A friend of mine at school just passed FlightSim 3 on to me yesterday for me to try on my old IBM XT (Yes i still got one and its more reliable than my new 1.2GHz comp). I noticed that this wasnt on a normal 5 1/4 disk, so I figured what the heck and threw my old 486's 3.5 floppy drive in. I managed to get it to 'somewhat' work with ancient DOS 3.30. Ok, the prob I have now is that my old IBM will not see 1.44MB floppies (only 720K or below), and FS3 seems to be a 1.44 floppy (It will read on my new comp but not on the other comp).Do you think its even worth it to even get FS3 on my old XT? I have only 1 DD 720K floppy, and its half full with bad sectors. I really want to…

Hello,I finished a clean install of FS2002 on a partioned HD. When I create a flight and after the scenry, ATC and etc. files are loaded I get two errors. Both errors are of the same type. "Scenery Read Error! attempting to open a nonexistent directory. Can anyone give me a suggestion to correct this error. Any help would be much appreciated.ThanksKarl

Hey all you out there using a dual monitor setup via your ti4600 DVI, who also use FSScreen for screen shots. ;-) Did that elliminate most of you??? ;-)I finally got a second monitor running via my Ti4600's DVI out put and when I try to use FSScreen it actually captures both screens and smashes it into the same file size, so it's basically two screenshots in one 1024 x 768 image.FSScreen is a very small utility which doesn't use a lot of sytem resources and consiquently i'm unable to find any options or settings in it to change this.I then tryed Hypersnap and it worked fine, only capturing a screenshot of my main screen, but Hypersnap places the annoying copyright in the…

Hi all I wonder if any one could help me with this one every time I access the menu bar with the alt key from inside ms2002 the aircrafts panel I am flying goes in to a strange colour congigeration, its like orange and purple squares and if I click the mouse on it or use the keyboard it will temporaly go back to the correct colour but only for a second it has only just started doing this and it only effects the panel nothing else,anyone out there have any idea what could be causing this thanks for any help at all kind regards to all Michael

Has anyone had problems with Tactical Display in FS2002. I love the add on but my comp has been locking up recently whilst flying and wonderered if this could be the reason. Also I have a very large TTools flightplans.txt. Is there a problem if this file gets too big,ThanksMick

Why is it when at say FL370, when FS Meteo updates the weather, all of a sudden my altitude readout changes by over a 1000 feet = or - and the autopilot must compensate for it? The altimeter never changes? Very strange. Anyone else experience this with FS Meteo?

I just got a new computer and for some reason the crome on prop spinners and American Airlines appear as a dull grey. I have all the items in my display properties turned on and maxed out. Hi all, It just occured to me that I can only change the altitude in the new Dash 7 by increments of 1,000'. All my other aircraft can be changed at 100' increments. Is it only me?Best, Rob

The Thunder Bay scenery produced by Flight Ontario has to be cutting edge for scenery design. The detail is incredible without a noticeable drop in performance, my FPS is holding up well. There is a pulp mill with sawdust piles, conveyors, filter treatment beds where the skimmers rotate; a cantilever lift bridge; and too many other details to mention. With the release of Wilco's Airport 2002 v1, I was kinda expecting that Wilco's Airport 2000 vol 3 and 2 would be going on sale or at least be offered for a less price than A2K2.
