How can I activate the Project AI traffic after installation?Thank guys.Mark

Can hardly contain my excitment when scanning the latest news, websites and forums. It would seem that people like me are being extremely well catered for at this time! With (in no particular order) Flight1/Reality XP's Piper Meridian & Twin Commander, Dreamfleet's Cessna 310 and FSD's Seneca V, Porter & Navajo software on the cards (to name but a few) the GA Times were never better ! I sincerely hope that all of the 'Big Iron' and airline enthusiasts out there have plenty to look forward to and are similarly blessed with developers' incoming!AFOX :-yellow1

Hi All,Upgraded last night from ME to XP corporate and changed file system from FAT32 to NTFS !!No problems, infact improved FS performance all round, except when trying to open Mulitplayer Session?Opened FS ok? set up and connected to multiplayer session in the usual format, when trying to open Squawk Box, It could not locate my session. I have completed this procedure many many times previously, but cannot figure the problem out now?I am aware that XP has its own 'Firewall' option, But I beleive I have disconnected this feature. (I used to use Zone Alarm, which worked fine) and enabled me to access the Internet through Multiplayer. (I am in the process of downloading th…

I'm new to panel downloads and would like to cut my teeth with the panel chosen by "Bear" in his latest list.However I don't have a Boeing 727-227 in my hanger and would appreciate a suggestion as to the best one to download and use with Steve's panel.

Can anyone tell me the location of the original Traffic.bgl file on the FS2002 CDs? I've spent the last two hours searching the CAB files and I've been unable to locate it.Secondly, if its not on the CD, can someone tell me the date and size of the original Traffic.bgl file?

Hi,when flying an aircraft (e.g. the SF-260) with variable pitch propeller I'm allways uncertain of what to do with the propeller pitch lever. Or more exactly: how to interoperate propeller pitch (~RPM) with the throttle.Can someone give me a hint of how to use propeller pitch and throttle during the various phases of a flight (TO, climb, cruise, descend and landing)?Thanks for any help, Thomas

I just searched all the -7 posts and didn't see this mentioned. The power settings from the refrence table are:POWER SETTINGSTake off 1210RPMclimb 1070RPM up to 1210RPMcruise 1070RPMAlternate cruise 1020RPMeconomy cruise 900RPMHowever with the prop lever full forward I get 1313 RPM:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d8972127b640836.jpgWith the prop lever pulled all the way back I can only get 1121 RPM:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3d89721d7bed8b11.jpgIt is impossible to set a cruise RPM of 1070 RPM. Am I the only one getting this?

After all the bad feelings I've seen in this forum when it comes to stealing other peoples work, I would like to ask if this is ok before I upload. The question - I have modified files from aircraft A to improve aircraft B. I have A's permission to upload the files. I cannot contact the maker of B. I also have files I made that are included. Is it right to improve aircraft B (none of his files are used) without his permission. Thanks for the advise. I think this is a great forum.

I've just upgraded to a P4-2.4g processor using an Intel M/Board, and since doing this, FS2002 doesn't recognize my stick anymore.From the main menu of FS, I can click the Enable Joystick box, but while in FS, all joystick menu items are ghosted.I've read heaps on the MS site, as well as in Intel. Nothing helps.Its the old style SideWinder (through gameport, not USB), and running under WinXP Pro.I was running a P3-1000 with same software before and no probs, so I'm guessing it's the board?Anyone else had this problem, and more importantly, any solved it.I upgraded the machine for FS, now can't control it.....

Simmers,Just got a problem that every time i switch to another view from the main panel,and in particular with the PSS 320 (but now seems to happen on all aircraft) i am getting a very brief white out effect before the textures render. When going to Tower view the whole aircraft is grey before textures fill in, i have tried every setting know to man in FS and AGP ON/OFF in Directx, textures high/low. In desparation i have just purchased a GF4 TI 4200 but no difference any ideas..WIN ME AMD 1.4 512 DDR Asus MB.ThanksMark

I had a few micro toggle switches around and decided to make an intercom panel for my homecockpit. It's easy to get the ident switches working (they already have keycommands in FS). I can't find a way, though, to switch between Comm1 and Comm2. Does anyone know the extended command to add to the cfg file to make this happen? The swap command only switches between Comm1 and the standby freq. Thanks!David

On some aircraft, I get a low engine oil pressure warning light come on occasionally. When it does , the gauge reading for that particular engine seems to be OK - but the low pressure oil light on the annunciator and the master warning light illuminates.Any ideas - I suspect a bug.Thanks Barry

In the review Bear did on Rockcliffe Airport (CYRO) Ottawa, Canada, I noticed that it looked like he was flying a rockwell commander. I couldn't nail down if it was a turbo commander or not. I don't think it was since it didn't have the exaust pipes of the turbo commander.Either way, I was wondering where I might find that particular aircraft?

I am experiencing a complete lockup on a client PC that is normally used as a left front full screen with Wideview in conjunction with the Server and additional client. This a low end e-machine using FS2002 as described above. with no changes that I recall, the system has been completely locking up after about one-hour of operating FS2002. The second client PC is used as right front also a e-machine with no problems. I have run the defrag system and am now trying to narrow down the confliction. OS is Windows ME with a 16 mg ATI card. At present, the only solution is to simply turn off the computer. Any assistance in identifying this problem will be very much appreciated.

I have a problem with FS2K2 - It locks up a lot and when I opt not to restart FS - I get an error that Ddhelp has caused an error in GDI.EXEHas anyone else had this problem and if so did you find a solution?Thanks for any advise.Paul
