It seems ever since I installed SP1 for XP Home, when I click on a file link, windows automatically starts downloading the file without giving me an option of where to save it to, its really annoying, does anyone know how to fix that? Is it normal for the night textures to show through the grass texture at the airports at dusk and dawn? For about an hour during sunrise and sunset, the night textures show through the grass at my airports. It's expecially distracting when the underlying texture is a metropolitan texture. It makes it extremely hard to land since it is difficult to see the runways with all the lights around them. These "show thru" night textures are not visible at any other time. I just purchased the Dreamfleet Archer-nice plane but I'm having one major problem.When I place the cursor over the heading bug knob,or over the various knobs that change the com/nav frequencies, I only can get a "+"sign, and then, surprisingly, the resultant change only occurs in one direction only, lower. For example, I can get the heading bug to move counter-clockwise but not clockwise, and I can only get comm/nav frequencies to go lower, not higher. Anyone else have this problem or aware of a fix? hi allwhen i use Active Sky wxre sometimes (not always and not because the program is downloading) the framerate drops down to 1.5 (before 20-30). maybe it has to do with the clouds (big black clouds). when i delete all weather settings it works fine, but only for a short time until Aktive Sky downloads the weather. this really does not happen always, only with special weather conditions.also i guess it's only happening when i use the FSVIPC settings like recomanded from Active Sky Autor.can someone help me?thank's a lotmarkus

I downloaded the Ron Freimuth/Paul Golding 707-320C that I'm running with FS2002Pro on XP. Flies great in every respect...BUT when it's on the ground, the wheels sink down so that the belly of the ship is sitting right on the ground! It's like the plane thinks the ground is six feet or so lower than it is. Grrrr...very frustrating. It doesn't give me a crash and, in fact, taxies just fine (with the exception of no landing lights on the wheels, naturally, because they're buried in the earth). Anyone know what might be wrong and if there's an easy fix?Thanks in advance :)

As of about 5:30 PST both FSMeteo servers are not responding and FS Real Weather is timing out. Any idea what's going on? My connection is working fine. Can access Internet, email, etc.Jeff EvansSMF

Hi all, I am new to this site, and new to Sims, I just installed MSFS2002, and I am not very happy with graphics.The higher I get, its not to bad, but on the ground, every thing around me is blurry, mainly the ground.Buildings are not to bad, but generally around the aircraft, and alongside the runway, its just blurry patches.Is this normal, can someone post a screenshot of what the ground should look like just on take-off, and on the Holding point.My System is AMD ATHLON 2000, 256 Ram, Nvidea Video card 64 Mb,G force 2 MX 400.Thanks for any help.Cheers...Tomcat61

When I fly one version of a 757 at idle my engine are at 34%. When I fly another one at idle it goes down to 25%. I know some planes have a hard time bleeding off speed... but wow! What do need to do to tweak the engine settings. Also the speed brakes and the reversers are nil? How do I tweak these settings? Finally is there a really good air model of the 757-200/300 that floating around?TIAJon

Hi All;I'm new here, and I just had (what may be a dumb) question. I wanted to purchase the Flight 1 Cessna 421 and noticed that there are 2 different versions offered on their web site. One appears to be for order and the other appears to be for download. The only difference I could tell at first was maybe the flight manual.(???) I just downloaded Ed Truthan Ocean Texture installed it and I have to say they are amaizing to the power of X. Sure deserve the gold medal.I installed them on random kind of, well what I would like to know what combination is the best to achive the best looking water you would find in Tropic, cuba bahamas etc... I kind of don't understand the instruction he wrote which would be the best combo for Tropic.I know I used MODERETE WINDS PACKAGE NE and NE SW SWELLS, but it says that one package gives you more of RAFFS effect or does it matter? I kind of don't get the way he wrote it.... :-roll I don't care which way the waves go really just so it looks best.ThanksAndy

I recently added some scenery to my system and have noticed that FSNav is now missing the taxiways at the airports. I did run the database tool to recreate the FSNav databases.Any ideas how I can get my taxiways back?-- Scotte

For some strange reason the night textures for the Atlanta Hartsfield airport are missing on my system! I don't know why I never noticed this before. Some buildings appear to be lit, but all of the concourse buildings are completely dark!! I checked Seattle and San Francisco and those night textures appear to be OK. Could someone please check their scenery to see if you have the night textures and let me know how to fix this problem?Thanks for your help!Airbus

In some of the add-on aircraft I have loaded after reading some reviews talk about interior views other than Tower, Cockpit Panel, virtual Cockpit and Chase views. Such as Interior views ect. Is there a hot-key other than "s" to see other views. I'm afraid I might really be missing something wonderful. FS2002
