Hi guys, hi Heather,I do not know what it is. I have been using her on shorter runways and little airports a lot lately. But the rollout almost takes as long as with a 737 so I normally end up on meadows or in a tree. Does this thing use a different brake sensitivity, or something. Cuz when I apply full brakes with my CHpedals it does not seem to do anything.No prob with any other plane though.Does it have reverse? The F2 key does nothing.Pls help. I hate to get in the slew mode after every landing ;-).Alex

I installed Heather's Grumman Duck and now FS2k2 has gone crazy!! For some reason, when I start a flight in the Duck, the plane (even if it's not running) is thrown into a spin about 1000' off the ground and then I slam into the ground and the process starts all over. Does my computer hate this plane? I really really want to fly it too!!! Any suggestions guys/gals??

Hi All,Been away a long time from FS and was using FlyII. Now back because of enormous variety and quality of aircraft/scenery/ add-ons. Problem: Out of Date with just about everything.Solution: Would really appreciate inputs giving me the BEST airliner, best helicopter, best GA aircraft and panels.System: Athlon 1.3 512 Mb DDR Ram 19 Inch Monitor Blaster Titanium 128Mb 4600, (650Mhz, DDR,AGP)Only get about 17 fps with sliders favouring the right hand side.There is so much info and expertise out there in FS world - I hope you can point me in the right direction,KD

Excuse my naiveness on this subject but what does AFCAD actually do?I downloaded AFCAD - imported a file for LLBG Tel Aviv cos I plan to there tomorrow. I saved & opened up FS and found there was no change in scenery for LLBG - is it not meant to add gates? Or does it just add more 'gates' that you can select through the 'Go to airport' menu? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?Please explain! :-)On this subject does anyone know of any FS2K2 scenery for LLBG Ben Gurion?Thanks

Well, after extensive and exhausting research I found the clue to this.My method is based on a principle that I developped for restaurants. When you are very hungry and your are waiting for ur meal to be served and nothing happens, and the waitress has passed you by like 25 times, I do the following. I light a cigarette and start somking. 30-60 seconds after having that cigarette lit the meal wil be served.Over the last few days I experienced that a similar principle applies to FS2002. When you save your flights regularly let us say every 15-20 minutes FS2002 will not crash. If you do not save your flight, your flightplan, FMC data etc. Fs2002 will become very unstable an…

hey, I am currently really enjoying using this PAI, as my AI source, BUT I still get Default AI which kill my FPS from -lets say- 10-> 3fps. Hi, there is this "feature" in FS2002 that really bothers me.If you have a FF stick, fly manually up to cruise altitude and then let the plane accelerate a bit and engage the autopilot, then let go of the stick. What happens is that when you let go of the stick, the Force Feedback is turned off, because most FF sticks have a sensor of some kind. Ok? So far, yes.When you then reach for the stick again, FF is turned on, but the trim forces have changed since you let go of it, and it goes crazy and causes the plane to pitch down and up violently, it's like a a roller coaster ride.Is there any way I can fix this? Not strictly flightsim related, but it does hinder my scenery design!I just bought a new system (just a few components) and have a problem, which I hope maybe someone here can help. (P4 2GHz, GF4 4400 Ti, 256RAM, ASUS P4S333/C Mobo). I run XP, but that seems secondary, I got this problem just when installing XP from scratch (while it was booting and reading from the CD).What happens is that my system runs fine, but suddenly (completely random, sometimes right after powering up, sometimes after hours), the system comes to a near halt. I downloaded 2 files for the Netherlands scenery. One is called NL2000_v2.zip and the other is called NL2000u2.zip. I have no other 3rd party Netherlands scenery installed. In what order should I install these files into FS2K2 in order to ensure the installation is done properly?Thanks for your help!Airbus

Hi,I had a lot of crap in my registry, so I decided to make a clean driver install with Nvidia's 30.30s. You know the type of driver install where you uninstall the NVidia software and delete all remaining tweaker crap manually frm the registry. Everything is running fine now and I even gained 2fps. But I lost my display orientation tab. I need that to get enough room on my 2nd monitor for FSFlightmax and realityXP. How can I get that one back. I already posted this question on the madonion forum, but these guys are only interested in things that might gain 10 3DMark points. I'd prefer a simple registry entry, as I want to use aTuner and have no good experience with using…

Hi, I bought a new video card today and I cant get FS to anti alise with this new card! The Video card is a VisionTek GeForce4 MX440 64MB DDR Ram, with Dual VGA. I originaly had a Geforce2 MX, and the FSAA worked fine, but the frame rates where slow and the FS was stuttering hell! Everything works fine with the GeForce4 MX440, the frame rate are very good and i have no stutters! The only problem is that the buildings and airplanes are jaggy! In FS i have the anti alised box checked, in the GTU, i have the force FSAA checked, I have set FSAA to 4 in the direct X tab! i have change drivers numerous times from the 30.18s to the 30.30s which am currently running! Just thinking about cash spent on flight simming...software: I bought MSFS2000 Pro when it came out, then quite a few addons, now 2k2 is out...I bought the Pro version of that as well, but of course most of the adds from 2000 don't work....but does it even matter as the newer ones are so much better, especially in the eye candy department.BUT...now I have software that I spent more than $500 on that sits on my shelf collecting dust...I put the stuff up for sale here on the Classified section...and now in the swap shop, but why buy the stuff that is now a bit older...of course someone new to the hobby could take advantage of some cost savings, I guess...or maybe someone st…

This little screw up by an Instructor and Senior Student on VATSIM who were controlling withing the Anchorage ARTCC cost me about 45 minutes to and hour and 300+ miles added onto my 225nm flight from Kodiak PADQ to Anchorage PANC.
