I can get the doors through reasigning the keys but the lighting, fuel heating, engine fire and the checklist key combos are not working. I have tryed all combonations. I HAVE read the manual! Can anyone help?

I went back the other day to Abacus' Corporate Pilot. I just need to tell you that these planes, panels, and sounds are WAY AHEAD OF THEIR TIME. The GMAX planes have nothing on them. I flew the Falcon and the Citation, and they are absolutely GREAT! If you don't have this program....you should get it. It's probably pretty cheap out there now. I got it when it was first released, and when I go back to it, I'm still pretty amazed. Stan

Hi All.Happy new year and best of the season to you all.My question is..........How do you ajust the fuel burn of a particular plane. Is it done in the *.cfg or *.air file.I know, I know I am listening to the FS 2K2 planner that says I should burn 456 gals for example, and I burn 950-985 gals. Almost double, and changing altitude does not seem to make a difference. I am using the "economy" setting.Any ideas?David.

Having just installed XP Pro on my system I have run across the famous "Yes, you have bought a Microsoft product, and yes you spent heaps on that Microsoft hardware, but they don't work together when you spend extra money on a Microsoft product like Flight Simulator 2002, and yes we know about it but we are not going to do anything about it because there is no money in it!" problem. (Note dripping sarcasm)Anyhow, some other programs can at least use the sidewinder as a non force-feedback joystick. Is there any workaround to at least get this to happen with FS 2002? (And yes, I have searched the forums and the archives) :)Any help appreciatedMark Underwood(Adelaide, Aus…

For those looking to make more realistic flights, I have two tips I recently learned-While passing through Harrisburg, I grabbed a 2002 flight guide. Much to my suprise I found that it contains schedules for flights to every airport less than three links away. That means that I have flight times, flight numbers and equipment (prop or jet) to and from about 150 major airports in the US and about 50 international (all over the world). Now when I fly (I mostly fly DF's 737-400) I pick a real simultaneous flight from my current airport and try to keep to the actual flight schedule! I'll provide the address to anyone who wants to send away for this (free) book. Also, a pilo…

Hi, I am new to Flight Sim, but love it very much.I wanted to ask, If I get added scenery, and aircraft, how do I install the downloaded file, and get it to work.I know it might sound like a silly question, but I am new to all this, and don't want to stuff anything up.Thanks again. Tomcat 61

Lately I've been having a problem where I can't open readme files in a zip file. Winzip tells me that the file is corrupted, and on another drive it seemed that that happened too. It seems to have happened suddenly, it used to work before. Thanks for any advice

I've been noticing this for a very long time, but it wasn't until today that I came up with words to express it...I've seen many times that critiques to payware products have been answered by users with the usual "Don't like, don't buy" things or the "please do not complain like that, or they will leave the market" or "stop whining like a little kid" and I could go on and on. Not poiting any fingers though. We are constantly told that we should think about the hours and hours of hard work, the time away from the family, the research, the stress ,etc, etc. However, whenever a negative psot about MSFS is done, I hear NO ONE defend the FS developpement team like they do with o…

All,Does anyone know if MS have addressed that there is a BLURRY TEXTURE PROBLEM with both FS2002 and CBFS III?Is is apparent that autogen takes place before the ground textures are fully produced. Are there two levels of textures or three? Meaning-When I fly using my Pentium IV at 2.0 and my Ti4600,the textures below me take a while to fully produce to perfect quality. I've tweaked my card to infinity and beyond.Just want to know if MS has actually acknoeledge this issue and working on a better effort to resolve for FS2004.Thanks.TimVideo Card: GeForce Ti 4600Driver: 40.52CPU: Pentium IV-2.0RAM: 768

I know this is not exactly FS2002 related but... I know this forum gets looked at the most and I'm hoping to drum up support for IL-2 Sturmovik as well as it's sequel due out in a few months (Forgotten Battles). Check out these movies that a user made using in-game footage. I just saw the 25 meg version and it's incredible. The download times are fantastic at the links below...http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~chapman/flightsi...ies/JG54Ave.WMV (8Mb)http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~chapman/flightsi...EQUIEM_705k.wmv (25Mb)

Hi,Since FS v5 I look for realistic simulations like:1- Land in a wet runway with correct drag;2- Land without one landing gear with realistic reactions;3- Enter in a thunderstorm cloud and "feel inside it";4- Apply too much pressure on breakes and damage it;5- Etc...I don't think it's too hard to make it "as real as it gets"Ulisses

I use my mouse pointer almost exclusively to make turns, set VOR vectors, change radio and VOR frequencies, raise/lower gear and flaps, etc. . It has only recently begun to hang up on each panel instrument, gear/flap movement, or when increasing/decreasing the altitude while using the auto pilot. This annoying problem occurs only after hitting "alt-enter" to go to a full screen. It does not occur when the screen is shown with the Windows XP bottom "Start" bar and the top FS2002 tools bar visible. I have tried everything I can think of to correct it, but, of late, it persists. Anyone else encounter this mouse problem? If so, how did you "fix" it? My thanks in advance for a…

Hello all,I have a question concerning Bill Grabowski'a great 145 panel.Does anyone know why the airplane wants to be very jumpy when I have other add-on a/c installed in FS2002? I have experimented and found that when I have only the 145 installed it flies fine, no jumping around when viewed from the cockpit. When I install other a/c I get an airplane that is all over the place in the air and on the ground.I am using a G-force MX200 graphics card and the latest FSUIPC.Also I have the Fs2002fm1 file istalled, the one that completes the default a/c.Any ideas on how to remedy this problem would be helpful. Thanks
