Is there a way to change the default scenery complexity setting found in options/display page? I seems all other settings will remain unchanged in save flight except scenery complexity. Scenery complexity always defaults to low. Also on hardware settings, the framerate setting also drops back to 12FPS when selecting the same flight after being saved at 30FPS

Can anyone think of a way that I can program the center lever on the CH Flight Yoke to operate the thrust reversers? Specifically, I have the two outside levers operating thrust on engines 1 and 2. I would like to have the center lever engaging the thrust reversers when advancing forward (this would require a repeated input) and thrust reversers disengage when the lever is brought back down? Hi,I am experiencing some "laziness" on the longitudinal axis. The aircraft (all of them) are kind of slow to respond to the yoke input - and it happens only when trying to roll to either direction.I've had the CH yoke for about two years and it never happened before. I've tried to reset the sensibilities in FS2K2 - but it didn't help.I wonder if this is a bug with the USB at the OS level or some kind of hardware malfunction (bearings that got dirty?).Any suggestions?Twister

Hi all.Just reading an excellent book called 'Flying the Big Jets', the 777 edition. Best read I've had in ages, and the Better Half is quite impressed with what I know! (Quite surprised myself too).Anyway, The Book says that at a certain stage of the flight (can't remember the specifics) pilots stop using knots to manage their speed, but the Mach number.What The Book doesn't tell me is - why.Now I know what Mach is, so no problems there, but can someone tell me why the differentiation?What difference does it make if I'm cruising at 400kts or .75Mach? Curious to hear any answers. Correct ones would be a bonus!Allblack

Guys, After having flown so much in the PSS A3xx series, I've gottenspoiled regarding the quality of panel in that payware airplane. I also enjoy the Posky A330 series though....but cant find a good panel that has the realistic looking artwork that I've seen both in the PSS panel and in several boeing style panels from artists like Paul Golding etc.Whats the BEST panel for the A330? I've looked everywhere and triedseveral. The ones I've seen with good functionality have bad artwork, then ones with good artwok seem to be less functional.In your considered opinions, whats the BEST?And..is there any way to convert that PSS panel into something for the A330? HiI've d/loaded the above Fokker...but on installation my PC Frozed!!Uninstalled all and installed just the model (which uses the default B737 panel) and the PC loads and I can fly the Fokker!!When I installed the Panel.exe and loaded the a/c, the PC Frozed again...it weird & I don't understand what is WRONG!!!?? I've had the sim on the hard drive for 8 months now and I've noticed performance degradation. KORD used to display at 13fps at the terminal. Normal flight is set at 25fps. Now KORD displays at 8fps at the terminal. I'm using XP Home, P4A 2.0Gig, GeForce 3, 512DDR Ram.I remember someone a while back posted problems with the sim after doing a disc defrag so I've been avoiding that tool.Anybody have any advice or suggestions regarding how I can bring the sim's performance back to its previous state without having to re-install? Hey gang,I had a serious problem today in my flight. I was flying the YeoDesigns 737-200 v2 on HP425, SMF-PHX. So everything's going fine, and I begin my descent into Phoenix. All of a sudden, I go through FL200, and I lose control of the plane (it was on AP at the time). It looked as if I went through some major windshear, but I couldn't detect a major wind shift. Anyways, my plane was turned 360 degrees over and over again while being lifted up to over 100,000 feet at somewhere over M1.0, while the engines were running at N1 = 135%. Is there anyone out there who knows how to set the maximum number of seconds available in instant replay? 99% of the time I can only select 140secs of replay, even after a long flight. Is this memory (RAM) related or can I adjust a setting somehwere?

Thanks for all the Help in trying to get FS2002 UP again.I have the problem fixed now and here is the fix!I did a search on "Traffic.dll" and I had 2 hits. 1 was of course in FS2002Modules and the other was in WindowsSystem32. I went to Windowssystem32 and renamed it here. I then tryed FS2002 and it flew.I have no Idea why "Traffic.dll" was in the system32 file but removing it was the answer.Thanks again for the help. Boy do I have a problem, And DO I NEED HELP. I have this error at the start of the program FS2002, the error tells me "That FS2002 has decteted 3rd party softwarethat may not be compitable with this Version of FS" The file is "traffic.dll" ( this file is located in "Modules") The error goes on to say "do you want this software, click no will disable the software" I can also click "yes" to install it.But eather way FS2002 will chash and drop out and go back to the Desk Top. I seem to have a problem with ATC....whenever I select my aircraft, load weather, then put a flight plan in and save it, when I call ATC I only ever get advised to call a centre and get Traffic Info. If I go to the list underneath of airfields I get ATIS. WHat is missing is real ATC for IFR flight. I've tried several times to fly Tucson to Phoenix Sky Harbour (which I do in real life about 8 times a year - but as a passenger!!)and don't get any terminal control from ATC - I'm obviously missing something in the setup here - can anyone help? I've looked for a list of commands for ATC but have nor found anything yet except the very basic bits about autotune, etc.Hope to …
