HiI have a fs2002 pro and am having some trouble with exiting after a flight. I press esc. and the program will freeze. I then have to minimize it, then restore it for the exit menu to come up. I also have this problem when pressing shift and a number and when i hit alt. to access the menu at the top. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the program and this problem still appears. I do not think it is my comuter since it is fairly new and has the highest accessories. Also the plane will freeze while in the panel view for a few seconds but i think this is related to the esc. problem. If you have any suggestions please send contribute them. :-grr Thnaks in advance

Hey All, I've got a slight problem with the ATC message box, the text is a little blurry (see the screen-shot) I have a GForce 3 Ti200 Graphics Card - I haven't noticed the blurry text before I don't think. (I haven't flown in a few weeks, maybe I forgot it.) However, I did recently have to replace the fan on the card - it was making too much noise (I called VisionTek and they sent me a new one).... Anyway, is what I am seeing normal? If not what can I do to make the text sharper. Thanks for all your help!Cpudan80 :) :+

hi folksi realy luv the fantastic FFG's DC-10's. just got problems with the takeoff, as i wont get that bird off the ground before the runnway ends. and i know that in real life the took off there. :D (LSZH rw 16 ^|^)so, is it realy a difficult bird, did i miss a .mdl/.cfg update or am i to friggin stupid to set flaps ???????

Hi all,sorry if this has already been answered before (as it seems quite needed to plan flights) but i can't find it anywhere...I am mostly flying FS2002 with commercial jets, either PSS A320 or Wilco 767 PIC (just got this one today), and I am using ActiveSky wxRE, and will probably acquire FsNav soon.When I am designing a flight, I first choose the departure and arrival airports, then I enter the departure settings in FS2002 (aircraft, departure airport, time, dep. gate), and start the simulation. I just ordered FSTraffic (without thinking)now I'm wondering do the new planes thats included with this software have landing lights that are visible at night??? Some people commented on the fact that some aircraft look like FS98 models. So that made me wonder how do the lights look at night. Do these new planes have the same strobe lights as the default traffic or do they look generic at night???Another question is I saw a preview picture of this software with planes parked at O'Hare's terminal. Help!!?! I'm getting closer and closer to completing the commercial checkride. The only problem is that I have to restart FS2K2 between each attempt: if I start a second attempt in the same instance of FS2K2, when the examiner announces that he's going to hide some of the instruments, they don't get hidden; when he says he's going to restore them for the final approach, bang, they're gone!Anybody else had the same? Anybody got any ideas?

I have an addon airport for KPHX (skyharborv3) at which my aircraft bounces excessively when I taxi. Same aircraft does not bounce at other airports. Is there a way to fix that scenery to eliminate the bounce? The scenery is by Rick "Grayal" Bores but I do not know how to contact him to ask that question.

Hi folksWhilst taxying out for take-off on a night flight I noticed that the taxiway lights were reasonably bright on a side-view or virtual cockpit but very faint on the normal cockpit view. Does anyone know how I can make them brighter? I guesss it somewhere in the config files but my search was fruitless!Thanks for any help.Regards, Andrew (EGNX)

There are many people who add tremendous value to this great hobby (obsession :-) ) of ours and right up there amongst the best of them IMHO is Peter Dowson.Thanks Peter for pushing the boundries of FS2002 through FSUIPC and the many other excellent utilities you have written.For something for which you don't charge, it's value in FlightSim terms is priceless!
