The visual model is (apart from the flaps/inboard wingsection)VERY nice as usual, but as a real CRJ pilot I'm really frustrated with the CRJs fm.1. No roll spoilers. The real CRJ of course has roil spoilers2. Wrong inboard wingsection and flaps and flap tracks. No trailing edge dihedral on the inboard wingsection. That's why the flaps are way too high above the ground. The flap tracks are bonded to the flaps on the real plane. They don't slide along the flaps. Especially they don't extend beyond the flap trailing edge.3. Wrong gear retraction sequence. I was very saddened at what I heard, and at the same time annoyed by other people's lack of knowledge in their hobby. For the past 5 years I have been running a Asus P2B-F board with P3 450 and 1024 of ram plus a hard drive without any problems at all.3 months ago I purchased a Western digital caviar se and it is connected to the board via a Ultra100 TX2 raid controller. I good upgrade that ran also without problems until 2 weeks ago.Suddenly the disk crasches. It stops running. The cause, connectors on a small plate below the disk that connects the disk and the board on the disk burned.The data was retrieved, I got a new disk, the seller suggested a manufacurer failure. As most of you, I have been very motivated with FS, especially in the bush sector. I am always scouting out new things and trying little things to make my sceneries and repaints just a little bit better. I have dedicted thousands of hours of my free time to do so. After seeing all this that has happened in the past 48 hours, the air has been sucked right out of my sails. I really could care less now. Just checking flights for CalScream 6 in the DF737 and find I have a problem.In windowed mode everything works OK but when I go to full screen mode and bring up the FMC I get a black background, no buttons but the upper screen shows all the normal information.It also seems that in full screen mode the FMC will not drive the A/P.Running in 1280x960x32 both full screen and windowed.GF3 Ti200 64MB card, Win98SE, AGP texture acceleration disabled in DX8While just checking the probelm now appears in windowed mode as well???However if I close FS down and then re-open it the FMC displays correctly...very strange.Any *helpful* thoughts appreciated.Could it be the graphics card ov…

Does anyone know the reason of this message? It's coming up on every flight i make! Even if I'm always correcting the altimeter (with the B key) and maintaining my flight level, there's always a moment of my flight where i got this horrendous message "American Pacific 1123 IFR flight plan cancelled". I always check my correct altitude using the information on SHIFT+Z, and even though my altitude is absolutely correct, ATC cancels my flight plan. First it sends about 3 messages saying I'm 300 feet below my assigned altitude and asks me to expedite my climb to my assigned flight level, then it cancels it.Is there any way to correct it, or avoid it?Cheers!

Hi everyone,I'm using the latest FSUIPC, using real world weather whenever I fly. However I noticed wind gust are not possible. I have default settings in FUSIPC. Is there anyway I can allow wind gusts? Even if I set the weather manually to allow gusts, the wind doesn't gust, remains at a certain speed.Anyone?Thanks!

First off, AWESOME WORK on the Dash 7 Milton, it is one of my favorite aircraft of all time!!!1 question for anybody who may know.When I shut down the engines the props stop (sort of) and then seem to slow down. Is anybody else having this problem?Thanks!!!!Shane

I know this has nothing to do with FS but the forum is replete with experts and wizards in the PC world generally, so here is my question:I just exported my Outlook express 5.5 Address Book from my old P3 and imported it into Outlook Express 6.0 on my new P4 under Windows XP. But I simply cannot find WHERE in the new PC the Address Book is actually resident on the C: drive. Can anybody assist me to locate the file or the folder where the Address Book actually lives (i.e., where the DATA is)? In the old P3, it was a *.wab file but there seem to be no *.wab files in the new 'puter and I just can't find the Address Book either doing any other kind of search.I appreciate a…

Hey everyone, I'm just curious...an acquaintance of mine is looking for aircraft to repaint, but he's primarily interested in aircraft with 512 by 512 textures. I have no idea what that means, but if anyone does know, and has any idea what planes have those textures, please let me know so that I can relay the information to him :) He's pretty new to the repaint scene, and has done some pretty awesome work so far (Terry Gaff's 737-200 in particular). Yesterday(9-11)I spent the day taking advantage of Spirit Airlines free fare promotion and did a roundtrip LAX-DTW in about 10 hrs. I was hoping to get some decent aerial shots to use in creating more realistic scenery sets for FS. Unfortunately most of the trip had lots of cloud cover, but some of the cloud formations in the southwest were really nice. Thought you might enjoy one of many shots I took yesterday.I've always wondered if there might be a video available that is not distorted by cabin window reflections, etc. which could be used by third party developers to create better overall scenery. Is there any problem in replacing the included panel by a more down to earth panel specially with readable instruments. I have installed SP1 and have yet to see a problem. I read another post on this forum where a number of people appear to have uninstalled it. I'm wondering if there's a common thread to those that are and aren't having a problem with this.The only strange issue I've seen, and this may have nothing to do with SP1, is that tonight my fps went to virtually 0 as I was landing at KDCA, after a 1 hour flight using the great B727 panel and Mike Stone's wonderful aircraft. Anyway, when I first installed it, I had no problems. Now when I try to install it, I get a message that says something about a setup error. I checked the cd, and there are no visual defects of any sort. My question is this....I bought the game about four or five mos. ago, so taking it back is out of the question I think, so what do I need to do to get a new cd?
