I have read the first part of AVSIM's CFS3 review and I find "Who is fooling who" here? Are we fligt simulator lovers or like we a more complex "Point and shoot" game? Avsim's review start let presume we go to have some review that isn't on his place here but on a real game site. Sorry! How great is the influence of M$ on AVSIM ?hm.

Hey everyone. I've recently been tinkering with the idea of starting to create some panels for FS2k2. As I was browsing these forums earlier, I noticed an ad for a program called "FS Panel Studio." So, I clicked on the link, and had a look around the site. It looks like a good program, and is only $25, so I am strongly considering purchasing it.So, no onto my questions for people who've have the program or who've had some type of experience with it.1. Does anyone know of any fuel dump switch that comes equipped with PSS 747? ThanksTroy

I purchased this great programm by Chris Brett when FS98 appeared. I was reading the FSUIPC documentation from Peter Dowson and as far as I can understand EFIS 98 is compatible with FS2002. Does anyone of you out there know if this is correct and how I install it cause EFIS say via its intallation that it cant proceed cause it can not locate FS98. I suppose there is a way around this but what is the way ?Regard

Does anyone know where I can find some Detroit (D21) TRACON sector charts? Like the ones the controllers use in the real world? I have looked all over the place and just can't find anything! jerrycwo4I just finished installing the new package of the FS2002 version of the DHC-2 beaver that has all of the new things for FS2002, BUT I love the sound and looks of the one that I used for FS2000 BETTER ( just my choice). Does anyone know where I can get a version of the beaver (DHC-2) that was made for Fs2000 but will work in Fs2002. NO other plane had that engine sound. Thanks for your help. PREFACE- please keep in mind that these are purely my wishlist - i agree not all things would be practical for optimum frame rates/perfomance issues. merely a brainstorming of ideas, etc. 11/07/02ATC- better separation between ai and human/ai a/c- sids/stars and correct flight paths and routes for a/i- be able to request higer/lower alt. due to weather, etc- real holds when aplicable- ai a/c should fly into and out of uncontrolled a/p as well requiring the player to call out legs to have meaningSCENERY- tire marks should stay permanent on runways- runways should deteriorate over time, potholes, crackes, etc. and you should "feel" the difference when landing on a bad run…

I responded recently to Steve Cannell, a bit sharply, to his concern that a trend existed in which scenery designers were making extraordinarily complicated scenery (using the new Thunder Bay as an example) and he was wishing he could still download simpler airport addons. My response was sharp, because there are quite a few sceneries added to the library daily, and the real problem in my mind was that he wasn't recognizing those efforts. Today's headline about Thunder Bay made me think. Perhaps the media is contributing to Steve's overlooking freeware of simpler nature. Hey Gang!I see advertised that one of MelJet's 747 features is the nose gear steering, however, every time I go into an outside view and push my pedals, the nose gear does not turn, even though the aircraft itself turns as intended. Lately, I have been experiencing flashing scenery textures, i.e., buildings flashing lines into the sky. It almost looks like everything is turning into a lighthouse! Does anybody know what is happening and how to fix it?Thanks for this forum and your help!Paul

ok , i got it 2002 pro , now to fly i need a new joystick. i want to get one today. my old sidewinder wont work with the new dell 8200 2.53 . so whaty can i get and not breal the bank i am lookling at a saitek unit but dont want any conflicts . any advice would be appreciated . i am sure there are some with vitual cockpits but i just want a simple joystick. i will also say that it looks to be a challenging program, cetainly not EF200 , or Hind, ot even combat flight sim . let me know which stick would be good thanks Mike
