Hi all, Question... Of the following Boeing aircraft types, which are NO LONGER in production? 707, 717, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777. If any model of the above types are in production I would consider the type in production.Thanks - swj

Does a force feedback yoke exist? if so where can one be bought?

I would like to know which FS2002 a/c (pref. the freeware ones) have wing views, so that is possible to see the wing of an aircraft if you look back from the cockpit. I'm not interested in bitmaps which should kind of represent a wing ('cause they don't). I just love MelJet 747. The wings are superb, they bend and have lots of detail, animated flaps and spoolers, moving engine fans...As far as I know, there is an Ariane B737 GMAX (Aeroflot) and Meljet's 747 and from today on 777. Any other suggestions?

i cant get on the fsd forums for some strange reason, so i was hoping someone could help me herei had to reinstall the c115tc due to computer problems, and now when i run the service realease 1 and 2 they both come up and say that the 115 istn't installed !! and yet it is and yes i point to the same foldercan anyone help me with this?thanksciao!Brian S

I would like to have a realistic rendition of Spain especially the airports which I fly to Real life.These are Malaga, Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona, San Sebastian and Bilbao.I have the Lago terrain mesh. I just installed the great new BAE 146-200 from Jon Murchison at http://www.arnz.myhost.co.nz along with the panel from the Avsim library mlarjpv3.zipGreat looking plane and panel but now my FS sound is distorted. It makes a scratchy, squeeky sound, not just in this a/c but also in the default Cessna. Any ideas how to restore the good sound back?******************************************************************Easy solution to the problem......... re-installed the a/c and the panel and everything now okay! :-beerchug

Not being the brightest of individuals I am totally confused about the 727. I have looked at the screenshots etc and the 727 looks very good and I am tempted to buy.However after reading the messages on the forum I ask myself 1. is it worth the money 2. Can I now download it and install now without any problems 3. Do I risk losing my money or risk becoming involved in some fraud. The messages of the forum are very mixed. Johns

Earlier i had annouced that i was uploading an afcad overlay for Airport 2000 vol 2 KMIA; i still plan on uploading but you won't see it until tonight. Sorry folks, the reason is i've been living in the "real world" for the last week or so. Stay tuned, i won't disappoint.On I related matter has anyone figured out how to flatten the ground at Airport 2000 airfields well enough that you won't bounce around and crash? My overlays are nice but it's a real B^#(@ taxiing around!

Hi All and Happy New Year:I changed the folder and aircraft naming syntax of my FS2002 installation to something that helps me better ID the aircraft based on model, flyability in my installation, FDE and a serial ID. I use the registry number as controlling. Thus, for example one of my default baron repaints that I want to be AI only becomes "Beechcraft58Baron_AI_Microsoft_Small_N660T". This is the folder name as well as the aircraft ID in the "title" line of the aircraft.cfg. The aircraft will load into FS2002 perfectly.I repeat this for each of my aircraft installs including the MS default aircraftUnderstandably, I lost all my AI when I did this. So, I used the Tr…

Lurking in my download folder was a file hydepark.bgl (I may have renamed it), with a February 2002 date. I can't remember where I downloaded it, I have no documentation, and I don't know what texture files are required, but the new large grey area in central London shows some are needed! ISTR the file was meant to correct the omission of hyde park from the FS2002 scenery. I've searched in the usual places without success - anyone else recall this file? Thanks__Bryn

When I open the map it displays the grid, the airplane, and the tower ONLY. No airports, navaids, etc. This happens about half the time: the other half everything is there. Anyone else seen this? Any ideas?It's not drivers nor directx but it may be related to messing with scenery and/or AI traffic. Any help?

Hi,Since yesterday, all my AI turboprop aircrafts are making a crazy danse just after the scenery is loaded. Then it stops. Then my Cessna keeps crashing when starting its engine: in fact it collapse on itself as if there were no ground under.I am completly ????What shall I do?I begin to think there has been an overwrite of a file that was common to AI trafic and my Cessna. I've seen alot of upgrade questions lately. I have one, but it's a bit different.I'm building a new system. I've already got everything picked out, I'm just waiting for the prices to drop a little more before buying. It won't really be an upgrade because the only thing I'm keeping from my current system is the CDRW.I'm not planning on putting a floppy drive in the new system. The last time I used this one is when I flashed my BIOS. That is my question. How will I flash the BIOS without a floppy? I thought about burning the ROM to a bootable CDRW, but I haven't played with it yet. Any ideas?I still have FS 4.0 on a 720k floppy, I guess I just won't play it on the n…

Hi,I have just downloaded the new YS-11 from AFG, and I was reading through the docs supplied.It says that the engine/s will fail under certain conditions.Does this work?, are there any other planes avalible with this addition or is it easy to implement in other planes?.I don't know if it's been done before (I have not seen it as yet) and I am excited about how it will work, it should stop me thrashing the living daylights out of my planes :)Dan.
