I just started using WideFS and I cannot get ServInfo to work on the client PC and have the Servinfo gauge turn green on my FS. I have checked the box on ServInfo, and I know that WideFS works because I can use BridgeAI on the client and have the TCAS work on my PSS A320. Is there another setting I need to use to get this to work?ThanksKevin

...for producing exactly the outside temperature gauge I was looking for and sending it to me.It toggles between Centigrade and Farenheit and is an xml gauge displaying a red digital readout. It's now installed in my Baron and will make an appearance when I fly the next leg of the Round the World Trip. Thanks again Dani. :-beerchug

My last two flights seemed to experience the same problem. I flew an IFR flight plan into San Jose Ca. Air Trafic Control set me up for runway 30. When instructed to contact the tower, the tower told me to make left traffic for runway 12 (the other end of the runway). I switched on ATIS and was told the winds were from 140, so runway 12 would have been correct. Why did ATC send me to runway 30? It is as if ATC might not be following the current weather provided by ActiveSky? Perhaps I have somethins set up wrong? Thanks, jim b

Till this day i am a very happy user of FSMeteo. But i've been reading about wxRE, that this one is very good as well. Basicly they do the same thing, that is setting the current weather in my Sim. BUT wich one is (if there is one) the best? Anyone out there which used both and choose one in particular? And why did you choose espacially that one? Please tell me what are the pros and cons for one and the other! I know i can compare them with the features they support but I think that users that used both can tell me better which one to choose...

Has anyone else experienced failure of Approach to handoff to Tower after joining the ILS?On an IFR flightplan, after being cleared for the ILS approach, Approach usually initates the handoff right around the Outer Marker. Sometimes it just doesn't occur. I've had this happen at KATL and KBOS.Anyone else?James

You can monitor my posts all that you want AVSIM, I really do not care, If you want to go down the route of censorship when people say things that you may not like hearing then why do you run a public forum? Seems to me that many people backed my statement are you going to monitor them too?You put me down as a trouble maker, not true. I am simply a forum member that has something to say. If you dont like what I say then you always have the option of disregarding it and moving on. You see the world that I live in is the free world. A world that our forefathers fought and died to protect, so that we may have freedom of speech. We can say what we want without fear of reprisa…

Does anyone know of a tweak to adjust the update rate in virtual cockpit gauges? I'm experiencing great outside view FPS but stuttering gauge movements from within the VC, especially at night for some reason. 2D views are glass smooth, just occuring in the VC.It seems like there is a tweak but I have no idea how to implement it.Thanks!

Hi there, any idea of what I should check : all my AI planes vanished. I mostly was flying online in the last months and didn't notice the problem until recently: I am completely alone... Of course my traffic bar is at 100%, I restored my original traffic.bgl, and the scendbATC directory is active in the scenery.cfg.....any idea ?thxDos_key

Dear NG readers,First watch the screenshot...A couple days ago I have bought CFS3. During the installation directX upgrades to version 8.0a i think. After the installation of the game I wanted to play Flight Simulator 2002 but mostly when in multiplayer (sometimes in singelplayer) my aircrafts just sinks through the ground and crashes... The picture shows an addon aircraft but default aircrafts also have the same problem, they sink like the Titanic. So far I've tried re-installing FS2002 and installing directX 9.0 beta. But that didn't work out... So I think i'm losing my nerves!I hope somebody is a little or even much smarter then me and he or she can tell me what I shoul…

Hi all. This afternoon I played with those both great Dash8s.The advantages of the PSS model are: Virtual cockpit and GREAT exterior model, if not superb! The pluses of the Frolov Dash: Exact system modeling, just more complex, better flight dynamics, best ever sound for a flightsimulator and some other stuff.Ok. So I started to work on those aircraft cfg files. I foodled around that long, until I have positioned the outside lights properly etc.I got a working combination like this:PSS exterior model + virtual cockpit + Frolov panel, airfile and soundsTHAT IS NOT WORKING:- No gauges in VC /no light in VC- Lights are not all switchable- Only main door is openingAnyone knows …

Anyone who has flown in a twin knows the sound asynchronous props make. The default King Air and Baron can replicate this fairly well but no commercial twin addon I've seen so far can do the same. Why is that? I'm tired of having to look at the gauges to tell if they are synched or not! ThanksDavid
