I moved my default flight from Chicago to Hawaii- now the FS2002 is setting the Hawaii time to be the same as my current (eastern US) time.How can I get FS2002 to recognize what time zone it is in?

This question might not be the right forum to ask, but I am only asking if there are someone who have change from AMD processor to Pentium processor under windows XP Pro without reinstalling XP. I do not want to reinstall my flightsim due to heavy GB installedRGdsSK985

Good morning. Love my Dreamfleet 737 but have a question about one of the "automatic" cockpit warning voices on replay. While landing (again on replay only) it appears to repeatedly say "Don't think - Don't think" Am I not hearing it correctly or is this a flight warning that everyone else knows about but me?Part II - What is the typical climb rate of a 737 in feet per second after take-off? The Dreamfleet warning voice appears to admonish me if I'm not climbing at 3,000 to 4,000 feet per minute after take-off.Thanks for your response.Chuck

Hi guys,after three days of rebuilding, tweaking, fiddling with drivers, restoring....I found the problem that is causing this. I guess everybody who had this problem is doing all the XP updates.The winner is ...... Microsoft.There is a Windows update, a security hotfix that messes with timers and the desktop. The name is Q328310. Remove it and your problems should be gone.Alex

Yesterday I donwloaded version 1.1. I am already a registered user. I downloaded the Complete 8.mb version. It looks like all I got was the updated databases. Not the 1.1 version of the product. I searched their site but cannot find where you can download the updated application.Anyone having the same problem?Thanks to all who reply.Bill

I am trying to see the Kilauea eruption but having no luck.I go to select flights/ flight sim 2000 flights/ Kilauea eruption. the flight starts with me in the c182rg on the cost heading inland. This is just as the flight started in fliht sim 2000.The difference is that I just cannot see the volcano erupting. Am i doing something wrong?

If your at say 12k and are having severe turbulence how can you ask for a new flight level, in FS2K2? I saw a posting by a Bruce Nickoslson about getting a new flight level, but I haven't seen any ATC that gives you that option. Any help on that?Hocky, Texas Air Aces,Houston TX

The FS2K2 Flight Planner does not take into account the terrain height along the route. In a short trip, such as from Nice C

I downloaded an excellent panel for B737 by Helio Estrela and installed it. The problem now is that my FS2002 wont start! It only gets as far as the splash screen and then a comment comes up saying there is an error - Roger Wilco not installed. I've tried looking for this program and found a few utilities for it but I would really like to get my FS 2002 up and running again. Can anyone help?KD

Well after a long mental debate I have decided to investigate the plausibility of an OS upgrade and here is my reasoning. I have been told, by a number of people, that WinMe cannot use anything over 512 RAM. Well, what with all the lovely add-ons I'm using - DF734, RCv.3, ActiveSkywxRE and FSFlightMax, I'm kinda getting down on RAM and it shows occasionally. At least I think that's what's causing problems. I actually once got a message to the effect that my system was "dangerously" low on resource. That was scarry!Can I just copy my existing files over to a new HD with a different operating system - I mean, can I get a computer tech to do it?This would allow me to put in …

I was a little nostalgic for a trip I made last year from Michigan to California and back in my plane-started looking through pictures and then got the idea of doing the same trip in Fs and comparing real shots to the sim. I may embelish the idea in the future-add more shots-and a story line-and add other trips of a similar kind I have made in the past. My throttles have become split, with my CH Yoke throttle only controlling the left engine. No amount of searching the forums, net, or FS configurations has been able to fix this, which seems unbelievable to me.In old FS I think you could just double click between them to sync them up, but that doesn't work.How can I fix this??

Need help...I have a reasonably up to date system: AMD 1900+, 512mb ram, Gforce3 200ti on Windows XP.What I don't understand is why it takes so long for FS2002 to load. The splash screen time is 40 seconds, the elevation/textures/ATC time is an additional 40 to 50 seconds. Every time I change a flight, time, or season it is another 40 to 50 seconds to load the textures etc. again. Is this normal loading time? I realize that this is a huge program, but these times seem excessive. It distracts from the enjoyment of the program. I ran FS2000 on the same machine using Millennium and the loading was less than half that time. The simulator runs smoothly with good frame …

Hi all.Since there are man people with great knowledge in this forum, I thought I'd ask here.A friend and I had a discussion where he said that the most southern point in the USA in Key West just made it by about 10 miles compared to the most southern point of Texas (somewhere south of Brownsville).I told him that I believe that the most southern point of Texas must be in reference to Florida somewhere in the Miami area and that it is much more then 10 miles from Miami to Key West using a straight line.Where could we find a map or something that would give us the exact coordinates where we could see in what relation to Florida the most southern point of Texas is?Or could …
