Anybody know how to change the N-numbers on the AI aircraft so that I can at least have a few Canadians flying in Canadian airspace. MS thinks that nothing but USA registered planes are flying in the world.http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifRC3 - Just gotta' have it!http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifhttp://www3.telus.net/dport1/dansig.jpg

My last flight was earlier today (12/22) I flew from Anchorage Alaska (PNAC) to Narita Japan (RJAA)using the Polar Air Cargo 747-400Fv3 made by POSKY.It was a good flight, great scenery out of Anchorge. Suprisingly I had good weather almost the whole flight. Only problem I had was upon Landing, after turning off the autothrotle 2 of the engines were producing more power than the other 2. I have no idea how it happened or what to do about it. I landed (I did make a smooth landing) way long and not at the correct landing speed (when I finally got the the plane down and fully stopped I was almost at the end of the runway) When I tried to taxi to the cago area I would let go …

I remember reading somewhat recently that someone was producing an add-on for FS2k's ATC... I think it was some kind of an "expansion" to the original ATC, it let you choose other runways and opt for different flight levels, etc...Does anyone know the details about this add-on?

Hi!I've(had :-( ) installed the Boeder Crosscheck Digital Joystick. But from one day to the other, the joystick was deleted(don't ask me how this could happen, but as I've Windows as an OS, you never should wonder about those things...).But the bad thing about it is that I can't install the joystick any more. If I try so, I can install the joystick drivers, but when it comes to calibrate the joystick, I get the error message as you can see below. There's an error with the systemfile(don't know if you call it so): "joy.cpl".I've tried to extract the original Win98 joy.cpl and copy it to the WindowsSystem Folder, but it always get's replaced automatically by the old(buggy) f…

But after sitting at an airport where that AI is supposed to be served, they dont show up. Any help is greatly appreciated! Can someone give me a basic laydown on what i am supposed to do?

Hi,Perhaps it's an FS2002 inherent 'feature', but I thought I ask, maybe there is a solution to this:Whenwever I have the 2D panel on the screen, the lights at night such as VASIs or the runway lights look crips and are small dots. When the 2D panel is not visible, the lights are bigger blobs and when still quite a distance away from an airport the lights look far too large. Is there any setting that can be changed to get rid of these light blobs ?Thanks for any hint.Cheers,Siggy

Well, this ones got me stumped. It used to work just fine, up until SP1, I think it was SP1 that might have screwed it up. Anyways, I have no problems with any other applications communicating over my network, all other games work great... FS2002 has some kind of problem connecting to the host computer on the LAN. The client trying to connect to the serving computer can see the name of the sever no problem, he can even view the message in the message window that you get when you bgrowse for network games, but the HOST IP is not visible. But when trying to connect, the game will just sit there for 5 minutes looking for the connection. I have tried everything with thi…

Every now and then I still get the FS2002 menu with black boxes on them when I fly in 3D mode. The only way to stop this from happening is to turn off FSAA. Anyone have a work around for this and is anyone still getting this problem. I have a G4ti4400 with the 40.72 drivers. I have reinstalled the video drivers and it still comes up. I hate to turn off FSAA but what else is there to do.

Hi all, Anyone know if the Ch pedals (usb) and PFC yoke can work together?? The yoke would be hooked up to my throttle quad from PFC (serial). I remember that the CH usb yoke and gameport pedals (or vica-versa) don't work together. Thanks for any info..Rob

Hello,I'm new to flight sim. I have a question.I fly POSKY 767s, 747s and A330s. I usually climb to FL340 with 90% N1, and once it settles at FL340 I reduce N1 to around 65%. Now the problem is these aircrafts tend to settle at those altitude at an awkward angle of attack, around 5-10 degrees above the horizon. Is this normal? I tried adjusting the pitch but that would only result in the aircraft losing altitude, before automatically climbing back to FL340 and again settle at that angle (I use the AutoPilot, except for the AutoThrottle). I thought it was peculiar to POSKy aircraft, but it seems that it happens to all other add-on aircrafts (CSI, FFG)as well. About the onl…

Hey Everyone. I've been toying with FSNavigator for a while now and I can't understand what seems should be a easy fix, but no luck yet. When I build a simple flight plan in FSBuild, I then send it to FSNavigator. When I plan the flight in FS2002, you have to specify IFR to get the High Altitude Airways to become an option. (At first I didn't know if there was some sort of interface that runs FS2002 Nav off FSNavigator) which would be great! I find that I can't take off IFR without planning it the same through FS2002. Therefore I went back and exported the same flight plan from FSBuild to both FSNavigator AND FS2002, ok fine. The main problem I'm having is that when I take…

To AVSIM,Your stats show the level of service to us. You would not have such impressive numbers if it were not for the hard work of your entire staff. I, like many, check in to your site at least once a day just to see what's going on. Almost like a quick look at a news paper. I wouldn't do that if the content and service were not as good as it is.So Thank YOU and I hope the new year brings you all the more success.Dave

another beautiful plane becomes available. There was a post a couple weeks ago the Bill Lyons was about to release something nice, but nothing since, so I visited the Golden Eagles site and, out comes the credit card, for a vintage Ryan STA Sportster set with scenery and flights. I will try to attach a screenshot to give you the impetus to check out their site. Just had a couple of flights, but this is right up with the most beautiful and nice flying vintage planes. No autopilot or fancy electronics, but a faithful recreation of one of the niftiest planes of the thirties. By the way, the title line suggests that I have more planes than I can maintain familiarity w…

I've tried unhooking, re-calibrating, etc to no avail...I guess its time to get the new CH Yoke...where is a good place online to buy one from?
