Hi I just bough a GF4 Ti 4200 128MB RAM 8x AGP and was wondering if anyone could recommend some drivers or tweaks even if they seem obvies to you, I was using GF@ 256 before there weren't much trick to that so couldn't be changed.I right now use 31.40, which kind of came with the card they work OK, and of course I can't expect miracles since my system is from the ICE AGE :-) , however the card is the first step to my new system i plan on making as money allow and whenever the 8x MOBO's are out for P4's waiting for ASUS P4G8X to come out.I understand that it's king of hard to give advice on drivers as all systems ain't made eaqul, but some hint even some obvies to some of …

Hi all. I've been seeing that FSUIPC seems to be the solution to the Fokker 100PAB A320 computer lock-ups. I have these folders tucked away because I fear lock-ups too. And we know FS2K2 can be a little twichy, so I don't want to anger it anymore than I have to.So what's this magic program?I don't multiplayer or fly on-line. Is it really that mandatory to have? HiI have the following problem:I made a ground texture using a 1024 x 1024 texture. Making the textures 256 colours, the whole 1024 pixels are showed. But as soon as I let the colours at 16Mil and convert the image using DXTBmp, it seems as only the 512 pixels mip is loaded, the pictures looks very blury and .. yes 512 pixels style. Any chance to force FS2K2 using the full 1024 texture?The error appeared after I reinstalled my system with WinXP.ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!THANKS in adcance & happy holidaysMario

HiI recently got the German airports series scenery, and i find them spectacular exept for the static and dynamic planes that appear at the airports. I don't find any info on how to remove them(if possible) so i was wondering if anyone here has any idea on how to do that.Thanks in advanceHenrique

I am just wondering if people would like a nice little utility that can run either on the FS2002 PC or a remote one which will allow you to view Approach Plates & Airport Diagrams (Controlled Fields) while in flight. What I will have is the ability to have it automatically show you the Airport Diagram for the current airport while you are on the ground so you don't need progressive taxi and in flight have it automatically show you approach plate options such as GPS, ILS, NDB, etc.. for the closest airport to your current location. You will also be able to manually look up any airports as well as zoom in / rotate and print out as well as work with Flight Plan Files…

Ok, at least I think it does. ;) I never had a single crash or hang on my system until I installed the Fokker and all it's extras. The first crash came right after installation, when I started them engines for the first time, it crashed after engine no 2 started. Hard reboot.Now I'm getting random crashes with other a/c too and it's pissing me off. I suspect that this might have something to do with the fssound.dll module, as the Fokker installer replaces it?My system specs: XP2200, geforce 4 ti4200, sb 128 pci, op.system XP with SP1.Thanks for any comments.

A problem has just appeared this week where all the engines keep shutting down. This happens regardless of aircraft type. I start the engines and shortly after starting to taxi they all shut down. After restarting I can complete the taxi and take off then during the climb they all shut down again. Passengers are not impressed. I have tried several aircraft using various panels, including the default 737, all with the same result.I have checked the system failure options but no failures are set. The only files I have installed recently are the Fokker 70/100 together with the panel and the Richard Probst 727 panel, could these have anything to do with it?Anyone have any ide…

Hi folksI got a problem with the default EHAM Schiphol.I've edited its AFCAD with the latest AFCAD, I save and restart FS2K2, but Eham still uses the crappy default 8 gate afcad.I have re-edited and re-saved multiple times. No luck.Also, has anyone got or knows where to get Afcads for the Justflight GB Airports 2002 series?

Hi,Is there a way to find the mapping "map" of my Goflight racks and then assigning some of the autopilot functions to my GF-P8's via the PSS Panel Config util. It allows the assignment of every major plane function to the keyboard or a joy stick button.The radios and most lighting works fine, however, there are additional functions that would be nice to get talking to the Dash8 autopilot. Hi guys, I've been trying my hand at designing and haven't flown for over a week, so tonight I fire up FS2k2 and found that the yoke has stop working. FS still recognizes it and all the buttons are programed but know action. I tried calibration; I get an 'ok' status but it won't calibrate, again no movement. Has anybody had this problem? I have CH pedals also and they are working. Is there a keyboard command to start turboprops in FS'02?(like J+Plus for jets and M+Plus for piston engine a/c, they don't work for turboprops) A lot of times I like to go to external view to watch the engines start up but I can't really start them up w/o doing CTRL+E and I don't want to use the 'cheat' way of doing it.
