I am trying to find scenery for JFK. I some how lost part of the airport. Some of the buildings are white and I keep getting error messages when ever I try to use the airport. Any suggestions?

I'm using the latest aardvark ac but little difference in fps meaning still low around airports. Disabling all ai gets frames back to normal.I really expected better results with low poly ac :-( . I do have a low end system but still...

I made a strange observation yesterday. I was flying from Moscow to New York on Samdim's Il-62M and decided to rely on the "select frequency, but do not call" trick for the long Atlantic crossing, so that I could let the plane fly on A/P while I was attending to my family duties :-) .Well - when I returned to my computer later that night I found that I was just approaching the Canadian/U.S. border, and a look into the ATC window told me I was in range of Boston Centre. Hey to allMaybe a old one but works fine for me read this :This is a set of small files to stop the intermittent flashing of grass thru the concrete apron atapproximately 210 airports worldwide. Also, some of the airports have concrete aprons or taxiways added. On some of the airports, I did not notice any bleed thru or disappearing taxilines on my computer but made a fix file anyway since the problems were seen by others. Approximately 25 of these files were created by Hans van Wyhe of The Netherlands. He has volunteered to keep me up on fixes for the European area. Merry Christmas all, I have been looking for the latest version of CH's Control Manager. I believe it is v1.23.I have searched everywhere,it seems that the CH site is down and has been down for awhile.Does anyone know where I can get this download, I believe it used to be free.It does a great job of not kicking my pedals "out" of my usb hub.Thanks fot any help. I recently had to re-install FS2002 now i get this flickering when i change the display settings while flying it flickers right away and doesnt stop. Anybody know how to fix this problem?-JC-

hey guy's! I am looking for someone To Help me with this new program i got! It is the trial Version of Paint Shop Pro, and i would like info on how to use it to make AI Repaint's?? Especially with FSPainters AI Models?? As i don't know how to use it yet, so i have 29 days to learn and do a couple repaint's before the program locks up, and i half to pay to use it again! Need some help here. Today, I installed the Rapidshot screen cap program as I thought it would be pretty cool. It installed fine, but I never tested it out. This evening, I decided to install a new panel for the default 172. I decided to try Charles A Grimes's replacement panel. Now, when I start FS2k2, it locks up on the splash screen with half of it showing the 747 and the top half just black. It will sit like this for a little while, then show a "loading elevations" box and finally completely lock up. I tried removing the Rapidshot software but did not follow the directions and backup the default 172 panel. I have dozens of addons, both payware and freeware and …

I just upgraded computers and I've finally got WinXP after using Win98 for years. I can't seem to find a way to copy my flightplans and paste them to the kneeboard like I used to. With Win98 you could assign a "phantom" printer, open the document in Word and copy it from there. With XP it seems to want an actual printer that is attached to the system. Anybody know what I need to do with XP? Thanks for the help...

Hi, A few days ago someone had asked question in regards to which utilities to use to take screen shots and I remember someone named "MWsnap" as one to use plus others. I have helped Randy a little with the readme file that outlines installation and other useful information relating to the package and also by testing each generation of his efforts to provide a good view package. I love them, but the stall speeds are way too low (88K in dirty config). I tried adjusting in the aircraft.cfg, but no matter what I input, the plane always stalls at the same speed. Any help? Thanks

I know this is very subjective. However, that being said, I am looking for the best combination in an ATR of an air file and virtual cockpit. There are so many ATR's available, I would appreciate any recommendations you could give.Thanx a lot,

I have a friend who is trying to copy the screen to the clipboard to put in a paint program. When he hits the "print screen" button his printer starts printing-doing this on my computer causes the screen to be copied to the clipboard. I've been messing around with a lighting config for the FS Painter's MD-11 to get some great effects like Camil and some others have been able to do with the A330 and other aircraft. But I can't figure out the alignment. Has anyone come up with a lighting config for this wonderful plane that they're really pleased with? Thanks for any help you can provide.-A. Villegas

Just recently...just a couple minutes into FS, my system will reboot! Windows run excellent except FS, I don't have any other games installed just FS, I don't think it would be a video issue, as everything was running great until recently. Even sometime while turning my system on in the morning, it will reboot before making it to Windows, sometimes it hang on the XP loading screen. After once or twice rebooting itself, it is fine, runs great, I don't know what is causing this, I hope its not too serious, considering I really can't afford to build a new system or replace any parts until tax refund season...please help me if you can, thanks and Merry Christmas!Danny (Fiv…

I've got a couple of days off now, and was going to work on an AFCAD overlay for Shez's LGA scenery - as I want the Delta and US Airways flights to go to their proper terminals. Just checking no-one else has this in the works?Rob

I downloaded Simflyer's KPHL scenery and installed it as a demo. I know that those big cubes are supposed to be there in the demo, but are the runways supposed to be missing too? Also, is there any way to get rid of those ugly rows of flat trees and the fake Philadelphia skyline? This is the first Simflyers scenery I've tried and I must say I'm a little disappointed. I guess I'm spoiled by some of the freeware sceneries, like those of Shehryar Ansari and Craig & Steve Mosher, to be asked to pay for something that is obviously inferior.ThanksRay

HELP....I just installed the latest Nvidia drivers for my Geforce4 Ti 4200. These drivers have greatly decreased my frames in FS2k2. I was wondering what driver version works the best for FS2k2 and what location can I download it??? I've heard people mention a version here on this form, a driver that people have went back to when they've ran into trouble with newer drivers. It seems Nvidia got it right once and that was the end of that.Thanks for any feedback and/or help I can get on this.
