Haven't read anything about this here yet (just did a search-lot's of blurry stuff people have), but I get the following texture problem: When cruising at whatever altitude (I usually stay below 15000) looking at the terrain you can see squares turn from a mauve type color into the ground texture. It happens rather quickly but noticable nonetheless. never had this prob with my old system. (Finally am stutter free yet this crops up)It happens with default drivers, 27.xx, 29.42 and 30.82 also I'm using a GF4 Ti4400.Any insight is appreciated!! Andy

Anyone have a Grumman goose (Mike Stone's version) panel for the non-Pro version in the works? I'm trying to figure out how to make one, but my artistic skills are about the level of a two year old... LOL. I heard there was a way to make pro-guages work in the regular version, but I can't find anything on it. Thanks for any info!

Hi!Simple question, how do you align the HSI in the Bell 206 so that it agrees with the Magnetic compass? When I fly it usually precesses and I don't know how to align it as the only two knobs on the HSI are the OBS and the heading bug unlike the Heading Indicator which has a knob for aligning it with the compass. Now I do realise that the HSI is supposedly slaved to a flux valve and not the magnetic compass per se but I still can't figure out how to make the two agree!Any suggestions much appreciated!!Breff :-rotor

HiA few night ago I tried multiplayer for the first time but there is trouble with it.Where do i start?.....There was a session open already and I was given the IP to join. I went to Mulitplayer and enterd the IP, searched and found it. I set name as Westjet111 and I clicked join. THere were already 3 people online including one called Aeroflot. When I joined the session it said at the top "Aeroflot has joined the session" I am Westjet not Aeroflot. I exited and joined a few more times but still every time I join it says Aeroflot has joined... What on earth is going on?And off-course I could not see Aeroflot becasue apparently I was Aeroflot. In Fs2002 the (M ) key won't switch mags. Any thing that will switch from keyboard rather than using mouse. Thanks Chuck

Hi fellaz,I am having a strange thing happen to most of my downloaded jets (F-14, Grumman AE-6, Learjet,) etc.The default flight is the Cessna at Miegs field i assume. When i switch aircraft, i still get the default sound of the Cessna for my jets!? All my commercial aircraft seem to be fine ei. (747, 737, 727) etc.I have removed the jets and replaced them, but there still using Cessna sounds. I even removed the Cessnas and the jets have no sound at all! Commercial airlines are fine, its just the planes i downloaded. I am positive there all compatible with FS2002 (standard).Mind you , they worked fine a few days ago. I was doing a night flight yesterday using real weather. Anything under 5 I get a fog, like it should be. Is there a way to fix this?

G'Day!The Duck flies and runs great on my system. Three out of four of my Beta testers are happy with it, the fourth one having problems that I cannot emulate, therefore fix. None of the rest of us have that problem. It is addressed in the "Troubleshooting" section of the read-me file.I am all but ready to upload the Grumman J2F-6 Duck to the AVSIM library except for one problem.I have put together an installation.exe file and went to test it on both my system, which worked fine, and on another computer that has the basic default installation of FS2002.On this other computer, when I try to select the Duck to fly, I get one Error message after another in regards to the gau…

Gotta new sound file for the C421 with very nice prop sync fxs. But these effects are not linked to the prop sync switch. You only hear those sounds for some time when change the throttle or the prop setting, until the props sync again.Actually the prop sync switch is there for nothing. Turn it off or on it is a placebo.Is it possible to adjust the sound.cfg in a way, that you can hear the props getting out of sync when u turn prop sync off. That would be just great.Every advice is highly appreciated.Alex

Just wanted to add one more thing. Thought I'd better open a new thread, so you do not have to do all that scrolling.On my system if I disable the AGP, it is essential to turn VSync off!!Otherwise I will have strange picture jumps. Right now I cannot think of a direct connection between the two or an explanation for this fact.Turning VSync off never made a huge difference on my sytem with AGP on, although I remember a thread from Paul, proving that it will improve frame rates with AGP too. With AGP off it is a much larger difference.So before finally judging what disabling AGP can do on yr system you might want to check if VSync is disabled.Alex

I was just wondering what you all set your display/graphic settings in FS2K2 to? Can anyone tell me why this is happening. It occurs when I task switch and then go back to FS. I can't seem to get rid of it. It happens to all the lights including the sun. Reloading my position via "Map View" where textures are reloaded doesn't work. It fixes itself if I change the resolution but then if I do the same task switch thing it does it again. I have just returned from an overseas holiday . We arrived at BrisbaneInternational airport in really bad vis. I estimate that the captain wouldhave caught sight of the ILS runway at only around 200 feet AGL- we brokeout of the low clouds so low that I was sure that we would have to go around. But land it he did -- a real greaser too!!So the question is --- do some aircraft land automatically .ThanksBarry

Duh, a nice looking helicopter! The panel is very hard to read, tho. But my only problem is: How to start up the engine of this thing. I didn't get much use outta the manual...
