I've had it up to high heaven now with this joystick. I've tried absolutely everything thats possible to sort out the dodgy, flucuating digital rudder axis readouts, but with no success. FSUIPC, Saitek configuration programs, null zones etc.... THE LOT!It's amazing to think that i've had the patience with it from the time FS2002 came into the market!It USE to work fine with FS2000 - the best joystick for the job, NOW its so C**P with FS2002 that i've given up with it. I'm going to disable the Rudder axis on the joystick and resort to buying some rudder pedals (at least then i'll be able to control an a/c on the ground!).I haven't setup the rudder axis on the rotary axis b…

There are so many great freeware/payware projects available for us. But I have a question?Why is nobody doing a 757?The 757 seems to have been overlooked for the longest time. We have 2 high quality A320 packages available. Plus 767 pilot in command, the PSS 777 stuff etc.Am I the only one longs for a great 757 package?cheers!!

I've noticed with the -500's and -600's that looking back over the right wing to engine no. 3, that the fan is off centre, and instead of spinning like the rest, it osolates.Also is there any chance that a fan disc at high rpm could be worked into future updates as it looks very odd when the engine is running to see the individual discs.Anyhow, can't stay here too long, got to get back into the air with these great aircraft.AK

All,Now since we are coming up on our 1 year anniversary of FS2002, I was hoping to see some pretty amazing add-ons. Well, MS has yet to release the Scenery SDK so that might be a bit tough on developers.In any case, the clouds in FS2002 are still a little off. FS Clouds 2000 was awesome! Has anyone been able to add/replace FS2002 clouds?Any news on a clouds add-on?Tim

Hi all,I have just recently started flying with Vatsim and i must say it makes an already realistic hobby much more enjoyable. I have one problem though. My ISP. I currently use BTOpenworld which is good and fast but they have a 2 hour cut-off policy (Whether your connection is busy or not). As you can imagine this is quite frustrating. Cany anyone recommend a good ISP which does not have this policy, Cable and ADSL are not yet available in my area so are not an option. Thanx for any replies.BMA69EGPH

But now that DF has cancelled their A340 project, and they havent cancelled the 727, that means we have to make ours the best it can be in both versions. I have a dial-up connection and I was wondering if you were planning to re-release the Virgin Atlantic A346 as a smaller package. In the screenshot forum awhile back, someone mentioned they were able to remove the mip-maps & reduce the file size from 24mb to 4.9mb. If you aren't going to release it smaller, is it OK for someone to e-mail me a reduced size package? I love the A345 & A346. I hope I'm not coming accross as being unsatisfied or asking an impossible request from you guys. If you don't want to re-release the livery, then don't. :) Sorry if this has already been addressed. Someone posted a problem with a geforece 4600 and my problem is even worse! I did have a 1.4 Ghz AMD with a geforce2 ultra and I now have an AMD XP2100+ with a Leadtek geforce 4600. Well, my frame rate on med. settings averaged about 30 if I remember now it is a whopping2.5 fps!! This is with the high preset settings so I set it to the lowest setting and it dropped to 1.6 fps. Call it a hunch but I think there is something wrong somewhere. It appears that there is no hardware acceleration or something strange like that.The Leadtek card has a utility that lets you tweak most settings on the card and I did run 3DMark with the default benchmark and got a 10000. A few days ago, David Lee mentioned a couple of features of FS4 that are now gone. Is this another?? I recall a version in which you could preset a flight to end with a display of the plane's vertical and forward speeds upon landing, during the last few seconds of flight, nicely plotted and with the actual vertical speed upon touchdown indicated below the plot. Now...it seems the Flight Analysis choice under "options" gives the plot in tiny form, but no vertical touchdown rate. What's tantalizing is that if you go into the online help at that point, there is reference to a "landing analysis" that does give that rate, but alas, I can't find it anywhere! Am I missing s…

Hi friends,I read the posts about the blurry textures, but before I fiddle around with Image tool, I thought I did ask the experts for some clarifications.1. Blurry textures means the textures are granular (or grainy so as to say) and affect both the aircraft and the scenery. Is that correct? Also there are some portions of the scenery especially that at a distance that do not appear grainy.2. When I first installed FS2002 and had only the default aircraft, I never had such blurred textures. 3. The first add on was IADG Indian Airlines which worked fine without problems.4. OK, Sort of a secondary post to the previous post asking if Photoshop was free LOL ;-))I'm very proficient with Photoshop and feel I could do some nice repaints of my own, but everytime I try to open the texture .bmp files it says Photoshop could not "Parse" the file or something like that.Is there a trick to opening up these files in Photoshop?Thanks!
