Ok, I was pleased to see that Saitek has a version of programming software that works with XP. Since I bought my XP machine, I was stuck with the programability built into whatever games I had - no mode control or others.So, I installed the SST software - according to the manual. It 'works' in that I tested it and it sends key strokes to a word processor just fine, but in FS2k2 - nothing.I started with trying to get either the mouse cursor control, or the fire buttons A and B to act as flap controls - ie to send F6 and F7. I want to invite all of us to download, install and fly the scenery made by Julio Estefania "La Rioja".The quality of those photoreal scenery is superb,is an small piece of Art, and the result of many weeks of work.La Rioja is an small region in Spain, famous for the quality of the wines produced.

Problems with FS2002FS2002 and Windows XP Pro: I have sucessfully used Windows ME for 3 years with FS2002 with hardly a problem. Since installing XP Pro, the following occurs: 1) Sudden termination of FS2002 2) Termination of all glass gauges after 5 minutes of flight 4) Gradual slowdown of the FS over an hour, needing a reboot 5) When switching aircraft, the panel of the previous aircraft stays put. 6) FSNavigator becomes fussy, and will not slow the aircraft down on Final, nor will it allow you to take over manual control by disabling the Autopilot. Sometimes, even though the AP is turned off, the IAS light stays on.Other problems also occur such as violent …

I've noticed recently, over the last couple of weeks, that there's an occasional and momentary selection of a 2-D view (I think it's the left rear view) when I'm looking straight ahead at the normal 2-D panel. It's very intermittent and I can't link it to the installation of anything recent. Of course it always seems to happen when I'm on final approach, although it there and gone quiclkly enough not to cause a real problem. Today I purchased SimFlyers KIAD, KDFW, and KLAX. I want to remove the static aircraft so I can use my Project AI setup with it. I followed the instructions on their site and put the zzzICAO.bgl files in the proper folder but I still see the default aircraft at the airports. How can I remove them? G'Day!Just thought I would point out a discovery for the rest of you sound connosieurs.I don't fly the heavy metal much but my recent repaint of the MelJet 747 gave me more exposure to it than ever before. Of course, I always want the best aircraft package I can put together, between airplane, panel and sounds.I had been using the 747 sound file by Clive Marriott, zip file 7_4002k2.zip downloaded here from the AVSIM library.However, if you want something that just sounds "HEAVIER" you really must try out the sound pak for the Boeing C-17 by Aaron R. The statement leaned towards the defense of Lago due a noticable number of complaints and deficiencies noted by the buying public. I've had a Sidewinder ForceFeedBack Racing Wheel USB for almost 2 years now and have never thought of using the gas/brake pedals as rudder pedals in flight simulation.I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but is it possible to use them as rudder pedals?I use a Sidewinder Precision Pro (Game Port) flight stick for flying, and using a rudder pedals with it would be great and more realistic.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial for dummies?

I'm looking for a high detail B777 for FS2002, but so far all I've found has been the Posky and the PSS one. And I don't like either of them. I know people may disagree with me, but I'm more of an eye candy kind of person, so basically looking for a B777 that will keep me going until Melvin (MelJet) finishes his B777.Any help would be appreciated.RegardsBoback

Is there a way to adjust the trim sensitivity in the aircraft.cfg file? The new Lago Twotter's trim on my sytem is way to sensitive. You move it just a little bit and it either rapidly climbs or descends. Other than that it is a nice bird.Thanks,JohnnyKTUS

Hi there,Since DF and PSS decided not to produce an A340, I was looking the whole time, where I can get an A340 which looks as good as the PSS A320 and also has an awesome Panel like the PSS A320. I know that it is posible to get the A320 Panel to work also for the A330, but I'm not a big programmer, so I don't know how to change this cockpit for the A340.Thanks for all your help.Romeo Mike

HI ALLis it me or did LAGO give the impression that the VC in the TWOTTER has working buttons on it...this NEW INNOVATION is exactly the same as any other aircraft I have.none of the VC buttons work with the mouse...whats with the ..you wont have to use the 2d panel crap...seems to me there has been a bit of misleading here.its no different from the Dreamfleet 737

The Virtual Air Racing Organization is finally starting up there server for Online Racing. Today is the first test of the server and hopefully it will take off. Did my first flight this morning with Mel's B747-400. One thing I noticed during the flight and was wondering if this is normal was the strange position of the elevator. The autopilot was engaged, and the plane trimmed itself out for level flight at FL350. But look closely at how the elevator is positioned. Is this normal?Thanks..
