horray, finally a quality airbus cockpit :-) i was looking on the wilco website and found the A320 Pilot in Command - it looks amazing!!! i hated the pss airbus because it didn't feel real, the view point was totally screwed up.Does anyone have any more screenshots of the pic airbus?Also I find it real hard in the current Virtual Cockpits to move around. I hope they include some shortcuts so you can switch straight to a view of the fmc or a landing view.

I was interested in posting some shots and also uploading a file but I can't figure out how to resize pictures. Also, how would you change a JPEG to a GIF? I would like to include a thumbnail with my upload. Thanks for any help!Eric

I recently upgraded my ELSA card video drivers using ELSA packaged drivers. They work fine, but now when I used saved situations, I find that on approach into certain airports (with saved wx from FS2002 or FSMeteo), my visibility changes randomly to UNLIMITED from whatever is set in the FS2002 wx dialogue box. So it can go from 10mi vis at 3000 to unlimited vis at 2500 feet and stay that way till t/d.However, vis seems (I think!) to be OK when I use FSMeteo-set wx either online or in a downloaded format.Can anybody help me with this strange and annoying phenomenon?Thanks!JS

Sorry to post here but I cant get on LAGO's forum.Has anyone adjusted the black box settings for touchdown and fuel. I Touchdown in the PSS Airbus at 400fpm and I get penalized. I think that an adequate TD for an airliner. I also have been getting penalized for fuel being low. My last flight I had 4.7 FOB left and the manual say a minimum of 1.6. So I dont know if I am way off here or that the Black Box setiings are a little touchy. If anyone has I deas I would love to hear them.Thanks Andrew

Hi,For some strange reason, my CH USB rudder "goes to sleep" every 10 minutes...when that happens, I unplug the device and plug it back in to get it working again.I use Win XP Professional. What could be wrong ?Thanks in advance for your advice.Twister

I know the GeForce 4 Go series are superior, but the laptop models with the GeForce fitted come with a much higher pricetag here in the UK, so I was interested to see Dell's new 4150 series are available with the Mobile Radeon 7500 chip.Anyone successfully using a laptop with the 7500 chip for flightsim?

Hi,I was thinking of purchasing the VisionTek Xstasy GeForce4 Ti 4600. Yesterday, I see the review on the Avsim front page regarding the match up between that and the ATI Radeon 9700. The Radeon beat the Visiontek by quite a margin. Now it looks as if the Radeon would be the better card for about the same price.I now have a ATI Radeon 64MB DDR card and want to upgrade to the either one of the two cards mentioned. CH seem to have something of a monopoly with their Yoke and I begin to wonder if that's a bad thing in terms of complacency in quality control.I admit I have had bad luck and perhaps I shouldn't be so quick to whinge. My first displayed uncommanded control deflections (both in flight and in Windows calibration utility) and the replacement won't permit full control deflection (like when you do your 'full and free' checks) without the internal tension springs catching something, making 'boing' noises and refusing full travel.What's been your experience - good and bad?I am sure glad CH deliver this product - we'd be the worse without it - but if there is a definate ground sw…

On Saturday I was emailed by a Landclass Assistant user, who asked why a "crack" to my program was appearing on Morpheus and WinMX (among the more popular file sharing programs). First, Landclass Assistant and Autoland 2002, both of which are hosted on this site, are both freeware. No "crack" is needed for either....I did some research, installed WinMX, and did a search. Sure enough, I found a user by an odd name of "revengeandfear666" hosting a LC Assistant "crack." One of the things I enjoy most about having a PPL is the opportunity to take someone up on their first small plane ride. Yesterday I took up the 15-year old son of my best friend. Before flying for real I fired up FS2002 and let him "fly" it for a while so he could get an idea of what to expect. I'm thinking of upgrading my controller setup. This is what I've currently been using for years:CH Flightstick Pro (Gameport) & CH Pro Rudder Pedals (Gameport).I'm pretty happy with the current setup but I'd like more buttons and a 8-way hat switch (my flightstick has only a 4-way hat). The joystick is also getting a bit old and isn't totally smooth/precise. I used to have a CH Virtual Pilot Pro (gameport yoke), and while the concept was nice, the motion of the axes were not smooth and it did not mount well either.Could anyone that has owned both the Virtual Pilot Pro and the newer USB yoke compare the two? Hi all,I've got Airport 2000 v3 and I'm having trouble with Paris Orly. All the taxiways and aprons have uneven surfaces and all my aircraft crash while taxiing.I've emailed Wilco on this (but just recently) but I was wondering if any of you guys know of this and have a fix/workaround.Cheers,Ian

Hi all, to make it short, when I click 'Host' in the MP window FS immediately vanishes. You know, if that lil' smiley down there was my FS, and the UFO is my Host button... :-lol Ya know what I mean... Just NO idea why. Asked about this before but no response..after about 7 or 8 minutes of flying and several changes to spot plane view the ac textures and some ground textures fill in slowly..I see the outline of the ac and then the paint job fills in..takes nearly a second..system is AMD900 with 512 megs ram and Geforce 3 64mb video card. I've changed every setting I can in the sim and a good many in setup. Any suggestions anyone? JamesJ
