  3. I don't know what happened. It simply won't accept anything with CTRL or SHIFT commands (i.e. CTRL+E for engine start).I removed FSUIPC and has nothing to do with that.I tried my keyboard on text editor and it works fine.I did not change anything in my OS (WinXP) during the last days.Kyprianos Biris :-cool[link:avsim.com/greece/hvacc]Hellenic vACChttp://vatsim-eur.org/images/VATSIM-EURs.gif

Hi, I have been recently flying Tom Miller and Richard Ward's D50 which is superb but I was wondering if anyone's Com 2 radio was operating. The installation instructions say that it is newly operable in this model for FS2002 but all I have is the gauge and although the radio master control instrument indicates that is is on I get nothing but the blank gauge. Been playing around with reinstalling and the cfg. file but with no success. Thanks a lot,Joe Hallstein

  10. I am no techie, have no abilities to design and make scenery, aircraft...etc...merely an interested and long time user with an enormous respect for those who designed the original program and those who have given us the great add ons.My, question, with the above stated, is What is the Future of Scenery Development? Even the best that there is has a cartoonish quality. This is not a criticism, but an observation of what I see as the present level of technology. Yes, there are some "photorealistic" sceneries. But, even those somehow do not look 100% real, as if we were flying in a photograph, or more accurately in a motion picture. When do you think the technology will be a…

Well, thank you all for you recommendations. I've been stuck on IL-2 now for the past 2 days, logging at least 10 hours already of flight time. This sim surpassed all of my expectations (which were fairly high initially). Thank you all again. Here is my first kill. Earl

This SB Live! 5.1 is driving me crazy. The WindowsXP drivers for it stink. I get static and crackling sounds in FS2002 and other games. Planes with panels that have sound, the panel sounds don't work. If I disable hardware acceleration it all works fine. The card worked fine when I was running Windows ME. I've been going back and forth with Creative tech support, and I've tried everything they suggested and then some. I went to the point of removing all PCI devices and trying the SB in each slot. I've read other posts here and elsewhere of people having similar problems with the Live! and Audigy cards under XP.Anyway, my question is what are the alternatives to Soun…

I almost think we need a forum just for the new DASH 8-300!! What an intense airplane! Oleksiy F. could have charged a bunch for this airplane seeing as how much work and detail he put into it. After figuring out how to fly it, it is now my favorite airplane! Wow!

Hi,I am running a p500Mhz with 128mb of Ram and 16mb graphics card. I get resonable performance from fliight simulator but i have problems with visability. When set to a low visablility all i see is the sky, then the groung with a single line seperating them. There is no effect of haze like i have seen on a friends 'higher spec' computer. Can anyonre tell me if it is possible for me to achieve this and ifso what i have to do. Thanks,Graham

What is the best buy for use with Flight Simulator? MicrosoftsFF stick or the non FF precision pro 2 stick? From other threadsI have understood that FF has advantages (better realism when trimming stalling landing) but also disadvantages like problems when disengaging the autopilot and erratic forces.I know there is forces in real aircraft so a non FF stick is unrealistic in this regard. But does the problem with FF outweightthe advantages so to make it overall less realistic?
