Hi,I just installed the new Milan-Malpensa airport.This thing is nothing short of bloody amazing !This is definitely the most detailed and graphically complex airport I ever saw in any flight simulator !Guess what - it's FREE ! When I taxi at low speeds and when my ground speed is zero (ie when I'm at gate waiting for IFR clearance) the "End flight pop-up" pops up every minute. This is sooo annoying and has just stared to happen lately. I don't know what I've done! Is there a way to disable it?

I hunted but couldn't find any posts on this subject (forgive me if I just missed something) so here goes:In the "no-cockpit" view -- the one with just the five primary instruments lined up at the bottom of the screen -- is it possible to change which guages are displayed?Specifically, I'd like to see the Cessna 172 airspeed indicator there instead of the default Caravan indicator or whatever that is. That guage has the entire safe operating airspeed range of the 172 compressed into a tiny arc, whcih makes accurate airspeed control almost impossible. It would be hugely helpful to have the yellw/green/white airspeed arcs for the C-172 visible in that view for approaches a…

I think we almost need a separate forum for this aircraft -- just about every switch actually WORKS and is tied into the aircraft systems somehow. I have managed to use all the switches that are essential to flying the aircraft and using the basic functions of radios and nav radios -- but I just KNOW that all the other switches do something or other .It would be good to get together with other enthusiasts of this aircraft, put our heads together and record just what switch does what !! Any volunteers to work with me.?Barry

Hi to everyoneI don't have a powerfull computer so I must use default scenery. They are ok for my IFR needs. During the day it is easy to taxi because of the yellow taxiway lines. But during the night they disappear instead of being illuminated. Is there a way to make them illuminated? I am not a programmer but I can try with "Airport" if you say to me that there is a way. I have been putting up with "flashing polygons" for way too long now. I have had them ever since buying my new Dell a year ago (see specs below). Turning off my MIP Mapping seams to get rid of them, but then the rest of my graphics suffer.In the attached picture you can see the discolored squares on the runway and at the top of the picture. It looks even worse when flying around mountains...I get many blue and yellow flashing "polygons."Tips appreciated. Does anyone running SBLIVE on XP experience this problem with the sound card impacting frame rates? When I run FS2K with sound it will cut my frame rates in half and make the flight a lot less pleasant. Hey people, although I am not new to flightsimming, I am new to this forum and I have a major quiestion; for the last 3 weeks, whenever I try to open FS2002, the start screen shows up, and then a window opens and tells me that I don't have enough memory on my comp! And it did work a few weeks ago! So how is this possible? I hope someone knows, because i want to try out all those new planes and sceneries that were released.Tnx in advance, Maurits

In between I found a way to assign "centering of elevator trim" to afree joystick button by Peter Dowson's excellent FSUIPC (2.90).Peter, do you know a way to assign it to key?And is there a similar way for rudder and aileron trim?Hans-Guenther Schnell

Hi,The level of realism certainly stepped up a notch with Real Air Simulations SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 Virtual Cockpit. If you are lucky enough to have a nice stack of Go-Flight radio's and switches you have a terrific combination. With Goflight I have everthing I need to fly the plane without leaving the VC which is the best I have seen to date. Nicely done!BobP :)

hey guys there's been a lot of fus here at UAD on when the plane will be released but not yet lol anyway this beta is in the american airlines livery and has had the wing flex removed because of *unrealitic* properties . there was a lot of errors with beta 1 there all fixed dont worry about the texturing that will be fixed anyway here's the pics !!!!

Anyone know of an AI traffic tool that can search, export and remove all flight plans that are related for a specific country.What I mean is this, I want to open the default traffic.bgl file, and export all flights that have USA airports in them. This includes flights that have legs to the USA. I want to be able to export and remove any flight that will be flying in or too the USA. Ai Traffic mover will not work for this...Any other programs out there?Thanks

Hi to all,Maybe someone out there has an answer to why the GeForce4 MX 440 128MB, I just installed locks up after about 5 minutes of simming...had aGeForce 2MX 200 in it before and never had this problemm, would love to get it solved as with the 440 in the machine I am getting frame rates anywhere fron 30 to 77......sure would appreciate any suggestions... oh the ram on the compuiter is 512, any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks,JimTucson
