

Without taking into account cost, which would you guys prefer: 1024 image projected onto a large screen or a higher res image on a 19" monitor?

Hello:I tried posting this in the Hardware conference but with no luck. Any thoughts on using Audigy Platinum with FS2002? Any known problems? Am I better off using the Gigabyte motherboard 4.1 audio?Also anybody have any ideas about minimum specs for a projector capable of providing a decent 1024 image in darkness?Thanks

Hello All,I have been a fan of the FS series for several years. I love freeware ac and have about 3 CDs full of downloaded ac. My problem is the size of FS 2002 on my harddrive. With add-on ac, scenery, panels, etc, my FS footrpint is aroung 3Gigs. This is more space than several of my combat sims combined. Unfortunately, the size of my FS directory is growing at a rate about 10MB per week and I only have 2.3Gigs left. I'm addicted to the freeware aircraft from groups like Posky, FFG, AFG, and other individuals. I plan to add the Saab 340s when they are released. I just can't stop. :) A bigger HD is not in the budget and there are some sims I do not want to remove just ye…

Can anyone tell me what texture it is (name preferably)?I don't want to go through the whole install/patch process just for this one texture. Hi,I tried to fly the default Baron on fs 2002. While climbing out of 4000 ft it seems that I have not enough power to maintain a positive climb rate. With full throttle, max prop rpm, full rich mixture and 300 fpm climb rate I lose speed above 4000 ft until I stall the aircraft. That shouldn't be normal?? At www.raytheonaircraft.com the is a good performance sheet that shows a cruising altitude of 10000 ft -- but how can I reach this altitude??Many thanks for any comment, Thomas.

Just to let everyone know. Airport Chart Viewer works now. At least it works on my Windows 98 machine. I haven't tried it yet on my new Windows Xp machine yet. I just wanted to let everyone know that Manuel Ambulo has put updates for all his programs at "the other site". Go get them. I can't say if the other updates work or not since I only downloaded the chart viewer. It looks to be a worthwhile program to have. I will come back with my findings on Xp as soon as I check it out.I just checked on my Windows Xp machine and I still have a problem there. I've recently coupled the PA A320- with the PSS panel. In the "readme" it tells me to;-To open the other cabin doors and cockpit windows, you must assign them to the Water Rudder, Tail hook and Wing fold located in the Settings/Assignments of FS2002. How do I do that exactly?
