I see that FS2002 has a more realistic pushback feature that is a great improvement of the FS2000 version, by not having to go into slew mode, and lose the sound of the aircraft. Quite a few panels have the Pushback gauge, which gives you various pushback options. Can this gauge be modified to not use the "slew" action, and mimic the "Shift P" and No1 and 2 keys? Sorry if this is such a simplistic question, as I am not a gauge programmer. Cheers Chris

I have been having a problem with the text display in flight sim 2002. My text tends to look garbled. Not exactly corrupt, but almost unreadable.This occurs with all of the ATC, ATIS messages and multiplayer text that rolls across the top of the screen. It doesn't affect the multiplayer chat window. (it seems very strange)I thought I saw something about this on a forum somewhere.If it makes a difference, I am using a Riva TNT2 and WinXP.PLease help me. I am almost loing my mind because of this.

I've noticed that the virtual cockpit in the MS B737-400 has an apparent issue. The gauges are all there are readable OK, but the background to the panel that the gauges sit on has lost all of it's definition, it almost looks like something out of FS4 :) . Anyone seen this before? I've made no changes at all to this FS2002 stock a/c, other than add some textures for various repaints (which also means modifying or changing the aircraft.cfg file). I have a few monitors at my disposal. I want to put a monitor on each side of my main monitor, so I have side views out of the cockpit at all times. Is this possible? Do I need to have a computer that powers these as well, and if so, how do I network them?thanks!!!!

I have just finished flying into Thoise (Z13Q), India using flight plan 37RTWest (soon to be available at Avsim) when it occurred to me that it most be one of the highest airports in FS2K2. On sniffing about in FS2K2 however I came upon El Alto International (SLLP) Peru at 13,313 ft. beating Thoise (Z13Q) which is a mere 10,499 ft. Does anyone out there know of any airports in FS2K2 that are higher, dirt, grass, international ILS equipped or not, only that it should be in the default FS2K2 database?Cheers, Denis. I've just visited Gary Summons site and if you look on the "NEWS" page, he has posted some of his work with a BETA version of this upcoming UK photographic scenery made by Visual Flight.It looks stunning with his work blending into the surrounding fields; check it out http://www.uk2000scenery.bizland.com/puplic/index.htm .The only think i'm not exactly too sure on is the quality of this photographic scenery, it looks quite poor from low levels (looks like 8 bit to me, and obviously to conserve HD space and FS loading time). Hi, I have been trying to connect to join to other people's ip's in fs, but fs freezes, and I have to do a ctrl+alt+del manuever to shut off FS. I can host but other people can't connect. I have shut down my firewall but still no luck. I don't know what to do.? I dont know if i should contact Microsoft, or Compaq..? I probably have to pay Microsoft a lot just to contact them. My other games connect perfectly with no problem, i dont know what it is. What do you guys think? I dont know what else to do? Thanx in advance. Pedro

Ok, I need to know if its possible to make the amount of traffic at any givin airport up to a realistic amount. I am at Philadelphia airport a lot, mostly in the mornings around 8:00 am. Now, in the game, there is traffic, but I am usually Number 1 or 2 to take off. In real life, 8:00 am is busy hour at Philly, and you wait at least 20 minutes to take off. I have the traffic setting at 100%, but still I get very sparse traffic. Can anyone help me out?My second question is how can I make the traffic (and ATC for that matter) a little smarter. Sometimes planes just kinda sit in front of the runway and don't do anything, so I end up having to go around the plane in order to …

Hi Folks,Could I ask what most people see as 'acceptable' frame rates for FS2002. The reason, I have a new PC - XP2000, 512 mb, nvidia 64mb card and with all the settings at max I get the following:1. Flying across country 29-302. Flying over non-US cities ie London - 15-203. Flying over US cities 27-304. Taxi-way at Major airports - 10 - 15I have the framelock set at 30 - the default.Now whilst I am quite happy with the frame rates, sometimes the images do flicker a wee bit.So i was just interested really.Cheers,Keith
