Hiya I am wondering whats going on with Pan Am. I have seen a website detailing the 'new Pan Am' have the started up again?

Has anyone managed to successfully purchase and install the 737-300 liveries-only packages for United Classic, Air Holland Classic or Air Holland New? When I unzip them, I get error messages in both Air Holland files, and all three have empty TEXTURE folders.

HiI'm interested in adding different AI aircraft to my FS2k2, and am interested in the project AI system, but I don't really know what I need to run the program. I also have a few questions about it:Does the PAi work while flying online VATSIM or is it just for offline flying?Hows the impact on framerates?I have AFCAD but what else do I need?Thank You

I have recently gone over to XP and it is suggested that I convert my hard disk to NTFS as it is apparently better than FAT32.Being a cautious guy I am a bit worried that I may cause all sorts of problems to FS2002, so before taking the plunge can any expert out there give me words of advice and wisdom ?ThanksPeter

I know I may have seen this topic in here before but never really had to use it untill now. For some reason, every panel I have used in Fs2k2, the autopilot is disabled. I have checked every aircraft.cfg file to ensure there is a 1 by the enable_autopilot. Even though it is there, I still do not have a functioning autopilot. Also the radio gauges are not working. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why this might have happened or what I can do to fix the problem. Thank you and Happy New Year!!!Shawn Anderson

Hi GuysI remember in the period just after FS2k2 was launched there appeared lots of tips to maximise performance. I am now running a new rig and I did not bring forward all of my previous setting details. Can anyone direct to that site that had all these tips listed. I do want to make the change to the .cfg file that allows you to hold altitude on the autopilot but still allow course changes.I am very happy with my new rig.....all sliders to the right and holding 25 fps most of the time! The ReadMe of version 2, dated October 2002, includes ME, NT4 and 2000, but not - obviously, at that date - Windows XP Home. I can't find a later version. So can anyone tell me whether version 2 is OK for XP?

FS2002Pro will not start due to a download I uninstalled that did not have an uninstall file (Jeppesen's Sem Charts Demo). Now the splash screen comes up then I get a blank screen with an hourglass that refuses to go away.I ran Norton Utilities, a separate Registry cleaner, I eliminated (renamed) the FS2002.cfg, all to no avail. The new CFG just says {STARTUP} ShowLogo=0 since that's all the further the program goes before going belly-up. Hi to all........Just finished upgrading to Widows XP from Windows 98....installed Nivida Driver 41.09 as a suggestion from Ron here on the forum..improved the problem I was having before the new driver.....but now appears that when cruisin along somewhere and want to check for VOR's ect..pull up the MAP VIEW..works fine...click on an Airport or VOR or whatever and the FACILITY INFO screen pops up..no problem...and there are the names of the Airports..VOR, when I click on the highlighted facility.."I GET NO DATA" ??..anyone with suggestions would be be my friend for life !!! Been running 2000 and 2002 for a long time and never have had any major problems till I went to XP…

I have this option set at 'system time' (rather than flight time). My PC is set correctly to the Pacific time zone (now about 12:25 PM) which is GMT - 8. But how come when I start at my local airport (say KOAK or KSFO) the time shown is 8:25 AM ?? When I start at KJFK it is 11:25 PM. It makes very little sense to me. Hi to all......I just installed Windows XP upgrade...I had Windows 98 and had FS2002 runnin like a champ with frame rates at about 22 to 30FPS.....no jaggies...great landmass graphics....twas wunderful!!Well..now I have jaggies all around the aircraft (like saw tooth blades) and shimmering at the airport grond level, looks like extreme heat coming off the ground..wavering..In Windows 98 I ran the system at 4X....that solved all the jaggie problems...but am lost with "XP" ???....My system is fine....512...TI4200 128...am running it on a 30.82 driver (I think that is the one)...and also which is strange is that now the frame rates are up around 50 to 70 ???Any help anyone h…

Hello everyone,I purchaed a copy of Fs Meteorology, and for the most part it seems pretty realistic... However, does anyone know how to make it the clouds "transition" more? It still seems like, you go from completely blue sky, to clouds with no visibility... It just jumps...... Although it is pretty realisitic ..Does anyone else use this software? I'm wondering if anyone can help (and yes, I have read the 'read-me' which is a little confusing). I can't seem to be able to install a new cloud set. The 'example' set workes fine and looks lovely, but if I try a thunderstorm set or puffy clouds or anything else after it - I get no results, just the same example set. It's really starting to get the better of me. I'm about to give up on it! Any idea's?Sincerely, Boone

I am looking for a list of shortcut keys that control the 'lesser used' functions in FS2002 - one I've found is Shift E to open the cockpit door. Does anyone know of any others?

Several months ago it was a big discussion on AVSIM regarding stand off time period. Most people came to the conclusion that 30 minutes is a minimum time which is required for AI Plane in order not to dissapear.I did some experimenting and it seems like something is wrong.I've spotted default VHHH during 7 or 8 hours (in 4x acceleration mode). Most of the planes (767,747, 777) in VHHH have a stand of period about 90-120 minutes. However, even after this huge period time most of them dissapeared. Sometimes, in 3rd party scenery (WSSS and RJAA) planes are dissapering as well but they appearing again in the gates after 2 or 3 minutes. What's matter?Is it a FS bug?Is it a bug…

Previous enjoyment with FS 2002 using the ole trusty slow, low memory computer. Landings weren't always pretty, but I "walked away" from most of them.So Santa brings me this new computer with all the bells and whistles.Pentium 2.4 ghz, 120 gig HD, XP home, 512 DDR SDRAM, GeForce 4 graphics etc. etc. I use a MS Sidewinder precision 2 joystick.Flying seems great.
