Every time I try to use FS2002 planner and file an IFR flight plan from PHTO to PHLU (using VOR to VOR) is finds the route ok, when you hit fly now, FS2002 tells me this? (see pic)Is their no way to file IFR out of PHTO?Anyone ever see this error before?Thanks

This just started a couple of days ago is getting worse...my monitor (screen) colors keep changing...dimming and yellowing and then returning to proper colors, now fading into a dimmer screen, white varies from bluish to yellowish.Anyone familiar with this as a symptom of a graphics card failure or monitor dying? Can't really try out another card or monitor to test without a lot time and trouble, I suspect the monitor...?Geforce 4 MMX 440 (less than 1 year old) with an Optiquest monitor 3 years old.

Well, finally, after messing around with unofficial (but great working!) drivers for Windows 2k/XP Saitek finally released working drivers for the Saitek X-45.Unfortunately Rotary switch 1 isn't working in FS2K2! The rotary is recogniced in the Calibration menu in windows. It is also selectable in the FS2K2 axses menu BUT when I assign it to the mixtrue control axsis it doesn't function in the sim itself! No matter what assignment I give it, it refuses to operate!After research I ran the joystick axsis through FCUIPC but within this program the rotary doesn't work either!!Are there any X-45 owners here at Avsim that use the new Saitek drivers and managed to get the rotary…

Hello - I have recently reinstalled F2002, installed PAI planes (ones with new installer only) and purchased the new Active Sky weather program. I have been searching the forums for an old topic that I can't find so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction - I'm getting the old "flat cloud" issue -you know when you pass through clouds and you look out your side window and they are vertical lines. My computer is a P4, 640MB Ram, GE3 TI200 card - any help is appreciated and sorry if I'm bringing up an overdiscussed topic.Steve

I may have found the answer to eliminate the "blue band" on the horizon when experiencing an overcast sky.Try the following:1) Download FSUIPC Version 2.95 (December 2002).This version now has a separate surface visibility maximum for rainy/snowy weather.2) Under the visibility option, set clear at 6000,3) set cloudy at 6000,4) set o/cast at 400,5) set rainy at 400.If you are using FS-Meteo, do not enable "use default visibility."The overcast isn't quite as "crisp", but I can live with that.This worked for me, but systems are different. I just ordered MyTraffic (without thinking)now I'm wondering do the new planes thats included with this software have landing lights that are visible at night??? Some people commented on the fact that some aircraft look like FS98 models. So that made me wonder how do the lights look at night. Do these new planes have the same strobe lights as the default traffic or do they look generic at night???Another question is I saw a preview picture of this software with planes parked at O'Hare's terminal. I tried using the PSS A320 airfile with the Posky a330 as soemone told me to do in this forum but now i can't get the aircraft to show up in Fs2002 with the PSS airfile.I must have to change something in the airfile to get the aircraft to show up bewcause it does show up when i use the original Posky airfile so how does one do this as it obviously works for u people who use the PSS airfile with the Posky a330??

Since I've had Fs2002 pro, every once in awhile ...the zoom in and out with the +, -, keys, with or without the shift key, will stop working in spot view. I have to go to another view, come back to spot, and it will be ok. Then at some time, it will do it again. Any work around other then going in and out of the spot view? A small problem, but annoying. Thanks in advance.

Just installed the new lighting effects. When flying through fog and clouds I get this stray landing light on the starboard side only. It goes away when weather is clear. Anyone else notice this?GrantM
