My current specs are as follows:P3 800mhz640MB RAMGeForce 2 MX440 64MB at AGP 2x (My motherboard doesn't do more)SoundBlaster Awe64 Value40GB Harddrive at 7200rpmWhat I want to know is if you think this will improve my framerates in FS and by how much.Using PSS Airbus I can get around 12-18 fps in cruise and around 10 or less while landing. I like to tinker around with my computer a lot and as a result end up formating my HDD every 2-3 months. I am getting tired of having to modify everything again when reinstalling FS2k2. I wanted to know how many people back up their FS and what methods they use to do it.Thanks

I was flying in a route from Moscow to Kiev and a friend of mine sent me a message saying he was "online" also. He said he would catch up with me, but I could not get him on my radar. I could see his plane, but my radar could not!! He told me he found a way to Fly Stealth so that even the Controllers could not see him. I ask the CTR if he could see someone around me and the controller said "NEGATIVE".How is this possible? He did not want to tell me how did he do it, but I was amazed! This could cause problems if someone with this type of set up decides to be childish and mess up someone else's flight.Anybody have any ideas how did he do it?

Do you guys/gals think that a force-feedback yoke is in the works? I think it would be useful to help get acquainted with the use of trim in a more realistic manner. Any thoughts on this subject and FS2002?ThanksRobbie

I've viewed a couple of fs videos in the screen shot forum, and thought it would be neat to save part of a flight and e-mail it to a few friends.The problem is, once I've saved the video and try to view it later, I can't get it to play in "Windows media player", even though the ones I've seen here can be viewed through it.Apparently WMP does not recognize the file.Does anyone know how to convert the video files for viewing on WMP?Thanks for any help!!!

In the airbus i want to have the vc back in economy class...But then things beeing crazy in the cocpit the eyepoint there is also back there so when i should park at the gate from cocpit the half aircraft can be in the terminal.Sorry for my CraZy english ;)

Those instruments make me salivate everytime I check out the site! The prices seem to have gone up but if they really work, I suspect some of us will go that route eventually. Anyone know? I have this image of them being very robotic - not fluid at all. If you made quick control inputs, would it keep up?David

Hi,Can somebody please tell me how the AI traffic works. At major UK airports you get some traffic, not much but at the smaller airfields you get none. Not even a plane on the tarmac!Do microsoft think we Brits have hardly any GA? or have they disabled the settings in some way?I have tried with diferent values but its always the same.Anyone any ideas?Keith

It took me awhile to "discover" taxiwaysigns.com but during an ebb in the release of new stuff, I went ahead and downloaded a few of their files. I have to admit, I fully expected them to bring even my high-end system to its knees like some of those ultra-packed airport scenerys (DFW comes to mind). Well, I was amazed to find that the signs have little or no impact on frame rates! And now I'm addicted to them. There's nothing better than to get your taxi instructions and actually follow the signs to get where you need to go. Dont know why, but, i just turned on my Pc to do some flying and i was getting blue lines vertcally on my monitor.Double check everything and removed and re-installed card but samething. Less than 30 days old? Took it back to best Buy, (No Hassles) did not have another but then i was worried about it so i went for the visionTech Xtasy Ti 4600 for a few bucks more (Wife said ok) Now all is well. Dont know if anybody else encounterd this with this card but? Oh well......Ed;)

Hello, I love the AI planes at my airports. The problem is that the jets aren't "attached" to the gates/concourses. I thought there was an application or something of the like that would create jetways running from the buildings to the jets. Can anyone help me?-pb4ugo

For some reason when I create/load a flight plan and I choose my departure airport...after I'm finished with the plan and I click OK it goes to that other window and does not change my location to that airport..It always used to. I find myself having to place my current position manually. Anyone have any fix for this or know why this happens?Thanks, ROBBYG

Hi one and all,It's been a while since the Debonair has been released, and a VC update, but rest assured, the VC is coming very very soon. Although it's not the greatest, and the gauges are a little "muddy", it will still be able to be read :-)One of the major things that I've done is enhanced and made the textures a bit more realistic (not dirty, but just cleaned).I've made various enhancements to the model as well, such as new figures in the external view (which are kindly being made by a good mate of mine ;-)), and a few other surprises to be found ;-)In the VC, there will also be a couple of extra surprises...but only if your good boys and girls :-lolSo sit tight, and…
