Hey guys, this problem has only just started to pop up. When I fly a plane its ok for a few minutes, then the ground starts to flicker and disappear, it gets to a point where most of the scenery is displacing itself and its really annoying, it also locks up which causes the computer to restart itself! I have a nVidia Geforce 2 card and 1.8ghz P4 computer I re-installed FS2002 but that did not help! Can you help please?

I just upgraded my system from a PIII 1GB w/ a GeForce 2 Mx400 to a P4 2.53 w/ a PNY Geforce 4 4600ti and 512k of PC2700 DDR 333. My system should rock and flightsim should be a whole new experience....the frame rates are good, but there still is some stuttering (not much), and the graphics are not what I expected...blurries and letter are fuzzy (not clear). I am running FS2002 in full screen mode at 1124 x 780 x 32 and Im using WHQL 30.82 drivers. Can someone please tell me what else I should try to make this sim clearer. I am aware that asking to compare a flight model with the real thing is always a little silly, but I would like to know if any of you can perform a manual approach on such a/c... I have the hardest time aligning and the rudder action, that I use in GA a/c for that purpose, seems very limited.Do pilots use Charlie systematically? Or is it that I need to go to school? Is the Dash's rudder that sluggish? Thanks.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, out comes Miltons dash7. I had heard about it in the making but really didn't pay too much attention to it, I'd been busy with Anttis AS365. So last night I saw Don's post that it was out, I was bored, so I figured "why not" and downloaded it before I went to bed.Well this morning I fired her up and did a couple circuits around my home of KWWD. All I can say is WOW. INCREDIBLE. AMAZING. BEAUTIFUL. AWESOME. It's hard to believe it's only freeware. The dash7 team is to be commended!!! The airplane is a work of art! And talk about STOL! I was in a near panic on finals approaching the threshold and saw that airspeed was at 99k…

This is a quick question/poll. I want to do some IFR work and need a good single or twin to do it. I already have Commander by FSD which theoretically fits the bill, but I am looking for other options out there. My major expected features would be excellent airfile and all systems simulated as real as possible (including powerplant operations). It would be normally aspirated powerplant/s (no turboprop) with decent airspeed. I appreciate your experiences with available products.Happy flyingDonN4865GKDWH

does anyone know of a utility where for example if you boot up FS2002 and it is say 5pm your time and you are (10+ GMT) and you go to Heathrow airport then the local time comes in Fs2002?it would be good to just goto any airport and get local time instead of your time, - system time - from your computer

All my close in scenery is wrong. I get an error message when loading disk3 of fs2002 pro.On investigation I find I have a corrupted SCENEDBWORLD.CABSceneryde060n90.bglAll attemps of fixing this file have failed. I need for someone to send me this file to my email address [email protected] in advance.What does this file do as it appears to control close in scenery.
