Hey guys, just got a couple of questions.1. Where is a good FS store that has just about everything? Avsim's store is good, but doesn't quite have the selection I am looking for. 2. where can I find good freeware AI?3. IS there a payware (or freeware) ATC add-on that adds more ATC options/flexability??thanks.

Hiya guys, I recently installed Direct X 9,though I have no scrapped the idea of that being the problem. I had all the buttons working perfectly and the way I want them. Then for no apparent reason,I lose more than half the available buttons! The computeer just wont detect them, its weird I agree but with the 727 released and all...I want my setup back. It's not realistic without them, anyone got ANY ideas?RegardsJohn Mc AvinueEINN/BAV 855Senior captainhttp://www.bavirtual.co.ukP 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600

Hello all, and a Happy New Years Eve of course. Not too long ago, I decided to purchase LAGO's Ultralights. However, I went to the site and it was down, so I went to www.simmarket.com and registered there. Upon recieving my key, I realized that I have no installer. Unfortunately, all links to the installer that I know of are broken, as they are all (obviously) hosted by LAGO. Because of my shortsightedness, I now have a key, but nothing to fly tonight which leads me to my question. Does anybody here have an idea of when the LAGO site will be back up? Or, does anybody here know of a download for the installer that isn't broken? Thanks in advance, and Happy New Years…

I just completed the survey and reviewed the results and we have a big problem here at Avsim. Based on the results, it seems 3 people cannot figure out what their gender is! ;) Dean Karis

I'am not amused that IADG is again gone online, anyway the file is not found. I wonder who is to blame this time, or did they move again to another server. Also Simubuild is off line again. Do they forgot to pay the server, or are they stressed again over something. Maby someone can give me a new adress of these great sites. I hope that the 757, made by IADG will be released today, as they said on the IADG forum.I wish you all a very good new year.Best regards,

Many of us have FS2002 on one drive or partition and the OS on another. Reloading the OS causes the Registry entries for FS2002 to be deleted. Shown below are the Registry data needed to get things right again after the OS reload without having to reinstall FS2002. Just copy everything below the dotted line into a Notepad file and name the file WhatEverYouWant.reg (be sure to change the lines for "EXE Path" and "CDPath" to match the installation on your system). After saving the .reg file all you need do is double-click it to execute the Registry update. Someone sent me this info long ago and while I no longer recall whom it was that did so, I'd like to say thanks again a…

I have developed a radar gauge that is now included in many fighter panels, such as F-16, Mirage 4000, rafale and others. I often escort or intercept AI aircraft, it is a great experience.I have noticed that in some cases, AI aircrafts keep on going up and down instead of keeping a constant altitude, or a constant climb rate. This happens often in bad weather, with clouds and wind. It is very strange for aircrafts in final approach, the flight comes to a crash before touching the runway...Do you see the same strange behavior? Can I do something to avoid this? Thanks,Eric

tcreagh2Check out these a/c (site link on front page of AVSIM)and you will find good value for your money ($14.95)....terrific VFR a/c especially when used with active cam...I've flown a real Challenger and I find the FS a/c is pretty close to the numbers.Ted CreaghCYQT

I have not seen this problem posted anywhere. I have lago scenery enhancer and every time I try to use it I get an error message that microsoft has experienced an error and must close, and closes the sim. I have emma field by lago and that works perfect. My friend has scenery enhancer and has never gotten an error message while using it. Anyone have any ideas?:-hmmm

Sup dudes, First off,let me state that I'm not computer illiterate. Now,I'm assuming my problem was caused by installing Directx9 because ever since I installed it,my Ch products Flight yoke(PC) now only has about 4 buttons showing/working when there should be 10!I've tried re-installing the drivers, using system restore but I still have Directx 9 and I still have my problems,is there any way around this? Does anyone know the cause?Cheers in advance

Hi all,I posted a similar question earlier, but it quickly slid down this page unanswered. So let me ask a different and very simple question: has anyone out there successfully hosted (not joined) a multiplayer game when connected to the internet through a router? If so, what is the make and model of your router?I have an SMC Barricade that is giving me all sorts of grief. I want to try a different manufacturer, but would prefer to use one that someone else has had success with.

Hi all,I am having trouble using the EditVoicePack for FS. I select the 'update airlines.cfg and when when I go into MSFS2002 all the new ATC callsighn names are available but they are not used. The callsign is not displayed on the ATC text or spoken. So instead of 'clipper 1123 climb and maintain...') it will just be '1123 climb and maintain...')How do I get the callsigns not only to be displayed on the airlines listing but to be recognised by ATC? What folder are the calsigns kept for MSFS?thanks

With Echoplate shutting down next year, I'm looking for options to have a relatively complete set of SIDs and STARs on my system. I know Jep has the SimCharts product, but it's a little pricey (about $65 for the U.S. and $30 extra for Europe, $30 for Canada). I realize this is cheap vs. real updated charts, but for simming it seems like it might be a bit overkill. Does anybody know any other options that are less expensive but feature most SIDs and STARs for the U.S and Europe? Thanks for any help you can offer,Philip.

Hi all,to whom have the twotter and uses the one with skies: Is there with FS2k2 realy a scenery of winter ans snow and ice to have a real as it gets experience with this twotter? Or would do a wheel version do it as well without any differences to experience? And if there is a difference and a realy case of using the skie version of the twotter, where to fly and land this nice plane?CiaoTorben.
