W98, NVidea GeForce2 MX200Is it best to set display settings in driver dialogs under advanced properties for DirectX3d, Open GL, etc.; in the FS Display Settings panel; or both. Does one cancel the other? Are there conflicts?I see many same setting options in both places and I want to insure the display adapter does the work, not the mobo cpu.Thanks.

Hello there,I am looking for a scenery for the Island of Mallorca (Baleares). I know there are a few commercial products available from aerosoft, the Baleares scenery and the Dus 2001 scenery. Can anybody tell me whether these products show a good representation of the island (not only the airport)? HiSomething different for the Gurus out there.I have Windows XP Professional and I have deleted a program (Photoshop 6.0) instead of removing it via the Add/remove programs in the control panel. When I go now to the Add/remove section, the program is listed there. Is there a way you can remove it?

I love jfk also my hometown airport is newark ewr which simflyers did :D thanks simflyers. now heres the thing you want jfk then you need to give www.simflyers.net info and detail photos of jfk the best you can get and am 100% sure they will do it the qustion is now who can get good photos and information from jfk?? it has to be somone with good access and that works in the airport lets hope we see this great airport some time in the future :D

Just chasing a twin turbo for fs2002 standard.All the ones I see are only for the pro edition and either use the default panels or sounds or gauges etc . I am probably being lazy but was hoping to get a complete freeware model .

Is there a way to control the playback speed of a Flight Video. I just made a video of a circuit of Konotop Airbase in Capt Sim's MiG-21 but on replay it is like watching a VCR playing in Fast Forward. There does not seem to be a way to reduce the playback to normal. I tried both 1 sec interval and 1/4 sec but the result is the same. The replay takes about 15 seconds and the FSR file is about 1.5 meg. Any ideas anyone?

If you could choose just one aircraft addon to be developed, with all the bells and whistles (fully functional panel, FMC where applicable, virtual cockpit, Gmax design etc etc), what would it be?Putting aside those that are currently in the pipeline from various developers, my vote would have to be equally split between a 757 and a 737NG.

This is such an improvement I thought I better post it one more time for those who missed it. Disable AGP in DirectX and you most likely will improve the subtle but annoying stutters that can happen despite a high end machine. I'm not talking too much about FPS, just stutters. Works super! Noel

When an ATC controller, usually the clearance controller, says - "...expect FL 390 10 mins after departure...." Hi All,Running FS this evening I saw the strangest AI incident. I had just landed at KATL testing out a new EMB 120, and I had just stopped after entering the taxiway, when I noticed this AI 737 at the end of the runway, preping for takeoff. ATC had instructed him to 'hold-short' on my final approach, and now, with clearance, he was moving down the runway for takeoff. Right about Vr, I noticed the 737 bobble, gain a slight bit of altitude, bobble again and crash heavily back onto the runway, flames, sparkes all flying in his wake. The aircraft then continued to skid along the ground for what the red lables stated was almost 10 miles.I fired up the EMB, took off and he…

Why, may I ask, are people so hostile towards WILCO's new products? I've bought their 737 for FLY and it has got to be one of the best addons for FLY perhaps even any flightsim ever. Their Airport2000 hit the frames hard but I got some nice aircraft and panels to play with including some excellent adventures. Have I missed something important?

Has anyone figured out a way to set FS to auto-reply to ATC, or at least extend the amount of time it gives before cancelling your flight plan? It's annoying on long flights after setting the AP and FMC to have to keep checking in on the flight to make sure you don't miss a call and then find out that ATC has cancelled your flight plan.Thanks in advance,JD

NVIDIA just released a new version of it's stereovision drivers, and THE VIRTUAL COCKPIT NOW WORKS IN STEREO MODE! It makes a huge, huge difference. It's hard to describe just how immersive the VC is with 3D glasses - the yolk, the throttle levers, buttons - they all pop out and give you an accurate sense of depth. There are edges on several VCs that I never knew existed until I viewed them in stereovision. HiI've exoewrinced this a couple of times. Using the real weather tool from fs2k2, and certainly after a weather base change, i suddenly get an altitud change read very strange. For example, i was flying today on a 777 going from 22000 ft for FL370, and suddenly the altitud redout was 2500 ft!, then atc started saying please expedite your climb to FL370. The thing is that there was no physich change in the aircraft altitude, but just in the redout. Anyone experinced this before, how to avoid it if possible

Hi all,Sinse yesterday fs2k2 have started acting up. at random times the sim stops responding and pops up an error screen stating a problem with SIM1.dll. and will send a report to Microsoft.I rember seeing somewhere that the file can be relaced from one of the installation cd's. anyone noticed that the laters PA A320 models are a bit underpowerd or maybe on the heavy side.i do have the original A320 in airbus colors and that one doesnt seem to have that problem.i downloaded the america west one thats here on avsim and for some reason it just acts like its underpowerd or heavy. my fuel i know was good so i know i wasnt overweight. i was well below it.but on the climb out it just had some major drag. i checked the spoilers and flaps. all were in order. during my climb it just started losing alot of speed. i was at 170 KIAS at FL180 when i shouldve been climbing at 300 KIAS.i was supposed to level out at FL370 but i made the decision to level out at…
