Hi All,Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone here!With Winter here, I have started experimenting with ActiveSky and FS2K2 to produce some pretty incredible (realistic!) results. Anyone who hasn't set a low overcast (with a lower scattered layer) and reduced the vis to 1/2 at dusk (with light snow) is missing one incredible experience. Kudos to everone at ActiveSky!My only gripe (gotta complain about something!) is the FS snowflake size and "behaviour" when the aircraft is *stopped*. Hi everybodyI have FS2002 and WindowsXP installed on my maschine. I have a multiuser System, means there are about 7 people who use the computer. FS2002 runs perfectly under a unrestricted account such as the administrator account, but when I try to start it while I'm signed in under a restricted account I get an error message telling me the FS2002 is unable to run under a restricted and that I should try it under a unrestricted account. Hi,as some-one posted how one can alter the rate of the strobe lighting by editing the appropriate effect file with wordpad,if was wondering if it is possbile to edit contrails.I opened the contrail_fx and the other one with wordpad but I couldn't come up with something.could any of you specialists take a look at it and see which parameters could influence the contrail (length,height at which is appears,...)

Hi, well first of all I had better tell you my system specs:Amd 800512MB SDRAMGeforce 2mx 400 64MBMaxtor 30GB HDI want to upgrade my whole system gradually and want to start by getting a GF3.What are your thoughts on this card and would it be the best decision for my current system? Hi to all, i have a problem, i have a Video card that came with my computer, its an Intel 82845G/GL Graphics Controller, sometimes i get good visualisations but some time i dont depends on my setting so i change them to see wich way is the best, i get some blurrys sometimes, i was just wondering what is your Display settings, maybe you can take a picture and post it here of it ,from the display settings in FS2002, the General,Aircraft, and Hardware settings. so i can see how you guys have it and ,maybe it will improve mine....Thanks for your help and HAPPY HOLIDAYS>>>>>:-)

Anyone know the ports used in Multiplayer? I saw somewhere that it might be 2300-2400 (UDP and TCP) and also 42767 (TCP) but that doesn't seem to work.Thanks for any info~

Decided to buy myself a small, early Christmas present so got a webcam specifically to try Cam2Pan. I've got my webcam set up and working but.... arrrrggggg! ... mousevision's website seems to be down :(Anyone know where else I might be able to download Cam2Pan?? Hello Everyone! I need your help (again :)) My CH Products USB Yoke LE and my CH Products USB rudder pedals keep "sleeping." Sometimes, when I start Flight Sim, the two pieces of hardware aren't working. To get them to work I have to unplug them from the computer and plug them back in. I think I am having the same problem as Ulisses is having in the post located here. Those who posted mention things about a "via" chipset, how can I find out what chipset I have? My system is an Intel Pentium III 850, with Win XP pro installed. I have already tried messing with the hardware's power off features but they don't seem to work. Thanks for your help again! I am running FS2002 & RC on an Athlon XP 2100+, Asus A7V333 Mobo with 256mb 333mhz DDR Ram on Win XP Pro. Ain't got a clue if any of that is relevant or not? The CH Virtual Pilot Pro when used with the Win XP Drivers that I d/loaded a while ago either from Avsim or CH site seem to have a problem on my system. I installed the new drivers and then calibrated the yoke and everything worked fine. The problem arises with the throttle control when I use it in Flightsim. A few revs to move the aircraft is ok then when I cut the revs..... or try..... the throttle control on the panel doesn't go all the way back and I have to drag the throttle back with my mouse otherwise my s…

Hi,Is there a way I can decrease the amount of G-limit penalties I get, it seems that I only have to go through some turbulance and I get loads of them, which usually results in a broken fuel tank.ThanksDan.

is it possible to do it? I have two copies of fs2002.cfg, one is the one I use when using the Yoke for jets, the other is configured for GA aircraft. Is there any start parameters that go with fs2002.exe? something like fs2000.exe /s xxx.cfg or something like that.Thanks,

Catch 'em while you can. Ariane is selling individual liveries for 5 pounds a piece. Seems like every current livery is offered for the '300 and '400. Now I have to struggle with a decision--which ones to get. If you could afford three, which would you choose? I'm thinking about the KLM, Southwest and America West New liveries....
