OK, so I'm finally getting my three older pc's setup to run wideview in my garage (I've settled on a b17 as my aircraft of choice for this "cockpit")I've downloaded some scenery for the Omaha area, and it requires the Texture2.02 file pack. So I've found that and downloaded it, however there's no readme of any sort. So, does anyone remember back to their FS98 years to help me get this package installed?

Need Help:I recently upgraded my processor to AMD 2100. I have a Radeon 7500 Dual Video Card. I upgraded my operating system to Windows XP Professional. I used to run under Windows 98SE. Under Windows 98SE I had no problems getting into FS2002. I was able to install FS2002, but when I click on FLY NOW nothing happens. I hit CTRL ALT DEL and the task manager states "NOT RESPONDING". I tried to go in and tell XP to run as Windows 98, but still no lock. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :(

I don't know if Microsoft monitor these forums but the ONE things I can not understand (seeing that we asked for it while they were developing FS2000 and then again when FS2002 was in the pipeline) was the fact that the runway lights are turned on and off by some setting in FS2002 that no one knows where and when ...... causing the runway to be so dark with dusk and dawn that you can not see it!... making flying into an airfield with low visibility almost impossible because of the most unrealistic feature in MSFS and that is that you can not set the runway lights on or off!Did anyone figure out a way around this - or where the switch in the Microsoft tower is for runway l…

I was just curious, because I just purchased Emma Field, great add-on, but I can't see to figure out where the glider winch is? There is also 0 air trafic flying around me, theres not Emma Field Member giving me taxi, takeoff instructions, and isn't there supposed to be an old Cub in the hanger where the man is working? Just curious, because so far I can't seem to figure out how to work that stufff... I have the latest version (1.52) Any help would be very nice! Thanks! Ty80m

I downloaded Simflyers' DFW scenery and decided to buy it. The registration key is 76 numbers long! Why on earth would a registration key have to be this long? Not only that but if you add the east and west static scenery, you have to enter these 76 numbers a total of 3 times.

Hi folks,my aircraft keep bouncing and often crash while taxiing, also very slow, at EDDM (German Airports 1 - Aereosoft); further many taxiways are floating (flying yellow lines).Is there an update for FS2002 available for download?I only own EDDM, a download edition and not all airports.Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

Hello,I try to download this program but the web site is very slow and the download speed drops down to 150 bytes/sec and then it freezes or it cancels automatically. I have a cable internet connection. Any idea if its me or the server? Anyone got it ?ThanksMichel

I've downloaded the Malpensa scenery that was recently released by ISD Project, but I can't get it to install :-(. The problem is that the downloaded file is has a '.msi' extension, which isn't reconginsed by my system :-(. Someone has suggested right clicking on the file, and telling it to open with 'Microsoft Installer', but I don't get that option. I'm using Windows XP if that makes a difference.So, has anyone with XP got it installed OK yet? Or does anyone else have any ideas?Thanks,Dave.

I want to throw in this question cause I have just assembled a pc with Gigabyte 7VRXP, 512 DDR, 80 GB WD SE Caviar etc and would like to get suggestion if the is something in particular I should do in order to configure the video card for possible improved performance. Now runnig on the 28.xx driver from Nvidia.All suggestions welcomeRegard

I notice that Lago will soon be releasing a Twin Otter. Nice, because I find the current available Twin Otters seem a little outdated. As I recently made a lovely, clean, fresh install of FS2002 (which, I have to add, has made it run much better) I haven't yet reinstalled any Twin Otters again. I'm only really installing the best planes I have collected. But The Twin Otter is something of an essential addition. It's also one of those planes which has several freeware versions available.Can anyone give me their opinion on the best current freeware Twin Otter download?Cheers,Simon.

My FSMeteo stopped working the other day and I wrote Marc and he says to many people have my version. This has happened to someone else I know also. I have not given FSMeteo out to no one. I just purchased it less than a month ago. Heck I just purchased FS2002 two months ago, I am a newbie to flightsims. I am just learning how to fly and do this stuff and now I buy this software and cant use it. I wrote him back but no replies. Is anyone else having a problem with him. This just isnt right. I do mostly GA aircraft and fly at small airports. I would like to add AI traffic to these airports. I have attempted doing this using TTools and AFCAD, but do not see any planes. I would very much appreciate if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong!Here is what I did:In AFCAD, I added a Ground and Tower frequency, and 4 Gate Small parking spots to airport 11S. With each parking spot I created 4 parking connectors to 4 Normal nodes. These then feed into a Hold Short node, which feeds into a Normal node located at the end of the runway. Is there any place I can download the Concorde for Flight Sim 2000. I was quite impressed with it, and having 2002, am dissapointed that I can no longr fly the Concorde. I require the full package, including gauges, sounds etc.Thanks for any helpPhil
