I was wondering in the aircraft.cfg file I can't find what handle the British Airways should use so that the game recognizes British Airways. I've tried atc_airline=British Airways as well as atc_airline=British, but neither seem to work?? Thanks for the help

All,Well I received my ATI 9700 Pro card a couple of days ago and seem to have ruined what had been a complete success with my ATI Radeon 32 DDR card. I'm not sure that it is the 9700's fault entirely but it has not been fun.I removed all previous video drivers, shut down and installed the card. Restarted and installed the Catalyst drivers included on the CD with the 9700. Restarted. Card and monitor were recognized and everything looked pretty good. Only problem was my SB Live! card no longer sounded off. No problem, reinstalled the drivers and sound was back. I Quickly checked my video settings and jumped into FS2002. I immediately noticed a few more fps (I did not real…

I am using the panel FAB733 that I got here at Avsim recently. The problem is that the autopilot doesn't work properly. The altitude hold values go up in 1.000's instead of 100's, and the speed hold (IAS) goes up in 10's instead of 1's. YES I do have FSUIPC installed and working as the author reccomends!!!Can anyone provide any insight into this problem?BTW, I did not use his aircraft.cfg or air file, as I am using the panel with Yeodesigns 732.Thanks for any help you can provide!Nick

I've an Asus A7V133 (266 mhz. front side bus) with 512 megs of ram and a GForce2 GTS/GForce2 Pro 64 megs, I'm running DirectX 8 and video card drivers 12.41, am wondering if I should upgrade to DirectX 8.1 and a newer set of drivers compatible with this setup, any advices on which ones, reliability is very important to me as this computer is also used for work. Presently I am running FS 2002 with everything to the hilt, except shadows, with a setting of 15 fps., the system pretty much keeps it there, except of course on some very rich sceneries, the blurring is an on off thing, better in some places than others, but more on than off. If I attempt to join any RW channel today hosted by rw.avsim.net I get -'You have entered a license code that does not allow you to join a channel. Would you like to get a full license ?'My RW is unregistered as it's always been. All was fine last week.XP SP1 'side effect' or something else ?I can connect to other servers, eg viznet.net, no problem.Anyone else ?

Whenever my aircraft (doesn't matter what type) is moving on the runway this texture problem occurs. It usually starts on departure around 110 kts and also on the roll out upon breaking... I have since uninstalled and reinstalled FS2002 but still the same thing occurs. It must be the FS disk itself or some of the freeware scenery that i have installed but i get this effect at most every airport.Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this short of buying another copy of FS2002?Any comments you can provide will be highly appreciated. Thanks!!!

I just migrated to a new DELL 8200 with Windows XP. I just loaded a PSS 747-400 for the first time, and found that in full screen mode, I could not UNDOCK anything at all. I have to be in a Windows mode to undock. This stinks! On my older DELL P3 with Windows 98, I flew constantly in full screen and could dock and undock at will.What am I missing or is am I locked into this rubbish with XP?Appreciate posts, thanks!JS

hi allhope I'm in the right forumAs a pilot that did 30+ hours towards his PPL, I can fly and land light aircraft no problem. Even Seneca V no problem, although seem to need more height on the approach, and always above glideslope, using visual cues to arrive and approach for the landing. Isn't that how we all fly!!!More so with the larger aircraft, If I try to approach from 4-5Nm out from 2-2500ft QFE, I undershoot the runway, if I were to try and correct this, I.e. pull back I loose sight of the field/runway.I am aware that in the Panel config file I can set the view angle (VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=9.0, 0.0, 0.0). Sorry if this should be some kind of a specialized issue, but maybe some of you can give me their thoughts anyway. I have an ASUS V8200 T2 AGP 64 MB GF3 Ti 200 video card currently running off ASUS's V29.40 drivers. In the past I've been experimenting with various driver versions, and at one time I also tried NVidia's own reference drivers instead of those available from the ASUS web sites. However, when I did so, I was getting odd visual artifacts, especially in FS 2002 - such as untextured buildings and runways as well as a black (!) sky. I reinstalled the ASUS drivers I'd been using before, and averything was fine again. From that point on I knew I should stick with AS…

HelloI am looking for any airports or scenery located in this area of PA that anyone has made or plans too. Northeastern PA, Northwestern, NJ is a beautiful area around the deleware water gap.The only files i see are those of Harrisburg and Philly International.
