Some time ago in this forum or 'Hanger Chat' there was a series of threads from a publisher asking for help in naming famous landmarks in FS so they could be incorporated in a new product.For the life of me I cannot remember what the product was called, who published it, or if it had been released.I thought it was from Lago but can see no reference to it on their web site.Anyone help this addled old brain?Also can anyone recommend a good World atlas, ideally CD not book ?I like to take screen shots of my flights and it is a real PITA trying to correlate LAT/LON from FS into features on my old, small size atlas book.TIA

I think we should all just accept Lago's Scenery Enhance for what it is. A Scenery enhancer not a scenery designer. Lago has been ask to open it up time and time again and its not going to happen. Perhaps because its just to complicated to rewrite code.Lago's been ask to provide more enhancers. And they have althought not at the rate or quanity that anyone would have liked. Me, I split my flight time more or less evenly between Simubuild's A340 series, PA's A320 and the fabulous Dash 7. Apart from these, I will also put POSky's CRJ into regular service as soon as the Lufthansa CityLine livery is released :-) .I'm eagerly waiting for Simubuild to reopen...after all, I need to complete my A340 fleet, and the MU-2 looks just as tasty! :D

What can I do? I can't seem to figure out why my Microsoft FF Pro (original one) only works sometimes in FS2002? It used to work, yes, I am using XP Home edition. I don't know why it isn't now, but Im torked, I just need a Joystick to play the game, and I can't go out and buy another, don't have the money for that right now, and why should I ahve too? I really don't even care if the Force Feedback works, I just wanna have the Joystick working so i can do some flying! Any help on this would be greatly Appreciated!!! Ty89m

ok guys can anyone help me out herei have two drives on my computer a C: and a D: now for safety issues (not losing my whole C: drive info) i purposely installed fs2002 on D drivewell anyway last week i had to do a complete reformat of c drive because the computer was constantly rebooting randomly,i reformatted c:/ and reinstalled win98SEthen everything was fine, i immediately went to D drive and seen if FS2002 was still there, i lost the desktop icon of Fs2002 because of the reformat however i simply made a shortcut from the D drivefs2002 works fine, however now i cant get any other addons to work such as Scombo or install any other PAI planes because it keeps asking for…

I was wondering if anyone else is have difficulty with the ATC in FS2002? In the past it was San Diego, Atlanta, Chicago, and now New York City. This is what seems to happen intermetly.ATC won't hand me off to the center and it will just remain on the approach sector throughout the duration of the flight. I just noticed in the past it was FFG 757 for United. I uninstalled reinstalled no problems afterwords. Now it seems to be Posky's 767-200 and 300 that I was flying with American Airlines.As a result as I am coming in and the atc would get stuck into one sector and I pick an airport and land at another location the program will give you the FS has to shut down. Hello all,I purchased a Creative GeForce Ti 4400 today - what a nightmare. Of course the drivers included were awful (stutters, lockups, corrupt gauges etc etc) Trouble is I can't make any other drivers work at all, even after flushing out all Detonator references in the system and registry.I am aware of the 40.41 drivers but these are for WinXP only, and no! I'm not getting XP which is not good for developers or musicians (won't run Cubase too well). I tried the Nvidia latest (30.90 I think) and these crash the system.12.41's which ran perfectly with the GeForce GTS2 won't even recognise the card.Please advise before this becomes a "wit's end" post! I just recently ordered the Gainward G4 Ti4200 128Mb card and was just wondering if anyone has any advice about which drivers work the best with FS2002. I'm not concerned about any other games at all.Also, are there any 'must have' tweakers, software or utilities I should be thinking about? Links would be nice. :-)

I have been experimenting with my P4 2.53 Ghz, Ti-4600, 512 RDRAM for 10 days now, spending about 20 hours simming here and there in various a/c over various sceneries and in various weather. I found that fps with Simflyers KIAD were good and smooth, but fps were not amazing. No stutters by day or night and all sliders maxed right except for ATC and Clouds (both at 60%). FSAA 2x.But I just installed the new Tahiti scenery and blow me down, frames fell momentarily as low as 13.5 over the seaplane dock with not much scenery around, rising to about 16-17 once they adjusted.In flying the beautiful FSD Cheyenne 400 over the western states, I had frames capped at 26 fps, but…

If you hadn't already noticed, all the quality a/c addons are gmax designs. Be advised that fs2004 will "probably"only support gmax.(Scenery, a/c, etc, etc.) FS2002 is an introduction to what they have in store for us. I'm wondering what everyone elses opinion is.

I've recently installed the RealityXP high level clouds. I'm using the RealityXP high level (cirrus) clouds along side my FSW Cumulus clouds.Each time i setup a layer of high level cloud the visibilty is reduced to about 5-10km. I'm trying to get these high level clouds to be accompanied by an unlimited (or near as) visibilty, without success. Anyone know how this can be achieved?NOTE: The normal procedure of doing this in the weather window doesn't seem to fix it ("Advanced" section etc), neither selecting "Clear Weather".Any help will be much appreciatedWill
