Pan and zoom around the flight deck to your heart's content, then click any button or switch to activate the autopilot, grab the throttle, access the FMGC, or perform any other operation right from the 3D view. It's the way to really fly - virtually. I realize I'm an occasional lurker here, but has anyone got a status report on Taxiwaysigns.com? I haven't seen any new work from them in months and was just curious. Hopefully they're still in business, they do fabulous work.

I will start by showing you a picture of what im trying to fixthe p-51 was taken yesterday and the crj today. I was messing in the fs2002.cfg under the scenery section so that may be it.http://members.shaw.ca/evan.lask/help.jpgIn the before shot you can see that the scenery at distance looks ok, Its fairly sharp and still retains some of its quality..Now in the after shot notice the scenery at distance gets very pixelated.. When I view it it almost looks like lots of squares. If you can see what I am saying Id apretiate the help.. ThanksEvan

Hi all,I've been seriously considering ditching my thrustmaster throttle/joystick and going with a CH Yoke/Pedals combo. Since I've gotten so used to using a real throttle handle for so many years, I'm probably going to get a CH Throttle or similar too. Now all of these items add up to 3 USB cables which would be taking up alot of valuable ports. I've seen some discussion about connecting the yoke to the pedals. Is this accurate (ie: connecting the two so just one can be plugged in)? Anyone know if this also applies to the CH Throttle too? Also, can one of the rocker switches on the yoke be mapped to the elevator trim? I've heard that FS doesn't like that. Thanks in a…

Just installed XP Home and have an interesting glitch. Planes now default to VC cockpit view instead of 2D mode. Any way in FS to change the default panel view?

I finally made a really cool trim wheel for my home cockpit but I find I have trouble using the AP altitude select now. For some reason the wheel seems to "take over" and the plane won't level out at the right altitude. Has anyone else seen this and/or found a way around it? Thanks!David

  8. Hey Gang!I am experiencing a particular problem. Every once in a while I get a "Scenery Library Object not Found" error message. At first, it was thought that my "scenery_fs_props.bgl" file, found under the SceneryDB/Props/Scenery folder was corrupted. I extracted the file from the original CD's and re-installed it and I am still experiencing the problem. I have been observing, however, that it only happens in areas where the Mooney AI aircraft is present, and especially when I turn the view to look at it.Any ideas out there on how to fix my problem? Thanks in advance folks.Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

Just did a nice flight from CYVR to KPDX in DF734. Nice approach through the mountains but when I tried the ILS approach to 28L(IJMJ)110.50 the localizer in the plane did not seem to line up with the runway plus the g/s was way off. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Adam :-)

Hello all...It has been such a long time to this forum that Im sure no one remembers me, or maybe even this quote that was always used, but if there are any people here that remember it, please either email it to me or post the reply here.It went something like: "Experiance is a hard teacher. First comes the *blank* and then the lesson."What is the correct quote?thanks again,Eric TKJAX

I used to have this website in my favourites - but lost it!! Now I have it again -- it is invaluable to keep your startup menu absolutely clean to save resources for FS2002. http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages...rtup_full.htm#NIf you don't know what I am talking about, read the website. If you still don't understand what I am talking about, then it would be wise for you to forget it . :0Barry

Hi All,I was just wondering if anyone else is seeing this problem with the Dash-8.Enroute to KRNO from KSAN between PDZ and EHF. I am supposed to track R-126 inbound EHF. The HSI is lined up but the ap is commanding a track of almost 270 for intercept. I find the Dash 8 tries to turn very early for intercept taking you on a wild zig zag. Anyone else see this? Is there a fix?MarkFollow up:I was writing this as I was flying. I went back into the sim and find my ac on a track of 120 doing circles when Vor Nav is showing as active and the course selector is set to EHF R-126????????

I was wondering how different the 757 sounds with the Pratt Whitney 2037 type engines vs. the RR RB211-535E4 type turbofan sounds inside the cabin and outside as well. For the Project Airbus A320 I am using the CFM sounds since there isn't any IAE sounds yet, but how different are these sounds comparing the two?1. Where can I find the sounds for the 757 using the RR?2. Where can I find the sounds for the MD-80 variants with the JTAD-200 series turbofans from Pratt Whitney?Any info on this would be helpfulThank You,

I am trying to reinstall the ProjectAI traffic after installing a new harddrive (ugh!) but I still have so many of the stock planes (Orbit, Emerald, etc) that the real flights rarely show up. I used to use FSTrafficedit to alter the files (ie. take out the stock planes) but for some reason that program doesn't seem to like the flightplans created by the latest Ttools. It will read the aircraft and airport files but crashes with the flightplan files. What would you guys recommend instead? Thanks!David

Hi,First, is it so that the CSI MD-11 is the only thinkable MD-11 model to use in FS2002 ?Second, has anyone made better, FS2002-style lights to the CSI model (or some other quality model) ? The default FS2000 lights look just awful, like white and red tennis balls glued into the tip of the wing... yuck.Information very much appreciated, as usual.regards,Tero
