I am wanting to learn more about the DH 200 that apprears in the lower right corner of my flight display. When I get closer to the runway the altitude, I think, will show and beging to decrease. Usually the altitude here and what is on the altimiter are always off. What does the DH do and will this adjust the altitude? I tried changing from 200 up to 300 and down to 100 but did not notice any change. Thanks for the help. I land down the middle but just want to know more.Denny ONashville, TN

I didn't read the "censorship" thread you posted...my fault and I hope you accept my apologies.I now understand that the avsim.com forums are not the place to rant. It will never happen again and I didn't mean to offend anyone. Just one thing, how do I post a complaint without it being considered "ranting"? I don't know how, which is why I ask. If I can make my point across, politely, I most definitely will. As for the "comprehension" issue, I didn't mean for it to come out like that..maybe a little frustration? But no excuse.Fausto (happycapt)

Hi all, i am seriously considering purchasing PSS latest offering but after reading about how great the freeware one is (can't remember the name of the creator) I ned some feedback before I decide. MY most important consideration is with regards to flight dynamics- which one "feels" and handles the best? the biggest drawback i see to the freeware one is the readabilty of all the gauges but i understand there are ways to improve this. appreciate all comments on this topic.

Hey Gang! Can anyone please guide me to where I could download a Continental 777 with the multicolor scheme? I think the scheme is called NYC-2000 or Y2K. I think is a great paint job and since I had the opportunity to fly on her from Madrid to KEWR, would be a good addition to my collection. I have seen the repaint from time to time but cannot find it for the life of me.Thanks a million!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullerthttp://www.aavirtual.com/images/aav48_banner.gif[/img]

I'm thinking about getting this addon. Most of the opinions seem positive about it. I haven't seen any screen shots with the lighting on. Since this is based on a FS2000 design, does it have the foo fighter light balloons on the wings, :) or has it been upgraded to FS2002 lighting? Thanks.

I've read and posted at the DF Forum but as of yet cannot figure out how to actually create a FIX and apply it to my flight plan. I received RC v.3 yesterday and am getting ready to try a holding pattern, but I must first know how to create a fix at say 40nm before or after a vor and set the headings etc. I can enter a waypoint (in this case a vor) and then type stuff like 118/40 into LSK1, but I really don't know what that means or where to go from there. I assumed it was bearing/hold distance. I don't understand the radius/dst stuff at all. Very confused! *:-*I would REALLY appreciate some guidance. Thanks, and Happy Holidays, Adam

Hi I have been flying the SF260 since it came out and for the first time this morning on a flight I noticed that the wing strobes were reflecting on the VC. I had never seen that happen before. I then turned the strobes off and then back on and could not get the reflection again. Anyone experience this? - reflection = on - # lights = 8 - 1600x1200 32 using Geforce4 4600 RegardsBobG

Is a place where I can get a accurate list of all the call signs that the ATC can say in FS2002? I have a list already but it's not real accurate, some of the call signs on the list I have ATC don't say.

- A splendid tool that automatically re-installs FS2K2 and all add-on's when needed in a flash.- An A320PIC with 2D and 3D panel just in case I need a P7 with 23Gig DDR and a 800Tb HD.- 10" more leg space on Virgin Express so I'm able to unfold myself instead of having groundcrew coming in and have to use the 'gums of life'.- A sensitive wormhole that kicks in as soon as a developer/publisher does not meet his deadline, thus enabling him to go back in time and re-think his strategy.- A mysterious anamoly that erases the term "frame rate" from all vocabularies, minds and fora.- An extension to FDC with stewardesses that talk dirty and go all the way once landed on Langkawi…

Here are the three companies who I have had problems with:Papa Tango (1999)Dreamfleet (2002)CaptainSim (2002)After dealing with Papa Tango several years ago, I promised myself that I would never, ever go to FS payware again. Unfortunately, many freeware sites, such as avsim.com, must contain commercial banners in order to keep their website free of charge. Well, on Dec.01, 2002, I came across Dreamfleet. The rest of that story is history. I again promised myself that I would never do FS payware again. Then came Simflyers. They offer great airport sceneries, and so I swallowed my pride and reached for the CC. I was shocked. Simflyers is actually professional. They h…

I have no problem with the purchase of add-ons. Most of them offer trial versions which allows the user to determine if he/she likes it enough to buy it. They also come with very detailed manuals as well for the most part. So what is it that MS should be listening too...Well maybe instead of providing new releases every two years how about creating a very soild core program that leaves a lot of open doors. Basically with fs2002 we have everything we need it just needs to be improved. We have AI, ATC, WX, and a very real simulated world to fly in they just all need to be improved. Thats what ActiveskyRE, projectAI, FSgenesis, Ttools, AFCAD, and a few others are doing…
