It used to work fine, and does not work any more...When I press Shift-E, it opens main door. Normal. But when I try to open other doors, I press Shift-E 2 or Shift-E 3, only the main door is opened or closed, even if the aircraft has other doors (such as the Project Airbus A320).Any idea?

Hi everybody,If you can afford only one ship this month the choice is simple. You've have to buy RealAir Simulations' Siai Marchetti SF260. It is mind bogglingly beautiful, flies like an angel, and knocks the stuffing out of everything current. It has blown me away... Boy, do I just love this ship !! Absolute state of the art !AFOX.

(Nicknamed "Big Red" She worked vary hard on a paint scheme that is not the easiest to reproduce and did a great job. Thank you Heather. Here is a picture of the real Baron, if you download the repaint you will see what a remarkable job she did.Ed Weber a.k.a tallpilot

Hi again,In just about every videogame activity I've engaged in over the years there's been some form of personalization. You enter your name, team or whatever, and there you have it, you're ready to rock :-bangI was wondering why developers have not created a utillity for adding personal registrations to their aircraft products so we can enjoy the same fame (or infamy for that matter) in our flight sims ?I recently downloaded both of Bill & Lynn Lyons Golden Classics packages and have really and honestly enjoyed the unique and very original personal registrations and hangars that ship with this great fun product. To see one's name or reg on my purchased aircraft is a…

Hello,We use to download many add-on sceneries. A question is how these add-ons impact on RAM and FS2002 memory ?Let's take an example: I want to fly over Germany. Lets's suppose I've installed a scenery mesh divided in 5 BGL files covering Germany. First question: Does FS2002 download in memory all 5 BGL files or just one or two depending on the aircraft position ?I've installed a landclass europe file (this is just one but very big bgl file, 5 100 ko. Since I've installed landclass europe file, I've noticed that downloading time (when I launch a new fly) has doubled (my autogen slide is on "dense").Second question: Does FS2002 download all BGL file for europe whatever a…

Hi all,I know that there are several prominant developers that read this forum, and others that are interested in starting out. I've also read of several whom have left the FS hobby recently, sometimes taking their files off the web with them. This is very sad to me, since their contribution has also been removed. So, to try to avoid people being surprised by what is to come once you release a model, I thought I'd try to help. I've been doing this since 1996, and perhaps I can contribute a bit of advice from someone who has seen it all.First, get ready for some great times, and meeting some great people. You will get lots of email and forum posts from people who are …

  12. I was just flying the other day, and it came to me that the real world is really not as vibrantly and deeply colorful as FS2002 depicts it to me. Most of the time there is a haze hanging over a largely uncolorful palette of colors on the ground, be it mountains or fields. I, for one, would like to see the textures and everything else (including the sky) in FS2004 be "washed" a bit more, so that it resembles the real world colors more.

My new PC and monitors are looking good and everything works (phew!). And thanks to Intellimover, I was able to migrate 4 GB of FS2002 stuff via USB cables from my old P3 with a few mouse clicks and a bit of time (30MB per minute.)Anyway, in the FSNav main screen with moving map, on the left side is typically data about your radios and some useful stats like speed, alt, VS, etc. These all work but the fonts are rather small, much smaller than in the same res on the P3. The fonts everywhere else within FSNav are fine and very clear and legible. Is there any way to enlarge the fonts just in that left section of the main FSNav window?Appreciate any posts, thanks!JS

Hi all again,I uploaded Aprnfix6.zip this morning and it should be available to all any time now. There are fixes for about 145 airports now. This file will replace Aprnfix#5. Some of the airports reported to me I could not see any bleedthru on my machine, but since they saw it, I went ahead and made fixes for them. My "to do" file is now down to zilch.

When you're flying with the sim using real weather does it map wind shear? Do you get to hear wind shear audible alerts? I have never heard this thats why I ask.[br][br][div align=center][br][link:members.cox.net/fstimes/wetimage.html]Click Here For Weather Image of the Day!

Well, I lost my harddrive and had to start over from scratch :-( At first I thought it might be nice to have a clean slate but it is turning out to be quite a pain. The worst part, though, is I am now one of the blurry people. I never had blurries before and never gave much thought to the posts. Now I find that anything that is not right under my plane is blurry. No roads going off into the distance or anything. As near as I can tell, I have it set up just like before, at least within FS2K2. I know there should be a wealth of information here in the forum but a search, including the archives, came up with only 10 posts! Where'd they go?My specs:P4 Win XP 512RAM GEForce Ti…
