Just received Sep Issue of Computer Pilot which included a copy of FS Catolog, within the catolog there is an item on "How to Optimize your System's Performance" which supports going to Win XP NTFS. Until I read this item, I thought best approch was FAT32 for FS2002. After having no response from Tom I have also e-mailed over the proof of who Ariane is to Simon Evans. Because of problems I have been having running ms2002 I finally decided it was time to replace my geforce II card to see if it would help. I bought a Visiontek Geforce4 Ti4200 with 128 megs yesterday-what a difference-all the difference!Before-constant blurries within a minute of flight-now none-I can even see the blurrs way in the distance filling in before I get to them. In other words-blurries solved!Total smooth panning in vc mode and nearly instant side views in 2d.Sharpness and visual effect is nearly photo real now-I can not believe the difference.Everything now in the visual display running at the max-everything!(before lots of features like water turned off)-and …

Hi all!I have the Soundblaster Audigy card, and since it's use in my 6 month old computer, it seems to have a problem with FS2K2. Recurring sound drop-outs (not total) and annoying shrill monotones in dashes, like an extended phone busy signal, happen at times while in the sim.Now it's easy to correct. I just hit the pause key, then again to unpause, and the sound quirks stop. And this can occur at random and several times during a flight. Seems to occur when ATC talks (but not always) or when I swivel my head in the VC and the sound channels compensate for the changed angle of my ear.Anyway, I'm sure this is some type of conflict or config. problem, and I was wondering i…

Hi allHmm installed the posky A330 and WOW what a nice plane but one think that makes me creazy is that the planes fixes are wrong.When I try to park at a gate the plane is going threw it when the cockpit view says STOP.Parking the plane corretly and looking out the window the gate is several ft infront of me.Anybody have a fix for this ???Jesper

I have a question regarding this . If one is to enable the AA in the NVIDIA control panel are they in turn suppose to disable it in FS. I know there is an option to let the app control it on the NVIDIA side so my assumption would be to enable say 4x AA and disable FSAA. Hey Gang!I don't know if this has been discussed around here or not before, but I have made an interesting discovery. If you go into your Direct-X dialog box, under the Display tab, disable AGP Texturing. As soon as I did this, my frame rates, fluidity, and scenery sharpness increased tremendously. It looks like FS2002 and this function don't mix together very well.Just my 2 cents!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my FS2002...my texture starts out really awesome but then all of a sudden it gets really blurry, and that happens to both the terrain and the ground textures...Is anyone having the same problem and does anyone know what i can do to make it look nicer ?
