Hi Simmers,Yes - Five new textures (FREE) for Rey's F86 Sabre Aircraft - this time I have got a little carried away and created five (imaginary - due to lack of images available) RAAF liveries for your flying pleasure.I have tried to represent the following RAAF Squandrons - 2OCU, 3SQN, 75SQN, 76SQN and 77SQN. Before being burnt to a crisp :-vuur, I would just like to point out that I have read many of the previous threads regarding FS Sky World SE. Now, I have always thought that I was a regular user of the first edition; but as I have read many of the threads, and done my own homework, I now have my doubts.I will try to make this question/statement as concise as possible -When I normally use FS2K2pro with the Jeppesen weather, I gather that the sim uses the default MS clouds found in the root MSFS2K2 texture folder. Ever since I got my first "wheel mouse," I've wondered if there might be a way to assign the elevator trim functions to the wheel in MSFS. Since so many aircraft use a wheel to set elevator trim, this just seems like a natural to me.Has anyone successfully done this? Is it even possible? If no, how do I do it? Is there a trick to getting the ndb's to work in fs2k2?I loaded up fs98 and flew the approach and picked up suzze just fine.

Does anybody have any info' on this "developer". I bought a few of their programs a year or so ago & on visiting their website I noticed that they have a number of updates "pending". The date is in April '02, quite a time to wait for updates!!Anybody have any news?

I have been downloading and testing several panels over the last week and have not found anything spectacular yet. In your opinion guys, what is you favourite panel? Or the panel you mostly fly with in FS2002?

Hi Avsim..Have been tuning the CRJ-200 (nice piece of work) and noticed the thrust scalar is set to 1.1625 -- which seems odd since most other models fly well with thrust set to `actual' and thrust scalar equal to 1.000The model will soar up to FL410 but the last 6,000 ft at VERY slow vertical rate.CRJ-200 at 41,000 ftWhat must the engine power be increased by 16% on this one? Also, have substantially modified the aircraft.cfg file for cruise pitch and paylosd.. etc.Lastly -- what has happened to the Opensky website?? No longer hosted on avsim.com?? Hi All,I'm in the midst of installing the second edition of FS Sky World. When I try to uninstall the cloud pack, the following happens: http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3dcd57ae6080478b.jpg I'm sure that I can uninstall manually, but then I assume that that will leave the original cloud pack installation in my computer. Does anyone know how to redirect the uninstall so that the files in question can be completely removed? BTW - I had the cloud pack installed on my other two computers, and it was removed without a problem.Edit - I just went to the texture folder to manually delete the clouds, and they were already gone :-hmmm. If you play FS2002 in multiplayer, DO NOT install CFS3.The CFS3 installer installs a new version of DirectX that breaks multiplayer in FS2002. There is no way to uninstall the new DX version once it's there, to fix multiplayer in FS2002. I'm aware of certain "hacks" that may work to remove DX, but I wouldn't recommend that since it could mess up the entire system. The only thing to do if you have already installed CFS3 is to re-format and reinstall, or wait for MS to release a patch.That is with Windows XP. Don't know if the same happens on Win9x/2k/ME.I wish I had known that before I installed CFS3 :(

Okay at some point in the past couple of weeks, the following is happening:Whenever I load up a flight, by default, the following things are on:-An extra-top-down view, in a little box in the top left corner.-The zoom in my main cockpit view is set to 0.35-The airplane is moving forward, so if I start a flight at a gate, I have to be holding down the brakes as it loads up or I roll forward and crash into the gate.I'm sure there's a way to fix this stuff (maybe in fs2002.cfg, but I couldn't find where).If anybody can help me out, it'd be appreciated.

G'Day!I've had a hankering to repaint a C-130. Does anyone have any secret & forbidden knowledge about any upcoming A340-200/300? It's worth a try, I'm so desperate... ;)I know that FFG was working on one, but my post in their forum gave me no joy. I am using a ATI Radeon 8500 graphics card. Whether I am in Windows mode or Full Screen mode, if I drop out of FS2002 to do something else for short time, when I jump back into to cockpit, all my external views are black. I have re-start FS2002 to fix it, ending the flight only does not solve the problem!Any ideas?CheersGraham UK
