My panels looks strange since I got GeForce 4, as you can see in the picture. I saw a Visiontek Xtasy GF4 Ti 4200 128m video card, selling for $139.00. Giving some thought to buying it. However, with Visiontek either out of business or going out, I don't know.What do you guys think? Would you buy it?

Hi,I have installed the PAI base pack, Air Olympic, Air France and United and some aircrafts are hanging in the air not moving looks really crazy, what have I missed to do ? BrgdsEugen

I'm just trying out the King Air for the first time and after experimenting with the AP I can't seem to get it to hold altitude. It appears that the magenta bug on the VSI is supposed to hold altitude when AP and ALT are turned on, but with a little chop at 6000 ft. ATC canceled me for not holding altitude. It kept jumping from + 1000 to - 1000 ft. I realize it can't be perfect in light turbulence but it didn't seem to work that well at all. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks. :-hmmm

Whatever, it's driving me up the wall. I have a reasonable outfit - Athlon 1.8, 512 RAM, goldplated Geforce 4600, frames locked at 20 - but in spot view, the aircraft often appear to progress in jerks. With the earth out of sight, they're fine, so it has to be the scenery. Does anyone have a simple tweak for a simple fsimmer?

I just downloaded Capt. I D'attomo's DC-10 updated panel (id_dc10-30_105211.zip) and followed all instruction, but the Nav.1 and Nav.2 the frequencies won't change everything else works great. Would appricate any help with this problem. Thanks jim

win xp home, athlon 2gig (xp 2400) and geforce 2, 512m ddr on mobo, it worked the first time, i took off and flew no prob. second and third times, i just taxing down to active and poof, im rebooting all of sudan, anyone??? can help would be really great.i had fsflightmax on 2nd and 3rd times, so im wondering if thats the culprit?? anyone else use the above combo?thanksciao!Brian S

When you make an overlay of an airport and you want to take off from a runway other that the one that is active for the main airport how do you get ATC to give you clearance to the runway you use for that overlay. To clear that up a little say I am using KPDX and I want to use 2PDX using the a smaler runway how do I get them to clear me to the runway I am using for that overlay and not the main runway. Yes I checke the no take off and no land boxes but that did not work. Do I need to make another frequency?I hope that isnt to much babbling Andrew

If I set a flightplan from FSNAV and import it into FS2K, will FS2K ATC use the runway that I set in FSNAV for depatures and arrival? ThanksTroy

It's Sunday afternoon and I just went to the Lago website and they said they have a patch coming either late this afternoon, or early tomorrow to fix the missing textures, new airfile (hope it fixes the trim issue), and a few other things.Just thought I'd let you know.JohnnyKTUS

Does anyone know the correct procedure for engaging th eapp hold on the FSD Commander autopilot.I'm usually being worked unto IAF with the hdg and alt hold engaged. then I'm cleared to intercept heading and altitude where I engage the app hold feature only to fly through the localiser and glideslope with no response.Do I have to engage the app before the glidelopeand localiser become active??Thanks all.Greg

HiDoes anyone know of a way to adjust the point in FS2002 where ATC asks you to intercept the localiser?The point where you intercept it, is about 5 miles for the runway. This is far too close for a heavy jet like a 747 to intercept, and stabilise on the ILS. I would like reset this to somewhere between 11 and 13 miles out. Of course this would also involve getting ATC to start the decent earlier too !Any ideas out there? Is there a config file?CheersGraham

What a difference!I got a P4 2.4b Northwood, ASUS P4S533 Mobo, 512MB of Samsung DDR 2700 ram, and already had the GeForce 4 4200 128MB card.. all overclocked with an AVC Sunflower cooler to 2914 mhz. I have always flown with all sliders maxed out even at 1300mhz with my Tbird. Now with everything maxed and some of the more complex panels and scenery, I haven't fallen below 15fps yet. With the tbird setup I saw as low as 3 fps at points and got stutters.I also gained 4000 3D marks with the increase in CPU power. Truly an amazing difference is all I can say! I'm slowly adding my AI traffic and other scenery in, so I may take a slight hit, but it'll be worth it!!Chris
